Well when I was out for pizza last night I lost a bonding that was in a back tooth. The dentist told me if it came out again I would need a crown. The good news is that the insurance said they would split it with me. The bad news is it's still $500.00. Should have had the Asian food! LOL

He broke parole for another incident that didn't have to do with this recent trial I was on. He was already going to get 10 years because of it whether or not the murder happened. 20 years was the highest we could go and not every member of the jury liked 20 years, one lady wanted 15 because he has a kid and one more on the way, but it landed on 18.

So funny! I just commented you about food in the other thread and here we are talking about food here!!! Lol!! We had to fix this piece of the attic that fell down DX I have to put up some dishes, put more dishes in the washer and wash the dog lol!! I have ground meat I need to cook not sure what to do with it. and OMG! THERE IS SO MUCH YOU CAN DO WITH THE TOMATOES!!! :( i would SO love to come over and help you cook them! lol

first thing..... cut them up /quarters, half again, largish chunks/ throw them on a cookie sheet pepper, EVOO, bake 25 min 375. (i usually turn the oven off, and let them sit in the hot oven for longer, especially if they're bigger than cherry tomato halves)

(i also break up a head of garlic with them) (heh. and celery. i'll cut them into pieces and add them to the cookie sheet)

found the "20 second peel the garlic" on youtube, and it peels the garlic perfect. then when i take out the sheet, i'll pick out most of the garlic and put them in a small container to use in other things that i cook during the week. then i'll smash a few pieces up, and mix them in with the tomatos and celery.

oh my god. with tuna. i eat a bowl of that stuff, and NOTHING ELSE. or i put it on sandwiches (chicken sandwich, tuna sandwich, peanut butter sandwich..NO! lol not that last one) /ick i don't like peanut butter sandwiches/ :D

ok. for more with the tomatoes. ground the meat. add in some peppers or what ever you have...

cut/shave the bottom off the tomato, (make sure it's still "all together") then cut off the top, and core it (save the insides!! SALSA!) now STUFF THOSE TOMATOES!

lol you can use the hamburger, rice, extra, and stuff, top with bread crumbs. you can stuff with burger, cheese, whatever bake at 375 for ? half an hour?

LOL when i get a chance, i'll find you some recipes with "stuffed tomatoes" for yah. it's really funny, because I SWEAR TO GOD i was JUST THIS MORNING telling the hub, that i needed some "whole large tomatoes" to stuff!!

then of course, you can make your own salsa. AND CAN THEM!! CAN CAN CAN OMG I WISH I COULD DO THAT THIS YEAR.

last year, i was able to do that. it was a lot easier then i thought it would be, and I LOVED having them doing the winter. (didn't last me long! i needed to can more!) :D :D

when ever i wanted "puree" i would pull out a jar, zap it in a blender and have fancy "PUREE' Tomato"

Every time you submit a batch there is a fee associated unless you order the item(s) direct to your CW shop, then it is a flat fee.

and tomato pie YUM ok. the recipe i've seen online, is DIFFERENT THAN what i did.

i took dough (i think i might have used pizza dough, but the first time i used pastry dough, and that was better....i think) :D it's been a year since i've done it.

just spread the dough out leave edges free slice tomatoes (i sliced kind of thin) layer them on the dough took edges and folded them over tomatoes (around the edges, the middle was free) and cooked.

i do almost the same thing when i make "my pizza"

layer tons of mozzarella, tomatoes and some fresh basil (the only thing i have growing besides my house plants) bake

for the tomato pie, i had at least 3/4 layers of tomatoes. (when it was the pastry, the slices were "med size" whatever that means to you. and about 5 layers)

you could put cheese in between layers, if you want. (depending on what you have/like)

and really stuff ANY THING into a tomato.

tuna. burger. ham and cheese. lol

but since y ou said you had the hamburger, i'd do that. maybe make it with "southwest" seasoning (taco, what ever) maybe add some corn with it. (and black beans)

i've been wanting to try it with rice. (like when you stuff peppers)

a meal that i taught my girl for "college living"

is taking left overs.... rice tuna and maybe add some peas to it mix it all together, and eat.

i've would try rice, tuna, any peppers, onion, garlic, whatever veggie type thing i like, stuff the tomato put some panko bread crumbs or parmesan cheese on top (LOTS) and put it in the oven to bake for about 20/30 min. at 350/375. (or till cheese melted and starting to brown)
