I won a free commission for a CW in a giveaway in December. I was waiting until we got everything done here before contacting the artist to figure out what she would do and what I might want. So hard since there are so many things I find a shortage of but right now I don't know what any are. lol And I don't know what the coming changes, whatever they are, will mean for submitting it. It all seemed daunting before and with all the upset and coming changes seems more so atm.

I find it daunting too. Probably the person you won the commission from will be able to help navigate the changing system and it might be less stressful to talk to them then to worry yourself since you cannot see the CW creator forum where a lot of the info seems to be according to the news post.

you don't need to own the items. Anything that inspires you works. [Br] if I could send the snow to people I would. I am glad you remembered where I am. I use peppermint and eucalyptus for headaches and sinus issues or colds. That is as far as I tried. Was recommended by a physical therapist.

Just got back home!

After New Year's was exciting...revs went into the hospital because of high blood sugar caused by an infection he got during Thanksgiving.

Went to a baby shower today which the people scheduled around when I would be visiting revs. Sucked that it was freezing outXD

Terrible weather here. Had record snowfall and now it is raining so it is a mess. A melty mess. Went to the art museum with Dmy and her two youngest step kids yesterday. They were doing a focus on art having to do with the Japanese incarceration during WWII. It was lovely and poignant. I think the kids learned a lot, but so did I.

Hi all. Friday it snowed. Was so excited because it doesn't snow here often enough. Saturday went for my MRI. Shudder Took two Xanax but it wasn't nearly as helpful as it had been in the past. It only took the edge off instead of zonking me out like I wanted. Ugh. They were only doing my lower back so thank Heaven it was 16 minutes instead of 45 for the whole spine like it had been before. Don't think 45 would have been possible. This machine was even smaller than the last one. OMG couldn't even have my arms to the sides, had to cross them over my chest and stomach. So awful! The sides of the machine pressed in all the way from shoulders to hips on both sides and was only about 6" from my face. I think even if you weren't as severely claustrophobic as I am it would have been traumatic. The first time she slid me in I had my eyes open and had a panic attack and was crying and yelling to let me out. She said with this level of emotion and movement it wasn't going to get done. I couldn't bear having to come back and do it again. So I managed to calm myself down and made her swear it was only 16 minutes. This time I closed my eyes and kept them closed so I couldn't see how close it was and kept saying 'it's ok only 16 minutes' over and over in my head. Rox was saying I was doing really well and it would be over soon. Hearing her voice helped. We were almost done and I was trying very hard not to cough, but I was moving anyway. She had to stop and told me to go ahead and cough. I was so relieved when she said we wouldn't have to start over, that it would only be another 6 minutes. I was very proud of myself that I did it. I do not understand why they have to be so freaking small. Oh I hate them. And I've tried so many different types but they all affect me the same.

Anyway, hope all sick or hurting feels better and everyone has a nice evening.

Evenin' Everyone I wanted to post for most of the day, but the forums were being wonky (I think they're fixed now, thankfully). We honestly didn't get much snow here, but we have about an inch or two of ice, and it's still here, and on most of the secondary roads, so we had a snow day today, and have one again tomorrow (so much time to watch Criminal Minds, which makes me happy). Tomorrow we're finally supposed to get above freezing, so hopefully it will all start to melt. We're supposed to be back in constant 60s by Thursday (I swear the weather here is so erratic). I'll start my part time classes up on Thursday (was supposed to be tomorrow, but ice happened), but I should still be around regularly and have more time in general than I used to. Anyway, I hope everyone is having a good start to their week!

The powdered creamers don't really upset my stomach. But I end up putting so much in I'd probably be better off with just sugar or hot cocoa xD That sucks they damaged the rim like that :( Good on you for letting them borrow your car, though! Good on you for making your own lotions! I've never actually tried to make anything like that myself, unless you count the high school soap science experiemnt. My soap smelled like the trach bag we lined the container in. Talk about a horrible mistake, lol.

Awww...Sorry you didn't get the snow like you wanted :( Ice sucks. Sounds like that student needs to take over the weather forcaster jobs, lol.

We will have 1 acre of land in the near future ^^ I am so excited xD The house will come later, but we got the location we want, and that is the first step c: Other than that, not a whole lot new with me. Still writing some stories and what not. Students are still nice and quiet and working, so that is awesome ^^

It was an interesting visit with the 97 year old man sharing a room with us. I remember his age because he was always yelling it.

Could not read this thread, or most others, at all yesterday. The changing of the page number trick did not work for me. Had been hoping it would be fixed while I was out in the afternoon but it was frustrating to come home and see there were new posts and not be able to read anything. Glad it is fixed now.

The ground and trees here are covered with ice this morning. Power went out for a short time about 4:30am. I've been awake since. Tried to go back to sleep but finally gave up trying. My mom hasn't really slept yet. I'm hoping she'll fall asleep for awhile at least. Have to go out but not until this afternoon and hopefully the ice will be gone by then and mom will be rested.

Hope your ice is gone soon so everything can get back to normal. Still some time left to winter so maybe you'll get some snow. I wish you would get it and we wouldn't. lol

Only 40 degrees? I don't have enough layers to cover moving through that to get to another room! Is your bathroom that cold as well? That's serious brrr.
