~ There is a book called "Stitch and Bitch" that a knitter friend of mine recommended when I was starting out. It's kind of a Newbies guide to knitting. I made 3 scarves 2 yrs ago. One for each of my kids & one for myself. I'm doing striped scarves for all of us this year. :) If I had a little more time on my hands I would be able to knit better. Right now, all I can do is scarves, lol.

That's awesome! I've been debating trying to either knit or crochet cause I'd love to make awesome hats for my son and for my nephews and niece. =) I've been checking out etsy to buy kiddo a shark hat and some of them are super cute but they're not quite what he's wanting. No, not at all! We've had a number of sharks wander on in here, especially after different events or holidays this past year.

That sounds like a lovely gift! My husband told me he had started making something to give me as a wedding gift, but hasn't completed it yet. It's only been about 5 months since our wedding XD

Yearn stashes are dangerous. I have a soft bin that is overstuffed with yarn and a vintage bread box that I've put some smaller skeins of yarn in. I have more yarn but I took it back to my parent's home for storage. My grandmother had the toe portion completed for one sock, so I wouldn't mind finishing them at some point if there is enough yarn.

I hope you start to feel better soon. The secret storage area is very nice. It costs 158,000 Bells, but it has 9 pages of additional storage space. I can't remember how many storage slots there are per page, but its nice to have the extra space.

I'll have to look for that book on Amazon. I've got a few books on crochet patterns, but I don't think I have any for knitting.

I found a Ravenclaw scarf at a thrift store for less than a dollar. Yesterday I found a Hufflepuff scarf at a shop in the local mall that was $25. I want to make my Hufflepuff scarf in colors similar to Newt Scamander's scarf from the film, yellow and grey. I was sorted into Hufflepuff when I first joined Pottermore. Then the website changed and I had to create a new account, where I got sorted into Ravenclaw.

I was pissed off when Pottermore changed. I've always been a Ravenclaw, and then when I got resorted I was in Gryffindor.

So I rage quit and signed up with a different email and got Ravenclaw lol.

~ I was in Slytherin before Pottermore changed. I'm in Hufflepuff now. I'm okay with that though b/c Slytherin was never my favorite. I was please with the Patronus quiz though. I got a unicorn as my Patronus. ^_^

I created a new account because I couldn't remember the log in info for my original account and was sorted into Ravenclaw. I actually made a new account last night because I wanted to see if I could get sorted back into Hufflepuff, but got Ravenclaw again.

Pottermore is a bit of a disappointment now. I'm sure I could find all the interesting additional information if I spent enough time on the new site. My first impression was to compare it to Buzzfeed because all I could find were lists made by other people. I did find a petition online requesting Pottermore return to what it once was when I did a Google search to see when the site had changed.

The old site was fun. I'm kind of over it now. I'm a huge Potter nerd (to the point that I've been contemplating a HP tattoo for about 5 years), but I'd prefer to stay in my memories as opposed to the site. I loved the original series, but the spinoffs are a bit much for me.

I think I ended up with a dog or wolf as my Patronus. The second time anyway. The first time was on my Gryffindor account and I got some animal that was very uncommon that I can't remember. As you can tell, I haven't paid much attention to that site in a while!
