not too much, got most of the dishes washed, made chickens were good for the day, finished filling the jar with lucky charm marshmallows for hubby, xD and now working on BuJo before kiddos wake.. i failed this years so i am gonna start 2018 fresh.. wanna get a head start on the layout. xD

we have a fast food restaurant in this area (BoJangles) that will do a "fried turkey" and the man and son have been wanting to try that. so i said ok.

any way. we're suppose to get some 'sides' with it. but i'll make some up and since the girl has gone "veg" she says she'll bring up "her thanksgiving dinner" ha! a TOFU TURKEY! (ick)

lol i'm kind of sorry the man won't have any deer meat. i'd love to have done a roast.

FLYINGKAT: i made chili yesterday. it was good. i took out a (really small) flank steak, and i'm going to see if i can make that "...../damn.....i'm forgetting the name.....did the same thing when i talked about it before..../BRAISING!!" ha any way. i'm going to braise it with the pepperoncini and the rest of that "bone" stock i have. heh. i don't know if it was because i was so "veggie" the other week, but this week i'm feeling very "carnivorous"

Lol is doing the same thing! She said its cheaper than buying the whole thanksgiving dinner and why not order it and save all the cook time! I invited my whole family over 12-16 people and making dinner -.- lol, so far on the menu, chocolate pie, pork loin, scalloped potatoes, sweet potato and pineapple thing, mixed veggies and that’s just what I am making lol

We are going to the lease this weekend to hope to get something to cook or its pork loin. He said he hopes to shoot a couple of ducks at least if he doesn’t get a deer but its all in the air since it is hunting not killing after all

Catfish sounds good :O I am making tilapia tonight cause I was lazy lol. Yesterday I cut up a ton of veggies from our garden and made bacon and eggs with them, it was really packed full of flavor!

oh man! i bet those eggs were FANTASTIC!!

HAHAHAHA AND GOOD FOR !! (oh good. i dont feel so bad) ack. i've had goose ONCE. i didn't like it at all. grin but then, i don't like dark meat (or greasy)

and the goose was like that (i forget where we got it from/or how i had it)

ha. and I told the man, i'd like to have a pork lion for Yule. i usually fix a big pork then, put it in the freezer (after we eat on it) then pull it out for Christmas, to go with the turkey.

of course, that was when the whole family was home. lol

this christmas, will probably have a roasted chicken, and some seafood :D

I was thinking salmon for thanksgiving but it got xed lol XDD I was originally going to do stew as the main meal and my husband said that wasn't a main dish lol Luckily I don't have to do christmas my parents are doing it on new years eve, weird right? lol my husband's fam better never complain about not getting a holiday again either cause they are getting Thanksgiving and Christmas day this year XD plus they wont come to our house which would be easier -.-

i need to finish making my gifts too. yesterday when came home.. he had a big package from Indigo, i'm like i didn't order anything from Indigo. open it and its a couple schleich animal advent calender's for the kiddos and i knew who it was from xD

hopefully getting him on monday.. things keep coming up and she couldn't make it

We haven't gotten together yet, but soon enough! That's the good thing about living close enough, we could always meet up during the week for dinner, but with the holidays coming up, it may be harder. We'll see what happens.
