It feels very strange. Maybe its a trap for something.
Hope you were able to do what you needed done, .
I've been changing my clothes, doing bathhouse, and than zooming off again.
and i'm always roasting veggies. that's the only way i'll eat them. heh plus i put them in seperate containers and i can add them to what every "main" meal that i might have.
speaking of. i need to roast some more today. lol just tomatoes, carrots and zucchini today. i have NO idea Why. but i forgot to put my 'peppers' and any type of leek or asparagus on the list.
i think this week, i'll going to ask for some sweet potatoes.
and i like eating them, all by themselves.
OH! the man brought me home a couple more pots, so i can FINALLY plant the last of my plants. (can't believe they are still alive in those tiny little throw away pots)
ok. i'm gone. shower and than roasting.
:D See ya all later.
Uh-oh...
LOL...I forgot what I was trying to get done...have fun with your veggie roasting!!!
Oh it seems everyone is wearing some shade of pink. Did I miss the memo. I miss all memos tho :P
I am pink cus of a thing going on. She wanted us to dress up as something sweet and candy like. I went with cotton candy cus it was easiest for me kinda since it is pink and out of the box. LOL
my kitty Logan is at vet office...night . He got that stupid tick disease. I SOOOOO hope he pulls through okay. I lost 2 last year cus of it. cries My Logan is my big and fluffy.

:( Sorry to hear about your furbaby.... Did you get an update today on how he's doing or no?
Yes, I called this morning and they told me he was doing better it seemed. THEN I stopped in on my way into work to see him. He still looked miserable BUT could be he was in a strange place and cage too along with feeling icky. So hopefully he does great through the night. If so should be good to go home tomorrow afternoon. I just fear him coming home and me having to go to work for like 10 hours. I wont be around to give him water and force feed during that time if he wont on his own yet :( SO I worry about that. Work sucks!!!
Thank you :)
Maybe see if they can keep him for part of your shift? Just a thought.
And I have to pick up Candies ashes this weekend. We tried last Sunday and the damn rain washed us out a little over half way and we couldn't risk getting stranded (the area we have to drive through can flood in a heartbeat). I called them Monday to see if they might be able to send me the ashes by mail since it is a bit of a drive for me. Told me they'd call and nothing. Wednesday, Levi called and they put him on hold and never came back. While they were nice when we were there during the visit, I really don't appreciate being ignored over something that should be easy to say yes or no. I have some other beef with them since they put us both on hold the recording said something about a $35 fee about the doctor or something... They charged me $105 when I walked in and then another $100 emergency fee which I call bullshit on. So yeah, they aren't going to want to see me ever again and I will leave a review on their facebook page for taking advantage of me during a tough situation.
UGH. My vets office will close at like 5pm or so. Im thinking of picking him up around 2ish and bringing him home and going out to work at 315ish. SO he will be home for about an hour before I go so HOPEFULLY I can see if he willing to eat and drink when we get home on his own. That will make me feel better. I HATE HATE HATE going into a weekend with this since they closed all weekend .... granted if they have patients in holding they check on them but still no pickups etc. :(
I have been going to my vets office for 12 years now. I love them. There have been times that I have been put on hold forever and had to end up calling back etc over things but in general always great. I only had one issue with them and it was with a visiting doctor that they had while the main doctor was out of town. AND they will not let her back now either. I lodged a complaint. PLUS they are now an office of 3 main doctors (the owner, his son and a third guy). I think they may have another visiting doctor (which I do like) if they need him too. The lady I complained about instead of dealing with WHY I was there would focus on little things that were stupid with my animals and make me feel like a shitty owner. THEN she almost killed my one dog. He was very lethargic and not eating (this is the dog that I have lost to cancer). She did blood work (after complaining that his hair was to long and he needed a hair cut). His blood sugar level was 150 and a dog should be down near 100. Instead of starting him on insulin she goes "here feed him this food." Well next day he was worse. Brought him back, saw the other visiting doctor instead of her. He took one look at the blood work and was pissed off. He couldn't figure out WHY on earth she would have sent him home without starting insulin treatment and if I hadnt been so worried and brought him back in he would have died over the weekend.
