: or lovecrat...which ever is appropriate...
You are going to have 8 very very very intoxicated kitties on your paws all at once after their little nip and tuck there... I suggest taking video to document their symptoms as they come out of anesthesia. You will probably garner millions of hits on YouTube. Fresh grown catnip also goes a long way toward relaxing feisty felines.
: I don't think canines and felines can eat cumin, but the mustilaids often use cumin in their chili con carne along with a heavy dose of chipotle pepper and cayenne. I will try your recipe. I will have Weldon make it for me.
I stayed home today and will be staying home again tomorrow...I'm just not feeling well again. I'm going to try the cumin toddy.
Cousin Freddie, I missed you!
Mew! Upper respiratory infections suck! My old boss would have said juice a lemon, add a generous spoon of honey nuke it and do the shot or drink a hot toddy but Jackie was a nurse and as I was told so many times "Nurses NEED alcohol!" My Dad swore by a snifter of Brandy, a hot shower and a good night's sleep for anything...colds, URIs and snake bites. I had a URI a few weeks ago started taking probiotics for cats and while it didn't make the symptoms disappear, it did cut the time I was sick down by about 60% I hope you feel better soon, Dear One

I have spent all my csc on pet stuff ive got 59csc left lol. I must be mad. BUT Ive got a pet called BOOTYLICIOUS, got to be done.
Does anyone else have trouble thinking of life stories for their pets? I always imagine them as some type of human, before I create them, in an Anthropomorphist?? way, I seem to have real trouble thinking up stories for them as actual animals. How do you do all your stories if you dont mind my asking, as I know you are amazing with this sort of thing.
My Darling : I am going with the toddys for now. I'm going to try adding cumin to the toddy Weldon makes with lemon, honey, ginger, and cayenne. We don't have showers up here at Healer's Hall, but there is a natural hot spring that feeds our communal bathing pools and I have been taking very long hot soaky baths there. Thank you for your caring advice, I really appreciate it very much. That goes for everybody too.
Dearest : I write from what I know and from what I would love to read about. I try to write about feelings, emotions, overcoming difficulties and funny things that happen. I want my stories to be uplifting in some way, even if it is about a terrible situation. The profile I wrote about Madison takes place in the midst of a civil war, but there is a lot of funny, heartwarming, gut-wrenching emotive stuff to say about Madison's caring, loving, and funny little ways that makes her an endearing character. Her profile is all about her strength of character.
I just try to imagine what it would be like to be that particular pet and write from that point of view. Take Piquels for example. What would a pink priggle be like. I imagined that she was the oldest fraternal twin (her twin brother is Wilberforce, a blue priggle) and therefore she had a somewhat bossy outlook on life, much like Lucy VanPelt from the Peanuts comic strip. And yet, she has a dream of flying like Pancho Barnes, who was also somewhat of a forceful personality. She is cute when she needs to be, but she is no Veruca Salt. She's a good girl, but she can be a terror to her brother. She is good in school and will probably earn her wings at an early age.
So, the first step in writing is to develop your character, their shape, likes, dislikes, hair style, interests, clothes. You do a character study and pretty soon, your character comes to life and starts "talking to you." (You begin to imagine their personality) Piquels is all girl, all priggle and all about flying. She's a kid, so she sees everything from a kid's point of view, naive in some ways, well thought out in other ways.
Anthropomorphic animals are OK, there is a whole spectrum of anthropomorphism, all the way to fully clothed humans with ears and a tail (much like the way my HA is displayed) to 'naked' talking animals. My pets tend to be more animalistic now, I'm moving them away from animals with bewbs, I think that ship has long sailed over the horizon. (I still have a lot of revision to do on some of my original pet profiles that had characters which were quite curvaceous.)
But then again, you have to consider if you want to keep your pet's character as a citizen of Subeta/Atebus or not. Most of my pets are citizens of Subeta, Bubbles Galore, Fenberry, Piquels and Wilberforce all live on Omen with me and Weldon. Bubbles and Fenberry work at Rathskellers Inn for Babette. Fenberry is a cook and Bubbles serves. Wilberforce and Piquels are friends with Babette's offspring ( and match their colors too...) Subeta has a lot of anthropomorphic characters in it and many of mine just fit in with that scheme. It's a good place to start some stories too.
I hope this helps a little bit.
Good luck with your writing.
