The site does seem to be running a lot better since yesterday for me, I've hardly gotten any errors or lag. It looks like the worst of it may be behind us, finally. :)

I was an original 2012 Zombie, before they changed the whole skins/wardrobe thing. I keep to Crackhead most of the time as I like my Zombie heritage!

Cookie decoration is the way forward! Our homemade decorations have hit a bump, the bases I got are card and seem to keep eating the paint! (Should have put on an undercoat layer or something).

(And if you have to have Xmas guests, tell them the dress code is PJs and robes! ) ;)

For the past two years I would say that I was going to let the kids decorate cookies, but I never got around to buying all of the stuff for it. This year I found a kit that has the mix, two cutters, frosting and sprinkles. They were also buy one get one free! I couldn't pass that up :D

Can you "like" avatars? I keep trying and it wont let me. I can click on the "like" for the post and the heart changes color like it is suppose to, but it wont do it for the avatar.

I think that bit is still buggy. Hopefully it gets fixed soon!

I am troubleshooting a new cookie recipe to decorate for colleagues. I think I might have figured out the problem (too much moisture in the cookies = spreading cookies!), so I'm planning on testing out a few more ratios of sugars tonight. It tastes fine, just need to sort out what the issue is so the nice snowflake cookie cutters I have will work! Otherwise I'll just do circle cookies and decorate those... just takes a bit more imagination :)

I think the HA liking went wonky when they first made changes to the forums, just before the big update. Not sure they are working at all at the moment. Shame, as there are so many nice ones this time of year!
I have not checked the 'Problems & Bugs' forum yet, but might be worth checking if anyone's made a board about it.

i normally drink earl grey with honey and sugar. black teas usually have the strongest amount of caffeine and haha i wish i could share my sleep. i've been sleeping to try and avoid my problems because i'm super nervous about my driving test xD

I always try to make homemade gifts for my husband. When I was still in school, I would make handmade gifts for my parents, as well. I always appreciate homemade gifts because of the thought and time that is put into them. My husband has bought a few Star Wars posters, but I wanted him to have something unique to hang on the walls in his office.

I need to learn how to knit. I have a partially started sock that my grandmother started but never finished. I found it while going through her fabric and yarn stash after she passed away. I also need to start crocheting more, I have a bin full of yarn that I need to make things with. And I just bought yarn the other day so I can make my own Hufflepuff scarf!

I finally finished upgrading my home completely. Now it can be judged on a theme that I pick. I picked the Antique theme for now, but I need to do some research on what furniture fits that theme. I also got the secret storage room so I need to do some organizing of everything I stored away! My town will probably have a few weeds because I haven't visited it in a few days. My Wild World town is probably loaded with weeds, I haven't visited that town in years.

I have to do the weekly food shop tomorrow, so I will be packing lots of tissues, taking my meds and spraying the bug-killer hand gel in my general vicinity.
Always a fun way to spend the day...

Yeah, art work is a nice option. I got a silk print of Jack and Sally from Nightmare before Xmas the other year, which my other half got framed.

Yarn stashes are dangerous things, you can get quite lost in them! I have never tried sock knitting, but I can knit in the round on DPNs - have made some halloween decorations using that technique. Scarves are good for practising.

Down with lurg, so neither me or my niece have the 'energy' (OK, we're mainly feeling sorry for ourselves!) to get on AC at the moment. At least there will be no more random holes being dug, though. Secret storage room sounds very nice though, I always fill up the cupboards very quickly.

Yeah the kids are really excited about seeing it :D
