Yeah I think a lot of people kind of lump Austrian cuisine in with German cuisine. Of course they're similar, but there are a few things that originated there like the kaiserschmarrn, sachertorte, wienerschnitzel, and other things that I can't pronounce :P

I think the Austro-Hungarian Empire influenced the unique food there. Viennese royalty had something do with it too I guess, because they really liked to eat well 😆

Banners? I took my ad blocker off for subeta and I still don't see banners. I guess because I still have a GA? Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of cream cheese but I do get cravings for it at times and have to get flavored stuff and plain bagels.

I haven't been to Trader Joe's in a while. The closest one is a half hour away over the mountain in Charlottesville (the same place that has been trending on FB). I don't know what calamata is and I don't like olives. :/

For the last 5 years my landlord for most part leaves me alone. Only pestering once or twice a year to change me heating and air filter. But the past 2 months he has been a pest. And has been rather upsetting to me. Hence why the sudden feel of needing a roommate for money reasons. I can get out faster.

does he have the hots for you? just wondering. and yah. with a roommate, no more of that walking from one to the other in only a towl. heh. but it IS the way (if you say the roommate is reliable) for the saving easier.

I am always very guarded with what I say to coworkers. Especially about personal matters! You never know who will turn on you and it's not like they are life long friends after all. But I do think it's good to go out and have fun :)

Is it just the one bathroom and hopefully its lockable, otherwise you may have to put a hanger on the door to say "Occupado!" if you're in the shower and can't hear roommate at the door. LOL though I've had some of the funniest most random conversations in situations like that. Maybe he's the kind of roommate that just chills in his room or he's always out, is he super social?

Its always a good idea to be cautious, Mistress. You never know if the person you're venting to is a family member, if they're on the same softball team or attend the same church. I've seen that happen where I work, a co-worker will be complaining about another person to the person's cousin and friend I'm trying to shush them and cousin is laughing

Down in the Valley, the CupCakery makes a waffle cupcake. The cake part tastes just like buttermilk waffles. The icing is a buttercream made with real maple syrup and it is topped with maple-cured bacon crumbles. It is to die for. Weldon says that he is pleased that you like the recipe.

Actually, right now, things are nonexistent between us. He said something the last time we spoke that just.....I'm sick of it. It wasn't his first time saying that particular thing either. This was like his third. Whenever I get seriously angry with him or we have an argument (I rarely get angry with him and I usually have a reason when I do) he says "Well, do you want to break up?"

Again, this is the third bloody time he asked this. There is no trying to work things out, seeing what can be done on both sides, trying to understand....just asking that. I pointed that out to him--does he even find me worth it at all? He replied with things like "I love you, but everything seemed to go downhill after I went back to my parents' place, you are always unhappy when you're on the phone with me.....it will take a miracle to fix this." Also, ever since he went back (he was staying with me for several months after his parents kicked him out) I've been trying to keep in contact with him, go on dates (I didn't care if all we did on the date was walk around window-shopping, I just wanted to spend some time with him) but getting him to text back or agree to a phone call was like pulling teeth. So when he finally responds ages later, of course I'm not going to jump up and down with joy! I told him, only dogs still wag their tail even after aged of neglect. I however, am not a dog. I also told him that I don't ask for romantic overtures or a bloody miracle, just a bit of effort and care. He hasn't responded to that post and that was...hm......perhaps 2 weeks ago?

Breaking up with him is most likely for the best, but it still hurts to think about it. Then again, what if this didn't happen to me? What if someone else, like a close friend, or, if I ever have a daughter, was in this situation? I would most likely tell them that, while they deeply care or love that person, if it feels like staying with them and trying to make things work is sucking out your joy, dignity and peace of mind, it is time to let go.

I told MD with all of the crap going and the fact that I am usually exhausted to the bone, that her taking her medicine for not only her sake but for mine isn't so bad.

It's good that you are talking to your friends again ^_^ You shouldn't feel embarrassed for believing those lies--everyone at one point in time is deceived by another--the key here is that it doesn't last forever. You learn something from that experience. You are wiser, stronger, while that person that person remains a foolish, jaded ball of hate that may never grow or progress. And now, their follies and general horribleness is no longer your concern. The best revenge here is living well <3

An oversized bath towel. The bathroom has a lock. So does both bedrooms. ALTHOUGH I have never quite figured out if they get locked on the inside and you are on the outside how one goes about unlocking it.
Im doing my best to stop the WE in the project so far. but he is insistant. I am leaning towards murder. I have been friends with the person I have been discussing living with for 20 years now. We have several things in common like tv and stuffs. We can NOT ever discuss politics or religion. They like cats (and dogs) . SO we should be okay in most things. PLUS having own space etc would be useful to escape each other.

Hunter is doing okay. He has finished up his antibiotic meds. He will most likely be on the eyedrops for life now tho. He is a bit not liking them. BUT I agree....who wants something being put into an eye.

Yes I am highly thinking of roommate. Been several days and still thinking it a good idea. YES worry about the giving up free space, BUT it makes sense from financial point. Instead of paying $800-900 a month on household things I would be in half. THAT would save me the other half. I think it is a good thing. AND since we are friends we have discussed helping with chores (cleaning, etc) around the place so it doesn't just fall on one person all the time. I think it logical move. It may not be the move I would normally make based on my personal needs/personality. HOWEVER I think at this time I need to put that aside and think about my financial future. I am closing in on 40 and have mostly nothing to show for it. That needs to change. I need to go forward in life. And I have been standing still now for 6 years now since my relationship ended. I have not done anything to progress myself besides simply being able to prove I can be independent and rely on NO ONE to do things for me. I have paid for everything myself these past 6 years with no help. But it has also cost me that I have no money put aside no time off ever from work cus I have to work year round. No money for vacation etc. I need to be able to do things more now. AND a roommate would help my goals. With saving $400 a month aside, plus my car being paid off soon so another $240...so $600 a month. In a year I would have a GOOD size down payment for a home and land. I think that is a good thing to be working towards.

basically would be repeating everything I said above to you. BUT to answer your direct question about hots towards me...I believe there are more then friendship feelings from him. So that would be difficult to navigate. BUT as long as I am clear and stuff it should be okay. He knows I think now that I have no inclination of romance etc towards him. He however may think that moving into the same space may bring about those feelings (I can't 100% say they wont) but that is not something I intend.
