Good morning! I hope you are okay, too. Here in the South it's summer, but last winter I had so many problems beginning with sore throat to inflammation, serious pain and days in bed. And that in our Brazilian winter, which isn't as harsh as yours! Wishing you all much health to go through this.

Morning All I'll be on a bit this morning, but I'm babysitting all afternoon/night, so I won't be on much. Tomorrow is mom's birthday, so dunno how much time I'll have to be on, but I should have time to pop in. :D My first day of classes was nice. I like how small the classes are at the community college compared to my big university. This was definitely a good choice for me. (There are 12 people in my Anatomy lab, and I haven't had a lab with less than 30 in a few years, so it's nice). Anyway, I'll be around, questing, might mess with the darn HA (I keep forgetting).

Did not sleep much. Got to sleep sometime after 1am (that's when the show I was watching ended) and woke up about 4:30am. Tried to go back to sleep for an hour and then gave up and got some coffee. Been playing around on the computer and watching tv since.

Don't know if we have anyone in the ice storm in the middle of the country but if so hope y'all stay safe. We had an ice advisory yesterday but mostly just got a glaze on the cars and the roads remained ice free. Have fog this morning but we're not going anywhere today. Will be putting all the holiday stuff away in the basement today. House looks so dreary now.

Sorry I've been MIA, yet again. RL duties always call. Been working 12's for 4 days and then my regular hours on Wednesday. Exhausting. I seriously just come home, wash my face and go to bed and in between have woken up earlier for a shower. (don't like evening showers/going to bed w/ my hair wet)

Last Tuesday, I spent time w/ my lil bro, which I don't remember if I mentioned or not, and let him drive me around to stores (as I drank and enjoyed life, lol) I needed to go to, and then drop me off an take my car, then take me to work and pick me up on Wednesday. Well, that day he was checking out my car since it's been making noises and found out that I have a 6in split in my serpentine belt - which honestly, has had me pretty freaked out since then - and then I had to take my daughter to the doc in the middle of my shift on Thursday b/c she had and has been having symptoms of a UTI, which prior to that we thought was another yeast infection (sorry if this is TMI for some) but even though they didn't find a lot on preliminary tests, they gave her antibiotics. I'm very much not an advocate of this b/c of how much we've been overdosed w/ them, and continue to overdose and pollute everything with (shampoos, soaps, gel, etc) by way of it going down the drain and not being filtered out. Read too much, for too many years... not to mention the fact that she used to have to be put on amoxicillin every year for serious colds when she was younger.

Just saying, if I had asked her specifics...if she had known how to tell me... I would've started home treatments to combat it. I just feel bad b/c she had to suffer through some symptoms that we thought were one thing, tried to treat it as such, and it was s/thing different. 😞

Hii bb! <3 I know we were just talking earlier in the morning and you'll probably have a lot to do on your lappy today, but I wanted to show you that I had time to show up here and answer you! :P (I know you have your tablet, if worse comes to worst) I had/have so much going on that half the time at work I spent thinking about it, then another half was actually busy b/c I was the only one doing a 2 person job (ergo, the 12's). First it's Brianna, then my car. And as you know, after finding out about my serpentine belt, I've been pretty f'n scared to drive. But that's not all. The noise I initially noticed is probably a wheel bearing, which is far more costly than that belt was. I can still have the labor done by my brother, but the part is.. blah. And if I don't won't to pay for that part, then I have to see if I can get one of them to take it off a junker.
You'd think we were both Gemini or Pisces, given what we go through around the same time.

We opened our restaurant on a shoestring budget but I think it's going well. The customers love my hubby's food. Today was day 4. I waitressed for the first time ever on opening day. I worked in the office the next day. I will be waitressing on weekends.
