Magnus looked up as the board was slipped out from his hands. Church? He had a sudden image of a bunch of vampires congregating in the church, praying and snacking on the parishioners. The scene made him laugh, albeit a with a slightly manic overtone. "Uh, yeah that's fine, you can pray," he said putting the food into trays and then onto a wagon.
(he sorta heard lol but not paying attention well.) ( you can take the wagon if you wanna back to the school, to the kitchens)
Paddy looked at Magnus who seemed to be getting more and more distracted, although she wasn't certain if that was the effect of the upcoming full moon, or the calming draught. "I'll take the food back to the kitchens for you," she said, gently prising his hand from the wagon handle, "you concentrate on getting everything else packed away."

"K," Magnus said with a hair more focus. "Don't forget to tickle the leaf on the picture to get into the kitchens." He looked around the tent again, trying to keep his focus. Oh, yes, clearing up... the floor shouldn't go...whilst everyone was standing on it. So he started tapping chairs to return them to the charms room--at least he hoped that's where they were going. It would be a terrible bath if chairs and stuff started falling onto a person whilst they were starkers. Actually even clothed that wouldn't be overly fun...
(OOC LMAO !!))

Eirik just stared at Magnus when he mentioned "Pray, " WTF he thought...? But Magnus seemed to be returning chairs to...the gods knew where. So he decided to be the official well wisher.
"Can I have your attention everyone..? Thank you for coming, We hope to see you again, this way to the door, thank you...." he said, motioning for people to leave. "Have a good night, bye now, good to see you.." went the various goodbyes to people as they left.

Chase leapt from the boy's shoulders and slunk out of sight. Fade stood, stretched, and walked over to Magnus () where he silently started to help pickup. The entire display had been exhausting to witness, but he felt selfish for feeling that way and wanted to try and comfort his friend. Although he admired Magnus for attempting to broach the more controversial topics, Fade felt like it was time to chill out on all that. It wasn’t like a bunch of kids were going to be able to change the minds of anyone. Most people were just sort of rotten and Fade had come to terms with it a long time ago. Maybe he was being a defeatist.
“So uh, I taught Uni a trick, been meaning to show you.” Uni of course was the plush unicorn Magnus had given Fade for christmas. It wasn’t the coolest thing, but maybe it would get the other boys mind off the unpleasantries of the workshop. “Remind me to show you later, or actually.” He pulled a crumpled bit of parchment out of his pocket and quickly scrawled something on it before stuffing it unceremoniously back from whence it came. “I’ll remember.” He could tell Magnus wasn’t in any state to go remembering much else. Brushing some crumbs off a table he swept the rest into a pile and off the side of the pavilion. It really was a nice day to be outdoors.
There were a number of questions on his mind, but time and place dictated he keep them to himself for the time being.
Bartley Lee emerged from the woods, entering the pavilion and drawing Magnus into a quick hug. He could sense his son's struggles and decided it was time to appear. Bart nodded to Paddy. "How are you?" he asked. He knew who had to be saying goodbye, based on the brief tellings of Mimsy.
Magnus' face brightened seeing his dad and having the hug. "Okay," he said shrugging his shoulders, "I guess."
"Did you?" Magnus asked Fade, "cool. I'd like to see 'em."
"Fade," Bartley said, "nice to see you. Hey, there's a faint white, silver streak in your hair. That's pretty neat." (assuming its there still.)
( anyone else still left in the tent)

Eirik continued his good byes while keeping an eye on Magnus. It looked like one of his friends was over there now. He was surprised to see someone entering the tent, though, someone he didn't know. Eirik watched him walk in, there was something different about this guy...and not just how he looked, which, Eirik had to admit, was very pleasing to the eyes...in a purely artistic way. He realized he was staring, and was glad he still had his sunglasses on.
He saw the man hug Magnus, and then he recognized the scent from earlier...this was his Father. Eirik nodded, and returned his attention to the leaving guests, still keeping one eye on Magnus's dad. He looked forward to meeting him later on tonight, and spending the night as well....talking !! Eirik blushed, and looked away, trying to focus on his task at hand, but getting very distracted. I could have sworn his eyes were gray...people don't have gray eyes very often...they were so fierce...

Magnus' dad went over to Eirik. "Hello," he said in a rather calm, mild tone. "I've gotten word you wish to speak with me, so I have made arrangements for my auror friend to come with us. He'll be watching both you too... you know, as a precaution."