I gotta go, It's Saturday Night and Weldon is taking me out for drinks down at the Rathskeller's Inn tonight. It'll be a full house because Weldon will usually buys the house a few rounds to get everybody liquored up and then he'll play his whistle and sing and the rum and gold flows like water. Weldon gets 10% of the house and I get free ale. It's how we earn our Holiday Fund for the year.
You are amazing, I have loved reading snippets from your posts here and there, but never realised what a great writer you really are, not to mention your art work of course, and all this was written for me, whilst you are ill too, I am truly honoured and thank you for it muchly.
I Hope Weldon and yourself have had a wonderful golden evening, full of merriment and laughter. Im going to go read your pets lives properly now.
Ma Chere I'm still hoping one day to attend a tasting of Poppy Wheezle's brandies...maybe not the gooseberry unless its for its medicinal qualities, it sounds like you're on the mend, Cousin or so I would judge from the fact that you're posting

Cousin! If only that were true. I am posting because I am at home sick again and I am BORED TO TEARS (sniff, sniff...making big sad eyes...)
I am still coughing and I will be seeing a lung specialist down in the big city of Fresnoville. (he is a human!)
My best friend Madison thinks I might be going to go see a veterinarian, but she uses the word "veteriNarnian" because she has read all of the Narnia books and she thinks she is making a funny joke. I will have to teach her about jokes later.
LiLi, my other best friend, who's English is still pretty shaky, confuses the word vegetarian and thinks that I am going to see somebody who is finally going to convert me to a non-meat diet like hers is and then we can finally eat dinner together. Li Li lives in a different sphere of reality then the rest of us.
My third best friend Merril calls human doctors quacks. Merril is very used to being treated by veterinarians, she grew up on a military base as the pet of a high ranking officer who doted on Merry and took her in every six months for her physicals and health inspections. Merry has warned me about thermometers and where they go.
My Author Mark will be escorting me and Weldon to the Dr.s office on Wednesday. Then he will treat us to hamburgers at Red Robin and Ice Cream at Baskin Robbins. My Author apparently likes bird food.
I incorrectly used the word decoction in describing the medicines we make with gooseberry brandy. Those medicines are technically called tinctures and I was summarily reprimanded by the Master Chemist for using terminology that I apparently know nothing about (according to her). It is true that Passionflower essential oils are extracted by decoction, the long, slow boiling of roots, stems and bark. The other herbals used are made into tinctures of alcohol or infusions (like tea) with hot water. I know how to use the medications, our chemist is the one who actually makes the preparations. My bad. I may be Queen of the Tribe, but I can still be a dumb sometimes.
: Thank you my darling! You are precious and very kind. I appreciate your compliments very much.
Im trying to put up a free pet profile I got, and change the background which the blog says I can, I know a bit about photoshop Elements to alter pictures but Im really stuck, cause Im not very good lol, Ive already asked in the graphics forum, and tried removing the background code it advised, but it didnt work, Im wondering if its even possible?
1: What size in pixels does a picture have to be on a profile background, as Im only using guesswork.
2: When I do image-resize I tried scale but it doesnt make the picture smaller, I want the whole picture but scaled down? is that possible?
Im not good at explaining even lol. Im going to look at you tube and try to take it in lol. thank you for any help. this is the pet Eccles I really dont want to be a trouble, if its a simple thing that needs pointing out thats great, and I am very grateful.
Mew! Vegetarian? No lobster? No tournadoes du Bouef (I used to scrounge outside a Red Lobster and a French restaurant) Red Robin? Oh my I love Red Robin and what a coincidence...I like birds as food, too, that's what you said, right? quacks? Are they ducks, Cousin? It would be hard to be respectful while all you can think of is roasting them with an Orange' sauce or grilling them with a bourbon-butter basting sauce (feral cats have to take care of themselves and doesn't that also mean cooking? Mais Oui!)
Oh, Dear! Was the Master Chemist one of your former instructors and that's while she felt a need to correct you in such a manner?
Formerly known as Habeebi
: Oh Ho....no no no no....I am not abandoning the meats! No sausages? No mouse bacon, chicken cacciatore, no freshly speared fish roasted over a stream-side fire with fresh water clams and grasshopper popcorn? Nope nope nope, I'm not converting to a vegetarian diet, though Li Li would love me to, she struggles with eating at the same table alongside all my little omnivore friends who must have meats with every meal. I cannot imagine a life without meat. I mean to say, there's nothing wrong with fruit and nuts and honey and cookies!...gosh I'm suddenly very hungry. Oh, and ale...
