Eirik chuckled and messed up Magnus's hair. "Cheeky wolfling," he said with a smile. "And no, it's not wrong that is sounds like fun, " he called after the departing boy. "I will be there in a minute."

Eirik waited until Magnus and Aria had headed back into the tent. He knew that Merlin was about but it was ok that he was there.

Eirik bared his teeth and focused all of his anger into a strike at a dead tree. He tore out a huge chunk of it, then repeated the action with his other hand. Willing himself to calm down, he took out his flask and drank deeply, emptying it a few times. Once his breathing had stopped again, and he was back to normal, he wiped his mouth and returned his flask to his jacket.

Picking tree bark out from under his nails, he slowly walked back to the pavilion, and took his seat as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened.

He smiled at Kyros. "Good to see you paying attention, " he said with a chuckle.

Magnus nodded. "I'm okay. I don't go ta classes during the moon cycle cos it weakens me and I sleep a lot but I didn't shift. 'Side's there ain't much else anyway. Though..." he said plopping himself in a chair, "I fink I'll sit just the same. Thanks for taking over, Kyros, really appreciate it man."

Eirik stayed behind and the boy could hear some faint blows but he wouldn't say anything. Inwardly he did sigh. Things weren't overly simple at times.

After the situation seem to be under control, Merlin relaxed and sent Spellz for a flight. "We need so much to learn." He sighs and decided to stay close until the workshop officially ended. "At least I don't have any assignment to finish."

[edit] He heard noises and spotted Eirik destroying a tree, and was about to say something but decided not to get between Eirik's anger and that poor tree. "I wish I could heal that tree after." Since the tree was in bad condition, or better yet almost dead, he ignored it and sat down.

Eirik sat for a couple of minutes, then decided to head up to the snack table. The day seemed long, and he was now hungry. He selected a few things, and came back to sit, pulling out some of the treats Mimsy had given him. He sighed, and felt guilty, he was sure she hated him now. Maybe some day she would understand, but he thought that would be far into the future.

He watched the students, trying to get an idea of just what the atmosphere was currently in the pavilion. He wondered just how people viewed him now, but he wasn't overly concerned...only as to how it would affect their reactions later when he talked again about non human's rights.

He made a mental note to get that room ready for the Council and their guests...so much to do. He ate quietly.

Magnus moved nervously feeling the tension in the pavilion. He watched warily as Eirik procured treats. Magnus didn't feel hungry at all. He felt embarrassed--tired, and who knows what else. He knew his father would show up at Hogwarts in an hour or so. Especially with him having dismissed Mimsy and how upset the elf was. Yes, his father would come--ask what happened. He sighed inwardly, looking at no one in particular. If he wasn't the captain he would have left.

Eirik made it a point to keep an eye on Magnus, but not make it look like he was keeping an eye on him. He was worried about the boy...he looked tired and worn out, but that could have been from the calming potion. He decided that he would hang around after the workshop was done, and help him get everything torn down and put away, it was the least he could do. Maybe they could talk more then, too...he hoped that he would still be allowed to interview his father at the full moon time, and he wanted to be sure that was still a go. He could totally understood if it wasnt.

Eirik chuckled quietly and stood up. "Ok, everyone, now that I have demonstrated the wrong way to go about making a point, would anyone like to show us how to do it the right way...? " he said, with a smile. "Anyone at all, it can't get much worse than what's already transpired, " he said, with a small laugh.

A cracking sound made Magnus jump but it wasn't Mimsy; it was a letter from his father which fell into his lap. Mimsy must have apperated it to him.

Son, Mimsy is okay. She told me tensions were getting high and is concerned. I just arrived in the forest. Mimsy apperated me. I'll stay out of sight unless I feel you need assistance, though it looks like the other students are helping and things are under control.

Magnus folded the letter up and put it in his pocket. At least he would be able to talk to his father after the workshop was over. The boy sighed again. He was so tense.

Eirik's joke got a mild chuckle from him.

Eirik heard the crack and looked toward the source of the sound. He saw a letter fall into Magnus's lap, and watched the boy read it. His body language gave off tension, and he was concerned, hoping that things hadn't gotten worse.

After making his announcement, and getting no immediate takers, Eirik sighed, then walked over to Magnus. He bent down and spoke quietly to him. "I am going to take a short break, Magnus..maybe people will talk once I have left. Just going to go and have a smoke by the water, won't be long. If it's cool with you, of course...and after the workshop ends, I want to help get things put away...I feel it's the least I can do after, well, you know."

