Hey guys, I got my 5th win against Sophie today, thanks to your help and advice! So happy about this! I'm now testing how the new weapons work and if they help me getting more wins against other opponents like General Error :D

Congratulations on the wins! I hope you'll beat that squirrel up good! It takes some luck to outlast his freezing scrolls but after that I think he will tone his annoyance down and give you a breather once in every while.

I don't know. I still find it useful for a few challengers 😄 ; but yeah, it seems the BAs only remember that it exists once in a blue moon, so we don't have that many opponents against whom it can be helpful.

GE is hard because of the freezing and stealing, but eventually you should get lucky enough to beat him. I would recommend not using blasters against him only because that gives him a higher chance of taking something important like your main weapons and healers. And like said, you'll want lots of parched crystals to help against the freezing

If he does manage to get your stuff and freeze you (which he probably will a lot) I would probably just forfeit and heal in a new battle instead of losing and paying for the healer. It could take a lot of losses or forfeits, but good luck! :)

@ efferd If you have it, or have access to make one, the is a lifesaver against GE. You'll probably both be frozen on the first turn, but the helm guarantees an anti-freeze blessing for two turns. That'll give you a little breather to freeze him again or get your own blessings up. [edit] Derp nevermind I just went back and saw you do have one.

Thanks for the advice, guys! You have defeated General Error 4 times! You won a(n) Extremely Hard token to use in the battle shop! Let's see how far I can get…certainly not 10 wins anytime soon, but 5 would be nice ^^ Forfeiting seems to be a good option.

You should be able to get 5 wins and maybe a few more. It took me a lot of forfeits to get to 10 wins, but it still might be doable for you if you're persistent.

Eh, I just got my 5th win! I'll keep going (though it'll most likely take me more than 30 losses!), if I'm one then, then it's persistent. Thanks ^^ I hate him too! But…there's some progress at least. ;P

The only reason he's worth attempting to beat 10 times early on is because of the scroll prize, but at least he'll still be around if you want to get your pet's stats up more first or some more set upgrades.

Thanks! Yeah, that's true. It's nice to have the five wins in case there's a reset (I read somehwere that this might be the case soon?), but since the scroll is an achievement, there's plenty of time for that and it will probably be necessary for me to improve either the stats or the set a little bit more.

No one knows exactly when the reset will be, but a lot of people are hoping there will be one this year at some point. I think the admins have said there could be one coming soon, because they were waiting for some other things to happen before doing it.

Last time I think they gave like a week's notice or so before resetting, to give people a chance to finish earning EXP from any remaining challengers.

It's great that they give a warning though! I didn't know that. I beat GE another time, but for now I'm stopping this madness ;P I'll continue tomorrow...

Slowly...slowly grinding my way through the last few we can handle. I think all I have left now is the island which'll take about 3.5 years, and Cinthilocks? I heard she's different for a T12 and I've only ever fought her as a T13 so I don't know what to expect with her.

Although after the past few days, all this talk of a reset is making my stomach turn lol

That was...really hard. And I swear they've programmed to steal whatever weapon you're using that turn. Every time she stole a weapon, it was one of my attackers.

Managed to only reach level 25, thanks to getting Crawbeast, Chase, and Crawbeast again on the 26th. UGH.
