This is the question and comment thread for Chaptert 4.
First of all, I'd like to extend my thanks to for the terrifically diabolical "cards" for the current challenge. These "cards" divide up through a coomon factor into five sets of ten each. Your task is to separate and catalog them correctly, then decide which set fits the "Voice" given, and which "Voice" is best suited to the pictures lit by the spotlights. Finally, choose which two of the locations spotlighted you think have the clues. You do NOT have to actually visit, just choose. RP the sorting, decisions, and your reasons/arguments, etc.
Smail the sorting, your reasons why, and the matching of "cards" to "Voices" by 11:59 pm on Friday, July 14th. (Appropriately Bastille Day.)
If you do everything right, your team will get lots of points.
Ah, looking forward to the scores to know how to do better!

Hi, I have a few clarifications of the post to ask for. I hope it's OK!
My first question is pretty simple... Is there a word missing after "ever-changing" in "a large rotating ball that throws an ever-changing over the room" ? (If no word is missing, what is "an ever-changing" ?)
There are five spotlights. There are more than five pictures and panels hanging on the walls. One of the spotlights points at the picture of the Singani wagon. One of the spotlights points at the picture of the forest at night. One of the spotlights points at the picture of the forest in the daytime. So much is clear; three of five spotlights, three pictures.
Now there's two spotlights left and some confusion in my mind about what they are pointing at...
One of the spotlights points at a wall panel picture of a lion's head. (I think it being a wall panel means that this picture is carved or drawn directly on the wall, not hanging on the wall in a frame, but not totally sure) and, I'm not sure, but I think one of the spotlights points at a picture of the balcony where the Prime Minister died? It actually says "the last two consist of the balcony" so originally I thought two spotlights pointed at two pictures of the balcony, again one at night and one in the daytime, but then that would be five, and after that it says "the last one a wall panel with a lion's head" so I mentally changed it around to one picture of the balcony. Or is one of the spotlights pointed at the actual balcony (not a picture of it)?
OOOH! Now this is in my baileywick for sure! So excited about this picture puzzle!

New WS chapter up; posted on lodge :)
Missing word is "spectrum." It's been corrected, my apologies.
Now, to clarify the paragraph that has you so confused.
Spotlights:
Four and five are the last two, so: 4. Balcony where the Prime Minister was killed 5. A picture of a wall panel with a lion's head. (Not a sculpture or a carving, although the sculpture exists somewhere.)
While these are all pictures, they are meant to lead you to certain locations.
I hope that clears up your semantic confusion? If not, I'll try to make it even clearer.
Do we count the couple in the picture as one character or can we list them as 2?

You mean that none of the spotlights are pointing at cookies, or , or plates of bacon and sausages? bummer.
is guessing the woman's preferred name something we should do now or are we waiting for more clues?
on SL due July 7th! Take a look at what has been done. Need some input please.

- new comments and a couple of questions for you on SL for the current puzzle.
Now would be a good time. :)
Please note what Tamara says about the puzzle she gives you and amend your solution if need be. I have a team that got it all right but is going to lose points for not following the directions fully. I know I probably shouldn't warn you and I won't in the future, but it's early in the game, so one time warning!
Good luck teams! :)

Gah! Double post.
Please ignore--that is, more than usual. :D
if that's a double post, where's the other one?!
Don't be silly, I could never ignore you.
You look smashing, by the way. great way to match those books.
The way some people spell makes me wonder about their pronunciation. My CW shop, and my ping group