"You don't 'ave to go, if you don't wanna. But its cool if you wanna. Dad's 'ere. 'E's concealed at the mo, but watching. Yeah thats fine, if you wanna."

Eirik smiled."Its ok, I need to smoke...its just one of those things. He is..? oh..ok, well...I know things will be fine while I am gone then, not that you couldn't handle it," he added quickly. He gently patted Magnus on the shoulder, then headed outside.

He sighed, and listened carefully for a heartbeat as he dug into his jacket pocket for his cigarettes. Satisfied, he made his way to the water's edge, and sat down on the rock he had taken a break on earlier, and lit his cigarette. He relaxed, and tried not to let the events of the day get to him.

Looking down at his moonstone pendant, he wondered when the last time was he had cleansed it. It always helped to keep him calm. Taking it off, he lowered it carefully into the lake water, and let the waves cleanse it while he smoked.

"You afraid I'm gonna wolf out?" he asked not sure he wanted the reply. Then he said, "See ya," as the other boy retreated.
He was torn, on the one hand seeing his father a day early was a bonus as far as he was concerned and on the other hand Magnus wasn't sure what he wanted. Internally he swore as he stood. It had been a long day and he needed to dispel some energy himself though that would have to wait.

Eirik carefully dried off his pendant once he was sure the energies felt different and slipped it around his neck. He immediately felt calmer, and reprimanded himself internally to put that cleansing on a schedule.

He finished his smoke, pocketed his cig butt, then did a clean on himself. Sighing, he stood up and looked out over the water once more, before turning and heading back inside the pavilion.

It didn't feel like things had improved since he had left, and he sighed inwardly as he took his seat.

Eirik never replied and Magnus had a sinking feeling that the other teen was indeed worried about him turning. As far as Magnus knew that wasn't possible for him to turn so early--but then again he hadn't been a werewolf for long and had a lot to learn. Eirik returned from his smoke though he didn't seem to be much calmer to Magnus.

The boy sighed. He was struggling so hard to keep going. He was so stressed out from yet another club/workshop going to hades in a lovely hand basket. The more the boy thought of it the more he thought his topics were doomed. Sure, he had a penchant for picking more questionable topics but he honestly didn't believe that the house elf topic would go south. Now he just knew it--he'd pick flobberworms and then they'd storm the castle and set it on fire. He wonder how long of detentions he'd get for that? Would they make him come back to serve those after he graduated? The boy massaged his temples but it didn't do much to help.

Erirk saw his friend was distressed, so he decided to help. He stood up. "Alright, any last questions..? This has been a long day, and I am sure that we could all use a break...so..if its ok with Magnus, how about we wrap this up in the next few minutes, thank our host and take our leave..? Places to go, homework to do, and all that."

What he wanted to say was get the F out, cant you see Magnus needs some time away from everyone..?

He remained standing, to wrap up the last questions so they could leave. Not that he was leaving, of course.

"I can't speak for Magnus, but I think that's a good idea, Eirik," she replied, glancing at Magnus. "I'll lend a hand in tidying up if you want, Magnus," she added, "but I can understand if you'd like some space to yourself." She had a little bit of homework to finish before heading to the Hospital Wing before the moon rose, but there'd be plenty of time to help tidy things up first.

Eirik gave Paddy a small smile, then looked back to Magnus, waiting for the boy to make the decision to end the workshop or not.

Magnus took a moment to reply, he hadn't really heard either of them and was a little preoccupied. "Alright," he said with a sigh, "yeah it's probly for the best. Plus anyone can still ask questions or chat as I start clearing up." Then he shook his head to Paddy. "Nah but thanks."

Eirik walked closer to Magnus, and bent down to talk quietly to him. "What do you need done, Magnus..? I can take care of this in seconds...just tell me what you want me to do."

Magnus picked up the bulletin board. Holding it and staring off into the woods. What did he need doing? "Oh, erm..." he replied as he saw the board in his hands. It was bowing as he held it in the steely grip. He didn't remember picking it up.

Eirik gently took the bulletin board from Magnus's hands, and set it down. He gave him an understanding look. "How about you thank you guests for coming...maybe stand by the door and shake their hand or something like how they do in church with the pastor and stuff...? That will encourage them to move on, and I can start putting away the chairs, packing up the food, things like that.. " He looked concerned. "Little wolf, did you hear me..?" he asked gently.
