"Yes, it should be!" Magnus agreed happily. "And maybe we should add a random baby crying for 'elp... you know, so the mother can be screaming she needs to save it in front of the news reporter." Every good destruction scene seemed to have a distressed mother and a baby... right? "Oh, the flobberworms should 'ave 'ostages."

"Classic." Fade added a baby buggy, also on fire, and began adding a line of worms dragging a baby in a blanket toward the big worm with abs. "Hey if they actually start a newspaper here maybe we can work in a comic section." Sitting back to admire their work he wondered if they would be allowed to add blood. Blood was always fun to draw. "Bet you could get the flames to move right?"

She waved as Merlin left, hoping he wasn't leaving because she'd walked over. She noted the dirty blonde haired boy look up and blush at her. She didn't understand why but the sight made her blush too.

"Oh, hello. I'm Niki. Nice to meet you, Magnus." ()

Magnus started laughing so hard at the army of little worms taking the baby to the leader he had tears in his eyes. "You know we could start the comic publication." He tapped the paper and the flames started flickering.

He smiled at Niki. "We're both Ravencalws." Pointing to him and Fade.

“Yup, I’m Fade.” He smiled at Niki () and added. “Nice scarf, they were sold out by the time I got there.” No surprise Fade had been late as he usually was. Looking back down at the comic he admired the wiggling flames. “This is great, but we should probably write out an outline as well.” His mother was an author after all, she would insist an outline be made. ()

She then decided that she should probably go ahead and place her wand in her cloak pocket and take that off too. She wondered if it was warm in the room to anyone else.

Sauvage waved at Niki () as she walked up, welcoming the girl. But then she noticed Fade's () blush as the girl entered the scene. What was that? She looked back and forth between Fade and Niki for a moment then heaved a sigh of releif as Magnus () broke in.

But the...was it jealousy?? Well, whatever she felt, it seemed to subside as Magnus started having a doodle war with Fade. Soon, simply listening to the two boys talk about their drawing was not enough. Sauvage sidled over behind them and dipped her head to see what they were drawing. She made sure her hair didn't land on the paper they were drawing on....but she couldn't help it a few a stray locks fell over Fade's shoulder

Upon hearing Niki's comment that everyone was Slytherin, Sauvage popped her head back up - hopefully, not hair flicking anyone in the face as she did so, and said, "No! I am a 'ufflepuff!" She even raised her hand as she said it. "Not zat I am offended at being called a Sleezarin." Many of her friends were Slytherin. But she was also very proud of being a Hufflepuff. She grinned stupidly at her Hufflepuff pride.

((OOC: ok, so writing Slytherin in a French accent is hecka hard))

() "Oh my! No, please don't be mad. I didn't mean I thought you were Slytherin too, I just meant all the folks I've talked to so far have been." Niki turned bright red in the face and looked worried that she wasn't making a good first impression with anyone. As Sauvage checked out the drawing Niki couldn't help noticing how Sauvage had made sure her hair was blocking the line of sight from Niki to Fade (). Niki thought to herself, I hope she doesn't think I am interested in her boyfriend... Niki wasn't even sure she really liked boys. Niki pushed her glasses up by the bridge of the nose and noticed that she got a whiff of fragrance from Sauvage's hair. It smelled so nice that Niki grinned a little. "Sauvage, are you from France? Did you know there's a town in Texas named Paris? I think there's even a France, Texas, too..." Niki grinned and tried not to look like she was trying to hard to impress or entertain with her trivia.

Sauvage looked puzzled as she watched Niki turn bright red. "No...I just said zat I am not offended. It is okay. Really." Sauvage raised her hands in the way you do to let someone know you mean them no harm. "And, uh, oui. I am from France." At that, Sauvage wondered how long Niki had been present at the workshop. She tried to remember when the young Ravenclaw girl had wandered in but couldn't remember. Then she cocked her head upon hearing the totally random facts Niki was spouting. She must have been nervous. "No, I deed not know that there was a Paris, Texas."

