, lol i'm talking to you over here, instead of the bday thread :D you said you were going to go and visit your family next week. that's great! i realized i haven't seen my family for 2 years now. i miss the aunts and my cousins. but yah. it was really nice to spend the time with my girl. i couldn't believe we talked for like 6 hours straight!! lol (and i've got her cooking her own food!! this week she made her first "soup". it was "vegetarian", but it looked really good from the pictures i saw)

Haha yeah I am just visiting my immediate family this go around. Mom and dad are very happy to have me home. Mom made me my two favorite dishes to bring back, I am so happy :D I can't believe the week is already almost over. Time goes by so fast. It has been a fun trip, but too short.

oh no. that's not true. when i was younger, my other aunt cooked, and now, my cousin has started cooking for himself. (because of health issues)

long story short

• There was this 500 year old prophecy about the return of a pure white weasel who would do something epic, like give everybody gold-plated cookies or magical kisses.
• There was an evil cult who saw the prophecy as a curse that would further subjugate the lower classes of our culture or steal their cookies.
• When I was born, I remained pure white through three molts and into my adolescence. It was deemed that my existence fulfilled all the many obscure requirements of the prophecy. (What the writers of the prophecy saw in a scrawny flighty little thing like me, I'll never know. Maybe the prophecy was a result of drinking too much absinth or lead poisoning.)
• The cult sent murders to kill me shortly after that when I began my work as a healer)
• One of my attackers was killed in my room by his own paw. I was blamed by the cult leader at my trial.
• I was 'thrown under the bus' by the Woodland Council to appease the cult leaders in an attempt to avert civil war and I was banished into the wilderness to die. (our culture doesn't execute free creatures....but still....it's a death sentence anyway....pure rhetoric gone wrong.)
• I didn't die.
• Civil war erupted anyway, it was inevitable because the cult leader was totally wicked and wanted more then my death, he wanted all the cookies, gold-plated or not.
• Spoilers and some spoilers and some more spoilers follow.
• Weldon and I get Married, which is like a really big no duh.
• I'm being facetious about the cookies.

Somewhere in all that was the episode in my early-adolescence, when I was in apprenticeship training to become a healer. I really really really screwed up and stole my Master's diary so that I could decode it and learn the secrets to passing my level I exams on the first try, unlike anybody else before me. After I was caught, I was stripped naked and banished from Healer's Hall and sent to the gardens to work for the six summer months. Boy did I learn my lesson! But after the initial blisters healed, I rather enjoyed the hard work. It was quiet, I was outside all day, I got strong (smelling! HA!!) and I came to appreciate the fact that was growing food to feed our community. Oh, I got reinstated.

Thank goodness there are no classes on Sundays! It's a section from last week that is due tonight and since I work during the weekend, I have no energy to do the assignment after work. Sundays are my days to work on it. Thankfully not too many problems.

Oh! Grapefest is coming up this next weekend 14-17 (i think thursday-sunday) I'm only working Thursday and Friday and then going to enjoy either on Saturday or Sunday with Eric. Just think... all the wine!

Grapefest sounds like a lot of fun. I hate being so far away for small things like that. This area sucks hardcore. Everything they do is pretty much for kids or ethnic specific which is flat out obnoxious and rude.

I'll go to class on Saturdays (which I have), but that's it. I need a day of rest of life haha! I'm, hoping, working Thursday and Friday during Grapefest and told the manager I'm not able to on Saturday and Sunday. All I got was a "Got it. Thanks." as a reply, so just waiting to see if she puts me for the hours I'd like.

Tell Levi that y'all are going on an impromptu road trip haha :D That bites that your area doesn't do stuff like that. Every town should have something that caters to everyone, not just a certain group or peoples.

hugs I was actually thinking about you today. I saw this calico kitten in my apartments parking lot and I was like I wish Gerty lived close by! :D lol I fed the skinny thing some can food and then ran off before it could figure out which apartment I'm in. I feel sorry for the little booger, but I think I'm at my limit with two cats in a one bedroom. I haven't seen you post hot pics in a while so I'll share one of my hot old man with you. :P

I have WAY to many kitties. I looked into the local shelter to try to find them homes, but they are so over crowded with kitties and basically most kitties stay there in cages for long long long times :( I couldn't handle that. Then my fear of Craigslist or something is some redneck hillbilly going to use them as bait cats to train their dogs or something :( I DO have a plan in mind but it is a long way from being a reality. At least over a year. I am going to get a roommate (that knows about the cats and likes cats). AND share bills for the next year. I figure out right now in just house bills, I spend by myself $700-1000 a month. With someone that would go in half. That half I can put into a a savings account. PLUS my car payment goes away in 6-7 months (March). So that is another $200 a month to put away. I figure in a year I could have at least $5000 put aside. I plan at that time going to a realtor and seeing about possibly getting a home and land with a nice down payment. IF my friend and I get along we could possibly go into that together too. I REALLY want land so I can start a sanctuary type thing. Let the kitties run free. :) GOALS. fingers crossed

Oh wow that sounds awesome! :D If I got my own place I'd want a catio, but that would be really nice to provide a sanctuary for them. Then when you get enough cats you can start charging people to come over and get kitty assaulted like that place I think in England maybe? Yeah I think my old man retired too lol. Every once in a while I'll see him playing a Dad in some Disney movie, but that's about it. Well at least I still have Vin Diesel to look at. ❤
