I cleaned a bit of our kitchen, too! I got to tackle the microwave. It was dirty, but looks like new now. Microwaving a lemon in water actually worked. I really didn't think it would, but it had to be better than trying 409 again, lol. The rest of the house is still a decent mess, though. Sounds like your daughter will be in for quite the surprise with the tv ^_^

Just got home from all the flying and was going to stick gifts under trees last minutes and they've locked the trees at midnight. Ugh. I knew this would happen, but I was not prepared anyways!

I'll be home for 2 weeks. We get off a little longer in January since we went to school almost to Christmas! Thanks as well...your wishes must have helped this was possibly the first time I made a trip with no delays!

That piece will look really really awesome with some wood burning on it. Looking forward to seeing what it looks like at the end! I'd preorder a ticket for a free shirt! I love free shirts. :) I may wait til the movie comes out on DVD before seeing it, but I think I would enjoy it. If it comes up to see the movie while I am home I will go for it. A lot of times I don't agree with the critics on things. A lot of things that are rated really high I hate, but lower stuff is great!

Alright...off to bed. I didn't even manage to watch Rudolph this year! I'm going to try to do it sometime tomorrow to sneak it in since it's my own personal tradition to rewatch it each year, but for now I need serious sleep!

Hi everyone! Just popping on to say merry luminaire & I hope you all are having a nice day. I just pulled some massive turkey legs out of the oven & we're almost ready to eat. Due to having various family members working nights over the years we've gotten used to having holiday lunches instead of dinners. Though I doubt I'll be able to eat dinner after this!

Okay so Subeta people are awesome people. Thank you everyone for the gifts and love and everything bright and sparkly in the world. I will be sending out other thanks, but just a blanket thanks here. Overwhelmed by the presents both here and in real life, and the love. We definitely have a white Christmas here with lots of snow, but everyone I love made it where they needed to safely and now the sun is shining. Can't read back because, you know even though it is Christmas, I have a headache. Love to all and hope your day is cheery and bright.

I woke up (went to bed at 3am and up at 8am) with a massive migraine and spent most of the day in the fetal position with a heating pad wrapped around my head. Got up to say bye to my brother and reheat my tea. Am feeling better now. Lingering ache but nothing else so hopefully it's done.

Thank you to everyone for my gifts. I will get to thanking everyone personally for the lovely spoiling y'all gave me! Might take me awhile, I don't want my headache to return. I agree with gry, subetans are awesome and KSrs are the awesomest! ❤

Christmas was pretty awesome here! I got a couple games and a wireless remote for my camera C: We all got what we wanted in our gift exchange! Except Debbie...we surprised her with something extra she didn't have on her list, lol. We got her a fitbit. Now she and I can challenge each other and try to encourage ourselves to stay active! Woo!

I haven't been on the last few days with Christmas. It's like a nonstop whirlwind. I'm sure a lot of you are feeling the same way. Today is the last Christmas. Celebrating with my Grandpa. I'll be kind of glad when it's over so things can just be normal and I can spend some time catching up with friends and just going and doing things together instead of overeating Christmas cookies. :)

The Grinch is a great one too. I made my kids watch Garfield Christmas at school and that was a nice trip down memory lane. :) I didn't manage Rudolph, but it's alright. It's not like I don't know the story. :)

Hiii precious <3 I've had a day or 2 to myself, including xmas b/c the only one that seemed to want to be around (or that could) was my brother and wifey who live here. lol Aside from making food, some the night before and very little the next day (turkey wasn't fucking thawed), I stayed upstairs and watched Arrow. They got a ham so it's not like we were suffering and we had LOTS of all day kind of food. Guess I'll make the turkey today. Really looking forward to it. Youngest didn't feel like coming home until around 8 that night and my oldest had her own plans so..

Dyed my roots earlier before my daughters Dr. appoint, then had to tone them. (Yellow roots... AHHHHHHG!) Now I've got deep conditioner setting on everything except the section I was finally ready to dye pink. It's a section that goes from my temples all the way around and while I tried to do it before, it immediately rinsed out within a week. 😞 (ok, so it said I could do it on wet hair, which I never do, but now I know I can never do that again) My highlight of the day, lol. hahah... "highlight"

Afternoon KSrs Sounds like everyone has been really busy over the holiday. Hope y'all had a good one! Lazy day yesterday and another today and then we get back to actually doing stuff, at least some.

@ taarna No no, I liked the pink and white, but I wanted to wear some more gifts so I changed this morning. I have the pink saved so I can put it back on. :) Reading back - we went to the Columbus Zoo. It's a very nice zoo and we live pretty close. We have a family membership so while we don't go a lot, we can go as often as we'd like. Mom and I tend to take turns calming each other down in the car. Yeah, I am very gtfo of my way. lol I'm generally more passive aggressive so I don't say anything to people's faces but I'm likely to say it to mom as we go by. I have little time for thoughtless people and the number of them seem to be growing. There is no such thing as manners anymore.

Meant to add that the best things I've gotten from the free shop so far is a raffle ticket and one subq piece I needed. I've also gotten two other subq items. Other than that it's rare and super rares, usually plushies, beanbags or elixirs, or melody items that aren't the books I want.
