"Lucky you, if it wasn't for Gabriel I would never leave the forest." He giggles. "Mom is scared of the outside world for an unknown reason to me. She told me something but it doesn't explain it." He shrugs. "I wonder why we were asked to come here? Nothing has happened yet."

"Parents are weird," Magnus said, "I think we are just waiting to make sure everyone's arrived.

Rosie shrugged her shoulders. If the boys weren't going to sneak off she'd find another oppurtunity to get her hands on the snake. He had fascinated her and she wondered what sort of things a cheeky one would get up to.

Magnus shook his head. "Not today," he said, "we're plotting for later."

"I can't wait for it to start then." He grins with Rosie's words. "You can pet Thunder." He made an effort to get it out of his arm and then gave it to her. "He is very attracted to my arm, hope he likes you."

She nudged the pineapple away from the potato salad because she hated her food touching and she overheard Merlin () and Magnus () mumble something about Knockturn Alley. She lowered her voice, "what are you naughty boys planning? A trip to the other alley?" She winked at them, telling them their secret was safe with her. "Just be careful, mmm'okay?"

Millie went to take a bite of her potato salad and made a face. "I got pineapple juice in my salad"

Instead he found a spot at a table and pulled out his sketchbook. He had been extremely bored over the break, his parents having insisted he spend time with the family. This lead to him filling his last sketch book and having to begin a new one. The first few pages were filled with drawings of plants. Opposite the blank page he was turning to were some very detailed sketches of a raven.

Pulling an ink pen from his pocket, carefully disguised as a quill, he began hatching some lines on the page.

"Oh, hi!" Gaia grinned at Eros () "I am so excited about these guavas and passion fruit. I wanted to eat them earlier but I was kicked out of the kitchen when I told the chef the mofongo needed more garlic." She laughed "want to sit down? I am ready to stuff my face" she kissed his cheek and started walking towards the table where some of her friends where.

((I will catch up in a little bit. I am off tomorrow so I feel like I need a nap XD))

"What is...mofongo?," Eros asked, having not seen everything on the menu today, as his eyes scanned around to see how many faces he knew. It was more than he thought.

She turned around and quickly made her way to the small island table, filled a plate, and returned to the table. "These are delicious! They are fried plantains mashed with garlic and chicharrones. They are the best! Mom makes them for me all the time." She grinned at Eros hoping he would love them too. ()

Gaia turned her attention to her friend Fade () and yelled above the other voices. "You better be drawing something for me if you are going to stay that far away!"

He stared at the plate of what almost looked like mashed potatoes except, as Gaia explained, they were plantains. He looked from the plate to her. She seemed to be waiting and watching for his reaction. "Will you still be my girlfriend if I don't like it?," he asked kiddingly. The boy grabbed his fork and sternly tried it. A small smile melted on his lips before he nodded. "Not bad," he replied approvingly as he continued to eat the rest of it. Eros grinned and leaned away a bit when Gaia started yelling to Fade. "If you keep shouting, I think I'll go sit with Fade." He looked over to Fade () and waved hi before continuing to eat.

(( Just give Merlin mofongo, guayaba, mango, and passion fruit. No chicharrones please, he will stay.))

"Same 'ere," Magnus said with a wistful sigh. "I know I'll get bored soon. Well unless I read or draw..."

He shook his head to Millie. "Nah, we ain't being naughty... yet."

He noticed Fade was drawing so he left his friend alone.

I mean I am sure there are some local dishes I wouldn't eat." She grabbed a passion fruit from her fruit bowl and handed it to Eros "This right here IS a deal breaker. The best ones are a balance between sweet and sour." She grinned as she grabbed some mofongo of his plate. () Stopping long enough to wave at Harper () to come join them.

We have that in Australia," he assured."We use in desserts like pavlova and stuff," he said as he grabbed a spoon to scoop out the insides. There was also a soda but he never tried it.

It was inevitable that he would be caught sooner or later. But Gaia had a point. Placing a finger on the page so he wouldn’t lose it, he got up and moved to sit at the table with them. “Mind if I join you then? Not that I'm trying to get out of giving you a sketch or anything.” Fade sat with a smirk and flipped back to his working page. Sketching the students in various activities around the room was a good idea. Fade began to realize that a number of people had brought their pets. He hadn’t thought to bring Chase, it was a bit of a bummer. “I’m alright for now, thanks Millie.” () Looking up at her he made a quick gesture of her hair and flowery headband in his sketchbook.

"Oh, is that why you have been preparing me with all these food related events?," Eros questioned, narrowing his eyes at her. Her family sounded close. She was lucky, he thought. There was a brief sad look in his eyes, but it disappeared as Fade joined them.

"Hey Fade," Eros greeted the other boy () properly. "So are you ready for some Gaia and Harper style fun?," Eros asked with fake enthusiasm, almost sarcastically as he looked over to Gaia.

"What are you two planning?"
