I can understand the staying at home. and yeah I need certain foods on Thanksgiving too. like Green Pea Salad and pumpkin pie lol.
I've got the turkey and the ham in the oven cooking right now. I don't do anything on Sundays except church services and eat a hamburger which I am so tired of. maybe nachos tomorrow lol.

oh! , i remember when we had chickens. the man had to go and buy about 3 heating lamps to keep the place warm for them.

no chickens anymore, but he still had to go and buy a heating lamp for the cat lol i really wish i could bring her in the house for the winter. :( but i can NOT having her pooping all over the house. then i don't realize it, till i walk by a room and the SMELL! ack.

no. sorry. she's got a good "cuddle bed" in there, and with the heating lamp shining right on her bed and water and food. she'll just have to put up with it.

LOL true. they'll move stuff around, and he'll complain about not being able to find it. grin. at least it will give him 'starting points' in looking for the stuff.

I hate when I lose something I've typed out! GRRRR! I'm going to edit this post with the recipe links so I don't do just that! Lol I never even tried beets until a few years ago. They just look yucky but really they're good. You can also grate them raw and put on a salad. That sucks about your turkey dinner! I would be so mad! The whole turkey dinner here is only around 50$. So my hubs found almost the same dinner cheaper and with the pumkin pie so we had to order again at the other store and he doesn't want to cancel the first one just in case. Hes making me crazy! Erm, crazier! :-P Have fun shopping! I'm laying in bed as I think I have strep throat our the flu even though I had a flu shot. Earlier I thought I was going to faint and I couldn't make it to the sofa so I laid down on the big dog's bed. Rotfl!!!!

Also I add a squirt of sriracha because I like it a bit more spicy. You could add more cayenne too.

yes, just give a little insulated house out of wind chill and she will be fine. growing up we had over 20 barn cats and we didn't do anything but feed them and sometimes make sure they had water.. and when i was younger we had a LOT more snow then we get these days.

ha. poor cats!! hey. wild cats survive during the winters.

and YES! lol you can order thanksgiving dinner. places like walmart, will not cook any thing for you, but they'll get all the stuff and put it in a box for you to pick up. (then you do the cooking)

grocery stores will sometimes "cook the turkey and a couple of sides" for you.

i found out that you can get a whole cooked dinner from whole foods, (but it cost like 100 dollars!) lol

i booked marked both recipes, and will go back later and copy them to put in my folder, so i can try to make later :D

, may I ask where you are from? Here in Florida, Publix will cook you a whole turkey meal. Starts at 45 or 50 bucks and goes up to 75. You get the turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, desserts, rolls... I always ordered from them. Because all we would have to do is heat it up in the oven for a bit. Plus it always tasted good. But my husband has been working out of state for his job and will be in Michigan for turkey day. So this year we are just gonna pass on the whole turkey meal.

well it is on again tonight. I am going to call DTV and tell them they have one week to get cbs back or I'm switching to Dish. Been having to watch my cbs shows on comp and having to pay extra is ticking me off lol.

on a happier note, fireside has started and of course it's on a day when I am the least active. hope you get lots of new stuff.
