We made it!!! I didn't think we were going to :D.

I'm not quite done my quests for the day, and I really want to finish with the weekend bonus and compare and contrast.

- I would love to take you up on those prizes, but I didn't participate every day :( I totally slacked yesterday and didn't do a single quest.

- I was convinced earlier today that we weren't going to hit the goal, too. I'm happy that we did :)

I felt the same way about Sarah. Got less than every other time I did it. I only did her and sag and wiz so didn't bother posting.

I'm back home, the trip was awful, like 8 hours in a bus with Spanish songs that all sounds the same, Panama is nothing special, even ugly I would say, the hotel was a disaster.. thankfully it was a 24 trip just for a new visa stamp..

So happy that we made it, sorry that I couldn't participate in the last 24 hours, it was fun, especially to do it in a rush, it made it exciting lol thank you so much for this, we need more competitions and games as a team :) You can divide my points between everyone because I have no need for items unless they are for an achievement "^_^

It's only here because they don't have same sex marriage, so our marriage is not recognize.. the family is divided to a resident and a tourist, if I was a woman, I would be resident too.. in Europe and US we wouldn't face this problem.. so as a tourist, if I was to continue to "travel" I need to go out of the country every 90 days for at least 24 hours and come back for more 90 days.. we hired a lawyer and by the end of the new 90 days hopefully everything will be solved :)

Welcome back, sorry the trip sucked. Hopefully you'll be able to solve the issue before you have to do it again :). If you have the time, you should try to get a couple of quests done, rewards are worth it!

Yeah, I almost gave up once we passed the 750K mark because of lag and errors. But I'm happy I persevered :D

It's a mess, in Israel I'm still single for example.. they won't recognize my husband because he's not Jewish.. it's like I'm married but not really yet until it'll be global recognition.. :(

Panama is exactly as you imagine a Latin America country in a 3rd world position.. but there it's weird because when you enter Panama City, it's super rich... maybe next time, with a proper trip, we'll go there.. Costa Rica is by far more modern but still needs to solve so many problems.. it's like modernity in a 3rd world.. beautiful buildings and shopping centers on a broken and dirty road..

I've heard that about Costa Rica - beautiful with a lot of modernity, but also a lot of underdeveloped things. Hopefully they recognize your marriage soon -hugs-

Hey, you don't get to take ALL the credit for my funk ;) I do hope you will pick a prize!

Well, over 7 days of questing I made 47,538,606 sP. Picked up about a dozen amulets, a handful of WL items and a lot of assorted junk. Pretty profitable, but also I didn't do anything else. I didn't work on my galleries, I didn't work on achievements (well other than picking up plushies to push toward that last achievement), didn't add anything to my shops.

Looks like I'll be going back to my old habits of doing Shinwa quests, probably wiz quests and maybe Library quests. May add on Pete quests, because those ones gave me the most WL items after Library. I know I won't keep doing all of them because that's just too exhausting. I'm up to 255 QP and I think I've bought all the seasonal items that are going to disappear tomorrow. LOL then I'll see how many I need for the new crop. I may keep doing Sarah quests for the QPs - low stress, fast and easy quests.

What about the rest of you? Has the quest-a-thon encouraged you to try to quest more?

That is a pretty great profit you made! Making so much every week would be nice but yeah, definitely a lot of effort involved. Though I do think posting here after every quest giver just made it added work, even though the idea was to foster conversation.

I did Sarah this morning. And will probably do wiz later today. Maybe Sag. When I would bother to quest before this it would be wiz and pete but this has shown me that Pete is not profitable. :/

But I didn't post after every quester yesterday and, yes it was easier, but not that much easier.

While Pete is not profitable for sheer sP, I did find his items to be better than most who still give out items. For me, that's better. If it was just for sheer profit I'd do Saggy quests, but his were quite annoying and slow for how I have to quest. Might be different if I could easily buy from user shops, or pull stuff from my own shops through the shop search.

It's too bad there isn't a quick and easy way to price everything in a shop at one single price like 50 million. that way no one would buy it and you could pull it out while questing just like any other item you have in a shop. there is so much about this new shop and gallery system that I despise!

I wish we could that! But if I could, wouldn't solve my problem I can't click on the buy/move button on shop search page since it uses a script. Well I can...if I turn on scripts, but when I do that every page takes about 10 times longer to load. So I can slow down questing by turning on scripts, or I can slow down questing by not being able to pull things easily from user shops. I can copy the item name, click the user shop, search for the item and buy it that way.

That's why Sarah quests are so fast and easy for me, the vast majority of items she asks for are in NPC shops, which I can buy from easily.

Also - pricing everything at 50M would only work for some items. If there are more than one page of shop search results, your shop will only show up as a move option if your item is priced near the typical user shop sell value.
