I'm so sorry for you losses. :( hugs I wanted to go straight back to work after my Mom passed to have something else occupy my mind, but they made me take another two weeks off. I found out later that they told some of the customers what happened and knew that I wouldn't react well to pity. The nights are the hardest and they still are. I hope that you have a good support group of friends/family near you. My friends and my sister helped me out a lot even though when my sister starts talking crazy like my Mom use to it makes the panic attacks come out. Thankfully she doesn't live alone and I told her girlfriend to have her put in for 72 hours if it gets bad like that again.

Oh I am looking forward to it. Just the preparing and also a bit the unknown makes me anxious for a bit. Mainly because I will be away for about 3h from home and can't just come and get stuff I have forgotten at home.

Oh lord have I spoiled you or what? Little mister I should take you on a visit to the shelter so you can see how badly the other cats out there have it I tell you! Sitting there on your pillow with your dish of lobster in front of you. I've created a monster!

I'm so sorry about your kitty cat. I had a cat that died from an upper respiratory infection before I got Stella. Do you want to know what the worst part was? Bailey had not come in one night and then just didn't come home. I went to our local animal shelter and brought a picture and wrote up a description to have them call me if he was brought in. I checked their website every day and one day his picture showed up on there. They never called me! I called them and was told that he had been put down because he had an upper respiratory infection! Again they never called me! Did it never occur to them that I would have liked to hold him while he was passing over and taking his last breaths. He was my baby. I would have liked to be there for him.
I'm glad you were able to be there for your kitty. It's a heartbreak I will never get over. I was so upset.

I wish there was something I could do :( Do you have any time off at all? Perhaps now is time for a vacation--even a few days would do you some good. How is Caliandra doing now? Any progress? huggles I miss you, Dearest. Since you're avoiding alcohol at this time, perhaps some soothing tea is in order? You haven't started the home project yet, have you? On one hand it may be a good distraction, on the other it may add more stress.

Speaking of jobs (congrats on your girl's) I just had a telephone interview (first step) for a baptist church in Dallas and next week I'll find out if I get a face to face! I applied for the job last month, so I was really surprised when they called me. I spoke the truth to all of the ladies questions, so we'll see what happens.

lol well, it's the hard bread from the deli (comes in a bag) and you only have to warm it up but i ALWAYS burn it.

i've gone to the frozen section of the store, and gotten bread from there. you have to let it rise, before you bake it. omg. it's really good. especialy for "store bought dough"

OH KNOW HOLLIS!!! :( the air conditioner is really broken. i'm getting ready to put my nightgown back on and turn all my electronics off. (tv and cable box really put out the heat)

i'll sit in the dark with extra ice in my drink and just read my tablet. that won't put off so much heat.

wonder where the hell those portable air conditioners that we had last couple of summers are. did he even get them from the old house? or are they another thing lost.
