"Eh, don't worry about it," he said, "just eal. 'Side's I didn't finish so didn't win either." He looked at the nurse pleadingly. "Please, can 'e go back? I'll keep an eye on 'im, make sure 'e don't over do it. Please."
((he's looking all like this :
))
The nurse looks at them seriously and advised them not to come back again today which meant not to get hurt once more. Merlin smiled and sits up. "I will be more careful." He stood up slowly and touched his head. "Do I have a bruise?"
"If either one of us get 'urt again, they're gonna tie us to a bed," he said seriously. "Er, I think you do. Could be worse though." He held his hand out to offer him help up. Whispering he said, "lets get outta 'ere."
Merlin smiled and accepted the hand, then did his best to run but was not only no match for Magnus, his legs were a bit shaky. "Don't run too fast!" He called to Mag who was way ahead already. "Too bad we don't have brooms." He stopped and smirks. "We can summon them or...we better summon the brooms. Accio broomstick!"
((ooc: sorry for being gone all day, I had plans I didn't know I had. ))
Eros watched as Mags took Merlin to the hospital. The captain thought about following, but he needed to stay with the group. Hopefully, Merlin would be alright, although, it didn't seem like it at the time. Eros was suddenly feeling a little defeated. Not drained, but he failed somehow. Merlin was the second to go to the hospital today. Maybe Eros was expecting too much and the challenges he designed weren't a good idea. Eros walked to a patch of grass and just sat down, thinking about calling off the workshop. Maybe it was too dangerous.
He could handle losing. Losing meant he only failed himself. However, right now, he was failing the younger kids. Magnus. Merlin. That was two so far. Would there be more? No way the school was going to let him host another workshop after this. The sixteen year old buried his head between his knees for a moment to contemplate.
((aww poor Eros -hugs him- If Mags was here he'd try to comfort.))
He wasn't running that fast but summoning the brooms was a good idea so he followed suit and waited for it to arrive and slung on it. "No fancy stuff, Merls," he said, "And not to 'igh either."
((OOC: Aww poor Eros! Don't feel bad, accidents happen. Ok maybe too much to Merlin but he is always like that. lol))
Merlin nods and only flied boringly next to Magnus. "I hope Eros lets me back in, he said he would make me a personal waiver and I honestly don't blame him." He giggles. "How many times have I fall so far? I know I'm a newbie but this is ridiculous! Broomsticks hate me."
"Don't forget I broke me arm," he said reasonably, "its flying and up igh and all, bound ta 'appen. I'm sure Eros will let ya back, though maybe 'e might make your course a little, er, simpler..."
He laughed. "I don't like handicaps, I like a challenge so I don't want a simpler course." He pouts. "Maybe I shouldn't have come, how am I supposed to catch Eros' flag? He is faster than you and I hardly catch you. I'm glad I didn't kill you in the process, I did bumped your broom but it wasn't intentional, sorry."
"Stop it," Magnus said firmly, "you're fine. You've done really well. 'Ave some confidence in yourself. You 'eld your own against me. I'm still a newer flier but I mean you did well so stop kickin' yourself... sides," he added with a smirk, "if anyone is gonna kick ya it'd be me on another bet."
Merlin was surprised with Magnus words since he didn't realized it before how hard he was on himself. "I.." Merlin wanted to be great and that was his problem, he hated failing in anything. "Sorry, I tend to be a bit strict with myself and maybe I shouldn't be so hard. It is a bad habit I guess." He then smiles. "What kind of bet would you do this time? Hopefully nothing that involves getting back to the hospital wing." The quidditch field was in view and Merlin got tense, he was scared of what the captain may say. "Do you think I ruined the workshop..ok we ruined the workshop." He laughs slightly. "No one else had to go to the nurse."
"You gotta learn ow to crawl before you can run, Merls," Magnus replied, "give yourself credit. Look 'ow well you've done today. I'm proud 'o you. We can be competative another day, 'ow about we bet you can stay out of the 'ospital wing for the rest o' the workshop. Whaddya want if you win?" He shook his head and firmly said, "No I don't and If Eros thinks so, I'll set 'im straight."
