I did hear about the female doctor! I am excited! My cable company had a promotional thing last week where they gave you HBO for free because Game of Thrones was starting up again so you could watch the first episode and then buy HBO to watch the rest. I actually had the most pleasant experience with the sales person this weekend to buy into a new contract since my old contract expired yesterday. She got me a really good deal where I am paying a little less than I used to and get more channels!

That sounds like a very delicate situation to be in. Unless it is not a good time to break up (ie: he is in between jobs and not emotionally in a good spot) it may be time to rip off the band-aid. It doesn't sound like he has been very supportive recently, but maybe he was having an off day and that's changed. It sounds like MD is getting older and cranky =/ Do you know if she has chronic pain? My work also takes up a lot of my energy so I understand the feeling. I have been trying to find a new job but no luck so far. I am struggling with it not feeling hopeless that I will find a new one.

Oh dear how can I leave out wet food and have you not eat it straight away?

Omg the concert was AMAZING! Yesterday was the best day I've had in a long time.

: Well...to tell you the truth, I really couldn't tell you where my house is exactly, I live in a place called Glen Meadow. It's a big mountain valley, about 10 miles long and five miles wide and it used to be a large town before the Big Fire. I do know that it used to be the county seat for Sierra County, which is now gone, the courthouse and all county records were destroyed in that 1964 inferno. Any legal documents pertaining to this area are now in Madera County hall of Records or in Mariposa County. I do know that we are somewhere between Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. I think. We're not too far from either Fresno...or is it Visalia? Maybe we're not too far from Merced. All I know is that my Author comes up often to go fishing, eats at the big Skunk and Stoat Inn, picks Weldon and me up and takes me home with him down in Fresno and it takes less then an hour and a half...if the traffic is good. One of the roads is highway 49...or 41. There is a highway 53 in there and a road 23 and a Starbucks or a Mountain Mikes Pizza. Once, we took a back road and wound up in Pine Flat Damn. (Well....he said Damn-it a lot because the road was horribly bumpy and I think he hit his head on the roof a lot and got stung on the back when a wasp flew in the window and up his shirt sleeve because he drives with his arm hanging out the window. I'm short, so it's hard for me to see out the window, so Weldon and I usually curl up on the seats and sleep.

Emma is 7 years old and will always be a pup to me :) She's also close to 80 lbs and the vet keeps telling me that I need to get her down to 70. I don't think the vet realizes that it's very hot outside and I don't want Emma's paws to be burned or hurt. I do my best to keep her on the grassy areas of the complex when we have to go outside.

What is this cat food you speak of, Sweetest Mistress? Do you speak of seafood or aged tenderloin of beef, perhaps...foods that are worthy of the Descendents of Mother Bastet?

Well, I have learned, that at least in the county where I am, that speaking your opinion/mind will get you out of serving on whatever trial it is. Well, I didn't even speak, so day 1 is one and I'm hoping against all hope that everything will get wrapped up tomorrow! Next time, i'll have college classes during the day and I can be exempt! Whoop!

Work is better when friends are there at the same time :) I made some no bake energy bites and I can't wait to try them, but it may be tomorrow because my eyeballs are tired and I may be going to sleep very soon.

: A wasp cure him of driving with his arm out the window? Oh no, not hardly. He is so old school with it comes to driving, he drives with the window down in the rain, in the summer with the air conditioning on. He brags that his automobile has powerful Four-Sixty Air conditioning in it...drive 60 with all four windows down. The wasp shot up his flapping arm sleeve, crawled along his left shoulder blade and stung him 12 times until mark managed to smash him between his shoulder and the car seat. This while driving about 60 miles an hour on the curvy mountain road. He wore those welts like a badge of honor. Showed everybody the line of stings. You would have thought that the wasp was the size of a Messerschmidt at the end of the telling. That's why he's my author.

I haven't been around much to chat and I am not sure when that is really going to change. I just haven't been feeling emotionally or mentally up to it. The last few weeks have just been hard...possibly cus of the heat etc.

Last update I told you all about taking my kitty Marshmallow into the vet that I found her where she was almost gone. She is doing better now. Then a few days after her, another kitty Caliandra got ill. She wasn't as in bad of a shape, but took her into the vet. Sat in the office with her for 5 hours waiting. It was a rough day cus then I had to go to my jobs. I was suppose to be at my 2nd job at 6pm and was just then leaving the vets office WITH Cali and still hadn't done first job. So I didn't get to job til 830pm...ended up staying there til after midnight instead of being done at 10. Cali is doing well now too.