((OOC: the thought that Sauvage could use her hair as a curtain to block Niki's view didn't even actually come to mind. I was just trying to get some more hair action in there haha))

leaned over the table and a strand of her hair fell on Fade’s shoulder, tickling his neck in the process. He twitched a little and bit his lip to keep from laughing, although he was certainly making a silly face trying to hold it in. Suddenly he realized why he had drawn a mango and hastily shoved his old drawing under the flobberworm attack scene. Hoping to high heavens no one else noticed. But who was he kidding, his best friend was a werewolf and had a fantastic sense of smell. As Savauge moved away to exclaim what house she was in, Fade rubbed his neck and let out a small sigh.

It was not until after seeing 's reaction to her trivia that Niki noticed her face was still a little hot from blushing earlier at the thought of having offended yet another fellow student. And then on top of that being distracted by the nice smell of Sauvage's beautiful hair.

Niki looked over at Magnus () and tried to think of something different to say or talk about.. but instead she just looked at the drawing and giggled at the creativity.

((OH! it's totally okay. If that's how your character sees it then that's how they see it - I was just commenting that it was not Sauvage's intention to do that, but that doesn't change how your character might have seen it))

Niki didn't say anything else and there seemed to be a bit of a lull in the conversation, so Sauvage looked back down at the boys , who were still doodling, and shrugged. "Um, so....." She searched for something to say. Then gave she gave up with a sigh and bent back down to see what all progress they had made with the doodle war. She noticed a few other stray papers under the one Magnus and Fade were currently working on and wondered what other things Fade had been drawing.

The new girl was acting more nervous than he was, and that was saying something. Knowing the feeling all too well, Fade tried to alleviate some of the tension. “So you just transferred here?” He asked Niki while admiring her very long and dark hair. Although he didn’t let his gaze linger for too long. Poor thing was probably sick of answering that question. Most of Fades attention was still on the comic and he began fidgeting with his pencil a bit. There was this sweet scent in the air that was just so incredibly distracting. ((@/sauvage @/raven ~ had to edit a typo X3 ))

"Yeah we should write up a story to go with it... Maybe the big bloke got lycanthrope from a werewolf boy on accident? And then started brainwashing the normally docile worms, corrupting their nature and leading them to attack the school--the werewolf boy never knew 'e 'armed the flobberworm, but the worm was out for vengeance-- vengeance on the boy and wizarding kind itself."

"Thanks," Magnus said to Nikki, "me family wants me to consider being a professional artist after 'Ogwarts."

"The sorting 'at thought about Hufflepuff for me, but ended on selecting Gryffindor, then Ravenclaw. I'm wondering if it'll change me to either remaining 'ouse."

Sauvage did more hair action and the mango suddenly made sense again. Magnus gave a smile as he saw Fade slip his picture under the attack scene. He was so going to have to teach his friend how to flirt better.

(nah, Poppy its cool. RP is living. Things often don't go the way I think, but its part of the fun...and everyone can't be smiles all the time. Hence one of the reasons Magnus has some inner issuse that he struggles with despite being peppy.)

"Yeah, I was a student at Ilvermorny School, but my dad is in the army. So we got moved here, and I transferred to continue my studies here at Hogwarts." Niki answered. ()

"wow", Niki said to Magnus. "You have such an awesome imagination." she smiled starting to feel more comfortable and like maybe she hadn't made a fool of herself.

Magnus laughed. "Do I?" he asked joking with an innocent look that fooled no one. "Okay, I admit, I kinda do. But 'elps pass the time during subjects I 'ate... like divination and astronomy. And do you like it 'ere?"

Sauvage bobbed her head up when she heard Niki mention being a transfer student as well - and from Ilvermorny! " What year are you now?" She asked. "And, 'ow long deed you attend Ilvairmorny before you came to 'ogwarts? I 'ave only been at 'ogwarts for just over a year now."

She then patted Magnus's head as Niki's praised his drawing abilities. "Careful now, Niki. Eef you compliment 'im too much then 'e will get... Um," she bit her lip, stuck on the language translation. "In French, eet eez called une grosse tête, so...in English eet eez...a fat 'ead? Does zat sound right?" She looked back and forth at the students around her to confirm.

((OOC: I'm low key really worried that I'm going to break the "english only" rule for RPing here, but it's really hard when I've got a character whose first language isn't English. Can I trust ya'll to tell me if I get too French on this?))