Merlin nods. "You are right Magnus and I never paid much attention to flying lessons, i could do it yes but was always making a face instead of listening." He giggled. "I think this workshop helped me a lot in letting go of any discomfort I felt while sitting on a broom." He scratched his head after listening to Magnus say he was proud. "You are proud of my bruise then?" He laughed loud. "I did managed to do most of the course before hitting my head, I guess that's something." The bet sounded good so he smiles. "Alright I have to win this one, but if I lose I would do your most hated prefect work for a week. If I win... I want us to go explore the forest again."
"I know I am," he said confidently, "totally proud o' you. I mean and so should you. And now you love flying on a broom so, totally today is a win." Then Merlin laid out his terms. "Deal, but its a right shame, I really 'ate aving to patrol 'allways. Oh well, the forest will be fun."
Merlin was proud to have such a great friend. "You are amazing, just so you know. You are capable of making anyone feel better, thank you." He smiled and then points toward the group of students and most especially toward the captain who was sitting miserably with his head buried. "I'm alive!" Merlin joked as he arrived lifting his hands in victory and waving the two flags he managed to get- he never let go of them. "I am sure no one missed me but I came back anyway!" He then yelled to he captain. "Eros, I am not suing you so don't be so upset, at least we passed most of the course unharmed." He smiled and waited to be yelled by him.
(and everyone xD) He waved his hand, "I'm just saying the truth." He smiled and then they were back to the group. Magnus saw Eros and flew up to him. "You okay?" he asked concerned. "Don't worry about the accidents, bound ta 'appen mate. Your course is amazing, really."
((OOC: I had fun tonight, Merlin is stronger now thanks to Magnus. Unfortunately I have to go to sleep or I won't get up early tomorrow. Goodnight everyone!))
Merlin went to Eros side as well wondering if he was alright. "I have really enjoyed the workshop so far, despite the little accidents and I have learned a lot to which I am grateful so please have a little patience with us, especially the clumsy guy."
Eros lifted his head when he heard the world I'm alive from a familiar voice. The teen turned his head to see Magnus and Merlin returning. Merlin had both hands raised with the flags he had claimed. The captain pushed himself off the ground, brushing his pants a little as Merin exclaimed something about not suing him. The Aussie didn't catch the tail end of that since he was more focused on Merlin being mobile.
"What?," Eros seemed confused for a second when Magnus asked if he was okay, unaware how down he must have looked. "I'm not the one who was unconscious," Eros answer the boy (). His stare focused on Merlin.
"Are you okay?," the captain felt the need to ask despite Merlin being able to stand (). "Why are you back?," Eros asked, not upset but more concerned. "I think you need to take a break." He was surprised that they let Merlin come back to the workshop. Actually, he was more surprised Magnus and Merlin didn't come back with some adults concerned about what was going here and why students kept getting sent to the hospital.
He looked from Merlin to Magnus. "Accidents happen, but that's two so far in such a short span of time. We're not even playing real Quidditch or anything. Just flying," Eros sighed, the frustration present in his voice. He also made it sound like flying was a basic thing. "I don't know. Maybe this workshop is too much?," Eros expressed, unsure. He didn't say out loud, but he blamed himself. He was the captain and any injuries were on him, whether they sign a waiver or not.
((ooc: night ))
((me too <3. aww I'm glad. Mags says he should have confidence lol Sleep well))
Magnus nodded at Merlin's words. "Are you kidding, Eros? Seriously? Me arm was nothing, it 'appens all the time. And you know professionals get 'urt. Its part of the sport. Please don't let it get you down. NO! You can't cancel the workshop. If you do then ow am I gonna go against you in the next course? Damn if I don't get a round against you. I know I can't win but I wanna try." He folded his arms with a determined look. "If I know anything, its that you're course is damn amazing and I wanna go up against the person who made it... come on, friends don't let friends fly alone." Bold proclamation, but Magnus kinda felt Eros had become a friend.
Eros bit his lips as he weighed his options, although he was caugh off guard when Magnus used the word friends. Eros stared at the determined look on the werewolf's face. He couldn't help but remember the day he first met the kid. Funny enough, it was Quidditch club and they were doing skill building exercises, too. The captain sighed. "I doubt they're going to let me do another workshop. I guess we might as well carry on seeing as it might be my last," Eros sighed, giving in to Mags. "Never seen anyone so eager to get beaten, mate," Eros smiled. "Then again, you've been literally full of surprises, so I probably shouldn't underestimate you either."
