I need to get some more books for Talon, but dang some of them are so expensive!

I baked Pinwheel cookies and German cut-out cookies today. They mostly came out well, though some of the cut-out cookies came out a little crisp. I still have half the German dough left though, so I'll make more later. I made the Sandbakkelse dough and have it chilling in the fridge. If I have the time tomorrow, I'll try to make a few. I've got the special cookie pans, found them at a thrift store. I've heard they are hard to find. I thought about buying some jam to use for filling, but cherry jam was over $4 for a small jar, so I may just fill them chocolate.

I don't think my mother-in-law is, but I think they make the ulcer pain worse. I avoid tomatoes too, but that's mainly because I don't like the taste or texture. If I get pizza, I find a place that has a cheese sauce that I can sub in. I'm allergic to strawberries, which always surprises people.

The last place Chris and I lived, two different neighbors across the street had small dogs that barked all the time, especially if you were outside in your own yard and they saw you. It got pretty old fast. Bigger dogs never seem to have an issue making themselves known.

I hope it continues too. I don't know how old she is, because someone dumped her, but I at least want her to hang on until Christmas. She loves belly rubs, and today she plopped down to have her belly rubbed, so I do think she is getting better, slowly.

I had a good time baking, but now my back hurts thanks to the rib I dislocated years ago. I didn't finish all my baking, if I have time in the morning, I'll try to bake some Sandbakkelse.

I have yet to find a forum box. I don't think I got any last year either.

I've kind of liked seeing them a bit early, it's still exciting either way. Especially when I saw the Donadak item in there, I was just like omg it needs to be tomorrow already so I can wear it. :P

I managed a tricky Dandybunny rescue. Poor little fella in the donation, clicked the wrong thing tried to go back too early a lot of refreshing to find him again :)

It's certainly been a learning curve. But we've found some very nice new recipes from having to try stuff.

Whilst logically I know that's right, I think I took it far too personally! xD And the bathhouse is now my hero for those points.

It may be a bit early, but I saw the thread had been made so I figured it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and post the suggestions. I like a lot of your item ideas!

At least staff will see it and can decide if they want to implement it or not. I'm not expecting a huge plot or anything, but some items like those would be fun. :)

I always figure that staff are already prepped for the "coming soon" holidays, and anything we suggest may be for the time after that!

But I'll have a think and see if anything else occurs, creativity is fun!

Vegging out time now, no one can be bothered to cook so we're going to play "find an open takeaway" for tea in a couple of hours.

I think they've said actually that suggesting things a month or two ahead of time is good, because it gives them some time to look through them and come up with at least a few user suggestions, even if they already had some other stuff planned too.

So we may be able to see some items like what we suggested, and maybe further down the line in upcoming years more could be done with the idea. I guess we'll see ~

Smaller dogs can be nervous or afraid of people and other bigger animals, so they often bark more. Bigger dogs tend to have less reason to bark at things that scare them. At least that's what I'm told.

- yes, having to experiment with food recipes does have the advantage of letting us find wonderful new dishes we might have otherwise missed (always a silver lining).

I think there needs to be a better mechanic for the boxes, I have been lucky today with some time to post and only got cheap items.

For people who are busier with work, family commitments it'll be tough to grab enough boxes for the chance of a good item.

Not grumbling too much though, it's nice to have the chance!
