Yes, precisely, I love the blush on BJD. It just won't be on the feet/fingers/nose and it's not really in a color we have. Mainly cause I'm scared if I do the nose, I'll mess like obliterate the blush from it while softening up the edges and color. ;w; I'm pretty particular about blush colors since I'm so pale and a makeup user, so I'm hoping this will turn out well.

None of my dolls have body blushing, since I don't have "true" bjds, but I've seen so many and love it. It would be a nice addition here! The sneak peek is appreciated and looks good, very soft and pretty as opposed to the one I have on that is quite bright. It doesn't necessarily need the nose done, it looks nice just on the cheeks.

She sure does! She's 12 though, such a rough age. Just young enough to know everything, you know? Fortunately she gets a lot of leeway to be herself so we don't really butt heads too much. I have some MH dolls. I collect articulated playdolls. I have a bookcase full lol. I have MH, Ever After High, Barbie Fashionistas - I don't have a Made To Move yet, but I am dying for one - Bratzillaz, Winx Club and my favorite, Liv dolls. I had a full set of ZeenieDollz too, but I broke one so I packed them all away. I also have a bunch of hybrids and mods I did myself, just head transplants onto Liv bodies from Bratz and MC2 dolls, a few eye transplants, basic stuff. That's just some of my dolls, though, and I will wind it up here or I'll run on and on about dolls.

Oh watching repaints is fun. Watching any doll modding is fun for me though. I did do a body transplant on one of my Jun Planning dolls, well, actually I did three on her - one to a body that didn't support her head, one to a body that gave her a giraffe neck and one back to a fresh copy of her original body. What a failure that venture turned out to be but hey, I learned from it. You could get a tiny corner shelf for the wall and perch dolls on it! Or sit one on the headboard of the bed. There is always room for at least one doll. 8)

Yeah. I'll keep working on it. I wish that stuff didn't have to work on both bases, so I could just have the very soft, light blush and then a slightly darker one that looked like pink-tinged ashes on a darker base but oh well.

Avatar making can be a journey lol. Play around in the wardrobe is the best advice I can give. It can be a lot of trial and error in the process but it'll get easier.

-sigh- The problem with Sulli (the doll in question) is that I want her to appear juvenile, like her original body. The Obitsu body would have been great, if it were slightly bigger...but the slightly bigger body has huge boobs. No dice. Then I paid for a Pureneemo and man! Are they nice...but Giraffe Neck™ plus her head kept literally popping off when I'd try to pose her so I was afraid it would break. So she's back on a Pullip Dal body with all its inherent flaws and I am just super careful with her, like I am with all the other stock bodies.

Is there a bathroom cabinet? Perch one there. I am sure your man will learn to love it when he's in there! :P

It is a journey. I look back at some of my older avatars at other places and can see obvious growth. I am sure it will be the same here. I keep opening the wardrobe and getting discouraged. I will have to muddle through it and mess around more to get a feel for my items a bit.

It was a lot of work but in the process I learned a lot about modding neck pegs and how to take wigs off and sand skulls and take the heads apart. I feel like someday I might mod Averie, Sulli's "big sister" who DOES have a mature body and can thus go on the bigger Obitsu body and look just fine. I just love the articulation on them and the plug-in hand changeable hands.

I think it will be worth it! I have faith in you!!

The slight irony is that doll wig making is similar to human wig making 😂 Human wig making is more complex, but doll wigs are more intricate because of the scale. The changeable hands are wonderful; stuff like Tamashi Nation action figures use them so you can swap parts across the board.

I have changed the wigs on my Dal, Sulli and my Byul, Opal. The wigs came from Dollmore and are very nice, silicone wig caps and all. They came from a set of dolls I ordered and hated. Seems I prefer dolls that are not strung. I have those packed away too, a pure waste of money considering all I get from them is their wigs and eyes. ):

I love the changeable hands from Obitsu and Azone! So many different poses and even gripper hands to hold stuff. Opal has an arm transplant from the Obitsu body I had tried on Sulli and is using a gripper hand to hold a tiny Barbie laptop prop. So cute!

Separate items would work, too, why not? I believe you'll work it out. ^^

Yeah! Its great because you can plug in different words like a specific color (onyx), words (pearl) and see all the items with either of those in their names. A lot of stuff will be like 1k to maybe 30k in retires, not too, too much is crazy expensive as far as I know. Some colors/rarities of common wears will also be insanely priced, bleh!

Figures are a lot of fun too, I've looked at them and the problem is once I start looking? I want them all, full sets of characters. I'm such a sucker for anything doll-like. I rescued two vintage toddler dolls, too. I check yard sales and thrift shops for dolls and figures and parts to go with them. Like the toddler dolls can wear a dress I got from a beat-up china doll at a thrift store for a couple of bucks.
