, - retreat is not actually what we call it but a way for me to try to describe it .. but that's why I said intensive. Normally, we all work separately and it's hard for us to get certain things done without getting together, so we have quarterly intensive work meetings in which we accomplish tasks as a team that we can't otherwise accomplish. We use the occasional weekend to do this (because we can't get it done mid-week). We most often go somewhere practical, but no matter where we go, we are working in a small event room in a hotel all day for several days in a row and taking group meals (we like the social time too, because we don't always get that either, and several members of the team travel pretty constantly as part of their job, which sounds romantic, I know, but is really best described as lonely (and where the weather is always seventies and florescent). This give us a chance to get to know each other better as well. The company always tries to make things palatable, but as an extra thank you, every few years, we choose a hotel that happens to be somewhere a little warmer for the winter quarterly and a little more interesting for the night or two we will go out. We do work really hard, which is appreciated, and it is really nice to make it fun once ever few years, and we all appreciate it. I feel very lucky, yes, and it's nice to have that feeling to inspire one to make the most out of one's job (because, lol, by nature, I'm lazy as all git out ;) )

Still even though your working at lease you can still enjoy the weather & sights when you have time.You work for a very nice company.Your not lazy,sounds to me your a very hard worker :D It's probably exciting at first to travel all the time,then when the excitement wears off Lonely.I don't think I would like to travel alone.

I can't believe they couldn't find your address.I'm so sorry you didn't get the "Su Merce album" you liked =( I would try again if you can to reorder it.Can you pick it up at the post office,instead of them trying to find where you live? I'd have them hold that package for you =) or order it at a store, have them call you when it's delivered to the store & you go pick it up, Maybe if you can that is =) You have your own style of songs you like to listen too,there is nothing wrong with that My Friend hug =)

I normally avoid big crowds (like parade crowds - we actually didn't realize that we were going to be in NOLA for a parade). So I have never been, as I recall, anywhere after a parade. I guess it's "normal," and it was cleaned up by the morning, but I have never in my whole life seen trash like that. It might as well have been literally stunning, because we stared at the mess in ... well, in shock. I would never have imagined it accurately, and there is no way to describe it without it sounding exaggerated ... but when I think about it as an image, I see your phrase as the caption now. :)