Sadly a few days later, my one 6 month old kitty, Dwarf Star, ran outside. WHICH he had done plenty and I would let him stay out for about an hour or so. Well I let him stay out for a bit and it was feeding time. I brought food out for the outside kitties and usually just call Dwarf and he would come running back from where he was in the yard area. Nothing. I went back in and fed everyone else and then went back outside to get something and look for him. I just happened to glance over in the side yard and there he was laying. He didn't respond. I grabbed him and rushed him inside. He was having issues breathing and didn't really want food but he drank some water. So next 12 hours I just looked after him. He just wasn't getting any better. SO I finally made the decission to bring him into the vet. I really didn't have the money to do it, but I couldn't just wait. Went in with him, vet looked him over. Felt that he had a really bad Upper Respiratory infection going on and gave meds to help him out and told me to keep force feeding til he ate on his own. Plus gave him some saline stuff under his skin to get him feeling a little more hydrated. Brought him home. About an hour and half later I looked him over before going to work for the next 8 hours and he looked BAD. I rushed him back to the vet. He passed away right as I got there.

This has thrown me off really hard. Bringing lots of my emotions about the losses I have had the last 2 years. I never had any time really to mourn. And I still haven't I went to my dads funeral, came home went right to work as I stepped off the plane. I went to moms funeral, went to work after dropping my stuff off at home. Buddy's passing (dog) went to work the very next morning. Dwarf passed, I went to work the moment I left the vets office. I just have had no time to even deal with the grief I am feeling and I am slowly slipping. I have had my mental illness under control for years where it didn't control me, I controlled it. But I feel that leaving. BECAUSE I know this is happening I have stopped drinking alcohol for the most part ( I have only bought bottles of Mikes Hard Lemonade) and even that I haven't really been drinking...I didn't like the flavor I bought much and I am one of those that feels I need to finish what I have before buying more so it has kept alcohol from me for 2 weeks now.

:( Due to the illness going around I'm wondering if they're getting into something poisonous or something... Or if there's something in the air or water that is causing an upset with your kitties and of course yourself. I know you said you weren't feeling so great with an upper respiratory issue. It has to be something. Allergies. Poison. Something.

Im actually feeling better. And the first too, was an anemic issue. The room I had them in got infested with fleas :( And the fleas went harsh after them. And I didn't realize how bad it was cus I was constantly working. I would feed them, love on them a bit and then continue on my day. The thing with those two are they are grazer kitties. They would eat whenever and wouldn't eat much of the can food I brought in just graze on the dry when they felt. As for Dwarf I really have to wonder if something happened outside. I was starting to let all the 6 month olds outside to hang out for some time each day, BUT now I am terrified. That if something happened in the short time he was outside that it could happen to them . He seemed okay when he ran out the door. But when I found him less then an hour later :(

glad you're on the mend. And that's a bummer but I can totally see how that might happen. I have a natural flea remedy that helps somewhat. I still need to get the flea shampoo and stuff just to keep it in check but I will send you the info and you can try it. It may help between bathing and applying anything else you give them. Yeah, he might have very well of gotten into something or someone could have been cruel. That is very odd that he'd be outside for an hour or less and have such a rough time. He wasn't hurt or anything, correct?

Oh that would be helpful about the flea stuff.

I'm also in the process of ripping out the carpet in my apartment and going with stained cement style floor per landlord. That is causing me some stress. I am doing it my myself. Had ab game plan set. Landlord wants to be super involved and causing me some grief. Cus I know I have way to many cats. I need to rehome. I'm just not in the brain space for that right now. So I'm trying to keep them secret from him. But he wants to "help" with the project. And I'm finding his insistance upsetting. I told him my free time is over night and I sleep in the day. He kept going "I want to be involved..." I wish I had the money right now to try to buy my own place with a mortgage. I figured at this point based on rent and how long I've been here I could have had my own cheap place by now.

As for Dwarf, in worry that maybe a snake got him.. OR more likely, he had the respiratory issue going on, went outside and it was super hot. That maybe the heat caused him more distress.

It helps a lot if your buds, but we also have very similar work ethics, so we'll split activities "I'll do the Thi-Chi if you want to do an Anagram." we have had people who's take was you do everything and I'll play on my phone for 2 hours