I am sorry you ended up with a crappy place :( And yea that is some bullshit pricing practice. I know my place charges more for an emergency vs schedule but they dont charge two separate fees. I think a normal scheduled visit is $45 and an emergency is $65. And then of course any meds/xrays/services. But not a 105 and then another 100. Im pretty sure my place when I had to put buddy to sleep with the cancer they didnt charge me the emergency fee they just charged the services fee and then the cremation cost. I hate places when they take advantage. And 35 fee to even the 105 is a HUGE jump in charge.
~ I'm sorry about your furbaby :( It's never fun when they are not feeling well I hope he bounces back and feels better soon!
I remember the insulin issues and the vet at that point being a doodoo head. Made me so mad to hear you were dealing with such nonsense! I'm glad that the doctor is not welcome back.
I hope to eventually find a good steady doctor but for now I'm taking all of my pets to get fixed/and updated on shots they need as they need them at a walk in sort of place (except for the spay/neuter surgeries) so they don't deal with emergencies at all.
The place we went to was specifically an emergency office only open during the evening until the early morning hours and it's like a 40 mile distance so about an hour to get to. I just don't care to be charged more than I need to be for starters, I never did receive an email of the initial first payment so I'm not pleased at all about it. So Saturday morning either after or before we take the kittens and the almost 1 year old kittens from last Summer to the SPCA we will be stopping by that emergency place to pick up the ashes and find out what the hell is up with the extra money when the phone says $35. I swear, I will call them just to record that shit since I know they will put me on hold... It really shouldn't be so hard to say yes or no though so that's definitely some lazy bullshit not to just tell someone flat out that it's not doable. I wouldn't ask for my babies ashes to be mailed to me if it weren't so far but now I just feel like what if I paid for private and I got a bunch of other animal ashes with mine? Just kind of has me anxious right now to be honest.
Blah.
Logan will get to come home this afternoon. This is the time I regret not having a roommate. I'm going to have to go to work after he is home and I will be gone for 9 hours. :( They said he ate a little last night. He still running a fever this morning so giving him more meds to help with that. I hope once home with his family he will start feeling better. The others miss him. He is their well behaved sibbling. I tell them when they do bad stuff Did you ask yourself if Logan would do That? No Logan wouldn't have cus he Super Logan. Nightshade left a little of his dinner like always to share with Logan (shade was looking a bit thin after neuter so started to feed him up away from everyone so he got fair share of can food). Logan goes up and finishes left overs.
Yea we have an emergency place about an hour away here too. I always worry that something will happen at night or over weekend i will have to go. My biggest not like is the nave to drive an hour with a sick animal. I will be a nervous wreck to drive. I wish my vet office offered emergency services. Where a tech or something could field calls and if super bad call vet on duty in. There are 3 gets it could happen. Esp since one treat g Logan says he usually stops in at 1am to check on animals anyways. Of course if they answer emergency cal to the officel person needs to accept the charge will be over $100 just to see animal. BUT unlike your placethey world tell you up front and not change prices.
pokes at you That's good your kitty is coming home, but sucks you have to work :( Maybe with the other kitties there, they'll help him to eat more while you are gone.
~ I hope his fever is gone by the time you pick him up! That alone is scary! Do they know why he is sick? (just read above about tick disease :( ) I hope being at home makes him feel so much better! ❤
Poor baby :( I hope his fever breaks soon. It's so sweet how fond the others are of him, and Nightshade leaving food. Logan might just sleep through the fever. huggles

best skritches and tummy rubs and kitty treat vibes to Logan <3 I hope he's better soon!
you guys I haven't even opened the box the vet sent of the pawprint cast the did of my dog when we had to put her to sleep... it's been since October and I can't bring myself to look at it yet - although some days I'm good with talking/thinking about it.
wife and I consider ourselves super lucky that we've found a really good and caring vet around here - and they're not terribly expensive either, which helps a lot if you have a lot of animals
I'm rooting for your fluffy butt to feel better over the weekend. <3
UGH I hated working today and this week is going to be horrible nightmare!!!
Logan seems...eh. SO That means while I am home and not working til he is acting "decent" I will be constantly waking up to look at him. WHICH in turn will pester him. He ate some when I first brought him home but he didnt want to eat now. SO I had to force him to eat some and drink some water so I could give him his antibiotic stuff. Afterwards he ate like 4 pieces of dry food as if to say he could eat on his own. Now he is sleeping again. I THINK he has a small fever...put some rubbing alcohol on his paws best I could to try to help right now. He didn't sit still much for it. BUT he did go and use the potty. Plus groomed himself a little bit.