The Master Chemist is quite a bit older then I am, perhaps Cousin Sparky's age or a little older. No, she wasn't one of my instructors, she is just extremely focused on her alchemy, a little bit overprotective of her formulas and somewhat suspicious of the other Masters. She's nice enough away from her alembics, retorts and crucibles. She thinks her Queen is a ninny sometimes and feels it is her duty to keep teaching me...
: It seems to be OK. You have the image dimensions set to 100% for width and height. If you change the dimensions of the image in Imgur, it will automatically change in Subeta too it seems.
[why do I want to put Freida every time?] Thanks for having a look, Ive worked out with help! over a few days, that the picture I get, has to fit the browser dimensions, I was getting pictures that are small, and resizing them, so when I see them, they are stretched out. The one you're seeing now is a corrected one so Im hoping it is a lot better than it was. Im sorry to have posted here, but Id been fannying about with it for 2 days and hoped you brainiacs might know what was up. Thank you.
I can certainly understand your friend's dilemma, especially if she converted as an adult. Its like going out to lunch with a friend when you're on a super restrictive diet, they get a steak sandwich on a brioche roll, steak fries and a salad with lots of dressing and a double Martini as they ask for more rolls and butter (chien!) and as much as you want to say "I'll have the same!" you go with 2 ounces of cottage cheese and half a cherry tomato. Of course you talk about the diet and your resolve to stick with it as you're planning to stop off at McD's for a couple of Big Macs for the ride back to work
Want me to bite the Master Chemist, Freddie? I knew what a tincture was but thought of a concoction as something just thrown together (LOL I'm sure Glen Meadow's Master Chemist will be fitting me for a dunce cap). How did it go with the Dr's ma chere?
Formerly known as Habeebi
: The Dr. human was very nice. He thinks the cough got started with a virus, but left untreated could linger for up to a year. I get new meds now.
Lili was born herbivore because she is a red panda. However, I have seen her munch a grasshopper a few times. Mostly out of curiosity I am sure. Perhaps she is an obligate herbivore with a touch of opportunistic omnivore tossed in for good measure.
I donβt think we need to bite Master Thornapple. When I RP during WWS, I use her as a reference for some of the stunts I write about, like making bombs, TNT, and Nitroglycerin. I don't get into conflicts with the Masters of the Woodland Council. We are all small creatures and sometimes it is just instinctual or territorial to be a bit crotchety at times.
OH OH OH!!
LOOK AT ME!!
Outfit Not Found
I'm not wearing a SINGLE CUSTOM WEAR not my face! not my hair! hahahaaaa
and the only thing "special" is the skirt, it's the Subeautique item (DeeLa Cinders skirt)
I Want a COOKIE!
I still wish that Subeta would come out with some face definitions items. better blush or something that does contouring.
Mon Cher Oh my, I was so glad that GR was cool about using black powder and white phospherous (lol I learned a lot about it from researching how it had to be stored and carried and the damage it was capable of to accurately roleplay it)
I think I like your Dr's theory a lot better than my own, Freddie, I was worried that it was Valley Fever...a year is a lot better than the rest of your life, how long will you be taking antibiotics, Cousin
Formerly known as Habeebi
: You look beautiful! I sent you cookies.
: I will not be on antibiotics, fortunately. I am on inhaled steroids...massive quantities of them. They are to decrease the inflammation that the viruses caused three months ago.
My story
Its long, has never been edited and was written from the top of my head. This is an experimental post to see how DropBox behaves on Subeta.
That hair...oh my goodness! Its fabulous!
More, Cousin...I want more of that story! Wait...seriously, there are no other cats in Glen Meadow?
Albuterol? Thank the Mother of Cats! Long term use of antibiotics can be really bad
Formerly known as Habeebi
: Spiriva. Long acting analogue of albuterol and a corticosteroid.
That link I posted contains the entire manuscript for a 850 page book. Did you read it already?
Yes, there are bobcats in the area, but they are the top predators and have little to do with the smaller creatures.
There are some feral cats in the area, offspring of domesticated 'house-cats.' But they are considered dangerous and our kind tend to not interact with them. They also tend to be nomadic. There is some speculation that the Department of Fish and Game traps them and moves them.
I love writing about explosives and gunpowder and that sort of stuff. It makes RPing fun for me.
