True, although in this case perhaps it's someone being generous for the holiday season. I don't know, but it's still kind of nice even for people to get a few small things.

Yeah, we can remain hopeful, I guess! Even when people quit, it's nice they want to share stuff out, rather than leave it in an unused account.

That's a lovely idea! I hadn't thought of that! The yarn is a pretty green color, so it would fit right in at Christmas time! But I have to teach myself how to knit first....and practice a few times.

I had run out of storage and opened up all four of the personal exhibits at the museum to stash stuff there. xD I made one room look like and actual exhibit with most of the things that Gulliver sends you after you 'rescue' him. But the others just became a space for furniture collections and fish that I'm hoarding for a future fishing tourney.

Probably until the end of the year (hopefully crosses fingers)

I believe I've gotten 2 or 3 boxes now but nothing super awesome in them yet. I am interested to see what kind of gifts they end up putting in them as the event goes on. =) They've done some great stuff to keep things exciting around the site, I really love the staff here.

I am slowly reacquainting myself with everything on the site and totally enjoying myself doing it! :) I have also been peeking around the new wardrobe but am totally intimidated by it so far. O_o

Are the forum boxes a new thing?

The forum gift boxes just started yesterday, and they'll be given out for the next week or so I think. Just a little extra something for Luminaire, and I think also to get people posting to help test the forum stability. :P

I took my dog out a bit ago and it has gotten colder! Today's high is only in the low 30s with the wind chill making it feel like in the 20s! I put the kettle on for some hot tea :)
