Yes, a pizza oven just has a different layout. Cooking outdoors over a fire just makes thing more inviting. A lifetime of that with older relatives just shows that sometimes a break is all you need.

How Blessed you are! I have 2 living siblings and we don't visit each other all that much. My brother who lives about 80 minutes drive away only comes with carefully orchestrated invitations, which I am not good at. My sister used to stop by for 5 minutes on her way in or out with her husband (they used to live nearby, and her husband still has a business locally). They last visited in December after an official invitation I extended in October... ...sigh... You are very lucky, even if their kids seem like little monkeys at this point...

If you go to your personal at the top of this page, hoover over it 4 down is your vault hoover over that ,at the right is item under that--> currencies, click it. You should be on the page where all your subeta points are =) Now if you look under your subeta points,you should see different Year-Round Currencies like -->Wizard Tokens--Recycle Points--Forum Tickets,look under that at the bottom of the description you can go to a shop to spend your Raffle tickets =) check out the other Catagories also they are very helpful.To me at least =) It not only tells you how many of each thing you have in that Catagory to spend,but it takes you to were you can spend them :D

I'll be on for some time tonight, I got surprised with a visit from my mother. Her and her laundry, the entire month's worth.

Your mom does her laundry at your place so she can stay as long as possible :) You are lucky. Even if she drives you nuts, enjoy.

We spent the whole night, and well into the next day drying on the clothesline. Fortunately is was in the 80s. And these antics can only get more frequent, Both my mother and brother are wanting to move back into my house. Figures, we grew up here, and its kinda empty now. My brother wants to have more convenient access to his upcoming change of jobs, and my mother will be retiring in July.

So why not, the rooms are just aching to be occupied, and it'll be a nice change to come to have someone there when we all have nowhere to go.

Please excuse delayed responses. :) I've been on a working weekend with my company; a few times per year, we have work retreats (what might better be called work intensives, lol!), so meetings/work all day and group meals and some social time together. We are a very small company, and every few years, we are treated to one of these retreats in a fun, interesting place and have a nice group outing. A few years ago, we got to have the meeting in San Antonio and we went on a tour of the Alamo, a few years before that, we worked in Nashville and spent an evening at the Grand Ole Opry. This weekend, we are in New Orleans (we took in a haunted history tour - it is very interesting here!) and as it happens, tonight was the beginning of the Mardi Gras partying. It opens with a parade called the Krewe de Vieux, some of which we got to see. I have been discovering the foods of New Orleans and I must say this much: YUM! Usually when I mostly disappear from gaming for a few days, I have much more boring reasons. :) This was pretty exciting, and I'm feeling super thankful for a nice experience in a place that I have never been before. I would like to come here when it is less crowded, and really get a chance to see more of Louisiana. And eat more! :)