Eirik watched the man approach him, and listened to him speak. "Yes, yes...I look forward to talking with you later tonight, and of course, I understand...can't be too safe." he said, feeling like a complete idiot, still staring at him. And his smell, Eirik tried not to obviously inhale deeply...he was intoxicating. Gods, I hope that's not his blood I am attracted to....I want to just...yeah. He pushed the daydream away and blinked. "So I'll be seeing you later on then..?" he said, and smiled.

Bart nodded. "That is fine." Bartley waved his wand and everything that needed to be packed up started packing themselves up. Within a few moments, only the pavilion was remaining. Bart went and stood in the corner, waiting patiently.

Eirik watched Magnus's dad take care of just about everything with a wave of his wand. Ok, no excuses left then. He walked over to Magnus and said " I will see you later, ok..?" He gave him a gentle pat on the shoulder. " You did good, take it easy."
Eirik walked out, nodding at the gray eyed man, and into the cold air outside. He was going to need a walk in the woods after this, and a smoke.

Fade was glad to see Mr.Lee again, he just made things feel safe. But there was always something about the man that caused Fade to simply stop and stare. Maybe it was because his own father was so ordinary by comparison. By the look on Eirik’s face he wasn’t the only one who had this problem. Wait, was the other boy blushing? Shrugging it off Fade grinned up at Bartley and tugging on a strand of his hair blushed a bit himself. “Yeah, dumb isn’t it? Can’t get it to change no matter what. Mom says it’s a birthmark or somethin. But the rest is gettin easier. Kinda… Maybe.” His eyes found the floor and sort of lurked there. ( & )
(hehe cos Barty's half fae xD so exotic )
"K, later," the boy said. Magnus nodded as he started feeling more himself, especially with his father there exuding calmness. Bart smiled, "how is that dumb? I thinks its fantastic. I think its a mark... of magic. You've been blessed. And no doubt if you know how it happened, when it happened, it likely will show you what blessed you. At least that's my belief." He ruffled the boy's hair fondly.
Fade considered Mr.Lee’s suggestion about his birthmark and shrugged. “Well there was a few months where all my hair went sort of silver.” He grew fidgety not wanting to admit what had set him off. Not that everyone didn’t know already... “But the bits in front still never changed.” It could be a blessing or a curse. Maybe put on him because of what his mother had done in her youth. From what little she shared about her side of the family, it wouldn’t really surprise Fade. Still, he appreciated Mr.Lee putting a positive spin on it. Instinctively he ducked out from under the hair ruffling and grinned not bothering to smooth it back down.
“So it’s still a little early for the moon and stuff.” He glanced outside even though the daylight and pavilion roof made it impossible to see the moon. “Got any cool fifth year spells to teach us?” Clearly his mischievous nature was itching to be let out.
(( lol I'm bad at ending stuff, leme know when to stop XD))
Bartely laughed when Fade ducked and again when the cheeky boy asked for an advanced spell. He rubbed his facial hair. "Hmm..." he considered, "how about a spell to grow vines--you could get into all sorts of mischief with that."
Bart showed them the wand movements and told them of the incantation. Then demonstrated with a vine crawling around Magnus' leg. "Say it backwards and the vines will descend. Its my own spell... and yes, the vines would be safe to climb on."
(lol no worries we can get another post or two in ;) unless its locked lol. )
“Wicked!” Fade’s eyes got big and he pulled out his wand to mimic the movements. Sure he had a pile of homework back at the dorm, but writing essays on magical theories was never as much fun as practical application. It took more tries than he would have liked, but eventually he got a small vine to creep across the floor and reach up one of the pillars. Saying the spell backwards however, he fumbled his words and the vine started to grow fatter instead. He tried again and it began to whither instead of retract. Making a face at the vine he tried again and was finally able to get it to slowly begin to reverse its crawl. Clearly he wouldn’t be summoning any beanstalk proportion vines to escape the tower at night any time soon.
It was entrancing to be able to learn magic from someone other than a professor. Quietly in his heart he looked forward to the day his mother would teach him some of her own spells. Although that day seemed very far away. Whenever he thought about it he got sort of sad. Instead he beamed up at Mr.Lee. "Thank you! If anyone asks I swear I won't tell." This vine spell got the wheels turning and he was already thinking up ways to scare the girls later on.
OOC: Sorry that I dropped off in this RP! I fell behind and then couldn't catch up because I was working on some other things here on Subeta. Poppy basically leaves with a deeper respect for Magnus but continued unease about the rights of house elves.

Bart laughed saying, "It's not like I can get detention now. But I suspect you might be having a good amount of fun with that spell. Come to our place in July, I'll teach ya some more spells. Get Stella to show you some Holly Head Harpy moves." ( no worries, I totally understand -snugs-)
