: Sounds nummy. I have never heard of such a confection as a cake named after a Mister Wallbanger. Weldon makes a brandy cake with gooseberry brandy. It's a very heavy and dense cake with nuts and raisins and gooseberries, then you soak the entire baked and cooled cake in 4/5ths of a quart of gooseberry brandy until it cannot soak up any more (it stays together!) Then you pack it in about 5 pounds of confectionary sugar for a month in wax paper to reduce evaporation. It forms a candy crust. You slice it and eat as much of it as you want of it with an aspirin chaser.

If you are worried about Social Security, you can come and live with us here in Healer's Vale. We are completely off the grid and we grow our own food. Though we don't have any lobster or tuna here, I can always get a fish, and there's plenty of fat farm-raised mouse and rat bacon to go around.

I'm sorry about the news. I hope that your realtor is looking for homes for you. I mean, she should be able to talk people down to an affordable rate and I do think it's a bit strange that the loan has such stipulations. Do you have a copy of the loan before and after her update? ((hugs)) Don't be afraid to put her to work and if you see something that's a bit out of your range see if she can haggle a deal that will work for both parties.

My dad had to get a few full time jobs after he retired from 21 years in the military, before he retired a second time a few years ago from the county jail. So he's getting whatever the military gives him, some money from the county, and also whatever social security decides to give. It doesn't seem like much honestly, so they have to save as much as they can each month.
When I get that age, I'll probably be like you and there won't be anything for us, so we'll just have to keep working. sigh

So ready to have a drink lol. We now play on Wednesdays and it was different from playing a ranger. Also the roleplaying will take a bit of time to get used too and trying to remember the rules of Waterdeep. So I can use certain spells and use the back end of my weapons, but nothing to kill unless it's justified.

I also made sure Levi told the HR lady what needed to be shared before he called his boss, whom never answered or return the call so I'm guessing he's either cowarding or got chewed out for his absurd behavior.

heh. stupid wardrobe/site. I changed early this morning, and it's still not showing up properly. it keeps bouncing between 3 avatars. the one i wore yesterday. the one i changed into, and then i changed again (almost right away) because carl gave me the hook. lol it's driving me crazy, not knowing which one i'm wearing! :D

it STOPPED raining. but we are going to be getting more starting this evening and through the weekend. heh. the hub is pissed, because he took today off work, and then his lawn mower broke so he has to get 'parts' and fix it, and he doesn't think he's going to be done before the rain hits. hah. and he has a LOT of property to mow. because he mows the pasture behind the house (keep bugs/mice, etc down)

i'm just having leftovers. i don't feel like cooking, even though i do have plans on making some jambalaya. :)

: Thank you, your HA is absolutely lovely too, pirate outfits are some of my favorite ones to wear and I have one with that hat and plume, though my outfit looks like my pirate HA is out on parade. Today's HA reflects my Healer's habit when I go out on den calls, complete with sword for protection against predators, the herb satchels for my healing herbs and the Pinard horn for listening to feotal heart tones.

: It's difficult to have to give up something that you enjoy, like fine wine and ales, during the pregnancy, but it will be so worth it once the little one is born. Then you can enjoy a celebration glass afterwords. The hospital where my Author's mate, Francine, used to work used to give a complimentary single serving champagne bottle with the after-delivery steak dinner for every happy couple. Now they give the happy couples a juice box of apple juice and a straw with the after-delivery tuna sandwich on white bread and lime Jello cubes on the side. She worked at the County hospital, not the private hospital across town. I think that hospital is serving gourmet food now. I'm babbling....

I love your pirate outfit too. You girls make such wonderful pirate outfits. 's outfit is also great! maybe I should put on my Pirate Outfit.
