I will be the patron saint of Scootles and Koras. For Scootles I have Slap Happy Gerty ( named after ), Happy Pony Express and working on getting Happy No Names.

LOL was wondering what color you were going to go for, have you thought of a job? because as i was looking at jobs (you know the thread on the forum?) I thought, "oh. she should have her scootle work at Shinwa's Temple!" :D

I was thinking of doing a 'vibrant' or 'aqua' color (i have elixirs for both) or wait and see if they come out with a Glade. (except i already have a glade pet) and i need achievements for the other 2 colors.

ok. i'm gone. i made YUMMY YUMMY chicken stock today! and I'm going to take the veggies i used to cook the chicken with (leeks, onion, celery, carrots, garlic....LOTS of garlic :D heheee) and some peppercorn. and i'm going to put them in my food processor. i was going to cook up some gnocchi and pour the whole thing (with broth) over that, but i don't think i will. lol i think i'll just break up some stale bread i have here, and eat it like that.

(putting the veggies in the food processor, and blending it all, will make the broth 'thicker') plus being filled with all those nutrients.

any way. i'm gone!

I just saw your post re homemade stock plus gnocchi which sounds amazing! I haven't had a good homemade stock or soup in ages... I don't really take the time to really cook or bake anymore - everything is so rushed these days

I haven't decided on a for sure color for Matka - they're all so pretty. In the meantime I need to spend lots to expand her treasure lol

I am nice to her.. Until she tries to cure me or make me nakkid. Which you have to admit are good reasons to discipline her.

the only reason we started watching the kids version was because Levi's co-worker loves the show. We thought we'd tune in and see what he was fussing about, lol. It is awesome to watch these kids make the dishes.

And I only questioned if they made it before hand given the fact they knew what they were going to make, what all the ingredients are and how to make it. I can't say at 10 years of age I would be able to handle that kind of stress without having practiced.

Oh I love your scootle's name! :) I was able to finally adopt mine yesterday as well. Named it Postal Happy Dakota (Dakota means Ally or Friend).

heh. and i'm here all day, and i've ALWAYS have the TV on. so i watch so much stuff, and of COURSE there are re-runs and re-runs. (I stopped watching soup opera's (soap. heheheee) i just got tired of them.

and with those kids. i can't believe they remember whole recipes in their head!!

heh. i think i've done rachael ray's meatballs a dozen times, and i STILL look at the recipe, to make sure i'm using the correct seasonings. (not so much, for "amount" just the right ones)

, well. i admit, i love cooking, but more and more, i'm just getting to tired to stand on my feet and do all the "sous-chef" stuff. heh. but the broth i made, was just so blasted good! and even though the man gets me stock/broth from the store,, there's nothing like having 'homemade'

besides. he gets a roasted chicken from the deli section of the store, and there is always so much meat left on it. i have to freeze it. then when i have 2 or 3 of them, i'll make the stock.

, lol i love doing a "italian peasant soup" a lot. cause it's veggies and bread. :D :D

right now, i'm munching on Trader Joe's Bamba peanut snacks. i can eat [b]40[/] of them in ONE serving! hahahaa of course, the taste is like.... wait for it..... still waiting .... ok. now i can taste a little peanut butter. heh.

they're crunchy like cheetos.

Ramen sounds lovely, and so do roast veggies. I finished my book, now I'm gonna fool around on site here for a couple of days while I get my thoughts together then I NEED to write these two big ceremonies and get them mailed off to my ritual teams before I'm in hot water for missing deadlines heh. heh.

speaking of books my nerdy audiobook came in from the library so I'm listening to the last of a Star Wars Trilogy - I'm waiting on a Le Guin book (Earthsea)

last night wife and I couldn't decide what we were hungry for and both feeling a bit lazy so it was breakfast for dinner... hey eggs and bacon are a good protein source right :P
