Yeah, it was fun! Lots of people are hoping it leads to a plot now, or if not this year then maybe in the future. At least I'm curious more about Melody, mentioning how old she is was interesting. I guess all the Luminaire magic has affected her so she doesn't age now (like Santa I guess, he's been around for how long now? Like a few hundred years or so at least right?).

I honestly never really follow the plots but I know lots of people really love them so I hope it does turn out to be something substantial. (I did religiously follow the Jaxon and Ian plot though admittedly.)

ooh, a plot! It has to be better than that joke of a plot going on at neo right now. - I've gotten one gift box and 2 fairies, which I don't need. I'd rather have the gift boxes.

I've only gotten a handful of faeries, and despite needing them I'd still much rather have the gift boxes. I'm just starting to post in the gift box thread over in the lumi forum.

Even just to get a little something would be fun. Plots are always looked forward to, especially because the staff on this site are actually competent.

Lol I quit Neo for good over the summer and haven't been back on there since, what's going on now? It's been crap for a while, but especially since JS took over. I can only imagine.

Very, very true. I didn't even really realise neo was still like....trying to do plots and wasn't just blatantly a cash grab site.

LOL neo hasn't done a legit plot in a super long time. When I left, they were mostly just doing little events where you do something daily and then get some junk at the end. And it was mostly just the annual events too, not really anything new for a long while either.

I have no idea how they're still afloat. Are people honestly still buying that much Neocash?

I refuse to go back now. I was holding on for a while, still doing just the bare minimum of stuff on there, and then one day I just realized to myself like "Why am I still on this site?" I didn't really care anymore, but I still had an account just because I'd been there since I was like 10 years old and it was a habit now I guess. I quit pretty soon after that, and I just don't care about that place anymore. It was fun a long time ago, but now it's just a pretty much dead site that refuses to acknowledge that it's dead. It's changed ownership multiple times, and each time it just gets even worse than before.

If I'm going to waste time on a silly game website, I at least want it to be one that I enjoy. At least Subeta still puts out high quality content regularly, new lore and events, and all of the art is just amazing. Not as many users now as there may have been a few years or so ago, but content-wise it just keeps getting better.

I completely agree! I spent so much time there when I was 11 or 12 (& on through the years lol) and the only reason I feel obligation to go back is because of the unconverted pets I spent so many years trading for XD. Even then..the look and feel of that whole place is so broken and sad it's hard to enjoy.

Yeah that's pretty much what it was, an obligation to stay on the site. I told myself I'd stick with it until the end, but what is the point if it's so bad I'm not enjoying it at all anymore?

And lol I just looked up the plot info on Jellyneo because I was curious, and wow it's so bad. It's been going on for like a month now apparently, but seems like there hasn't really been that much to do? It looks terrible my goodness.

I have tons of fairies in my vault. I'll send you some when I finish my dailies over here. It's a sort of plot. For the first couple of steps, you just repeated the same thing you'd already done, with the difficulty increasing slightly. Then about three weeks with no plot updates. A new step came out on Monday that took me 5 minutes. Then, nothing after that. I do my dailies and change my pets' clothing. That's it. You can have 5 pets on your account now, 6 if you're premium. I'll admit that I still like parts of the site, but I don't feel like my account is safe. Too many hackers/cookie grabbers. I feel like my account is safe here on Subeta. - Subeta is so much better.

Yeah, it seems pretty bad. And that's true about the account stealing mess, I remember some of that was going on even when I left too.

That's part of why I don't mind if Subeta stays a bit of a smaller site, we don't have to deal with as many of the problems that some big sites do. Nobody really tries to steal accounts and stuff here, people don't even really steal items. I see people lending stuff to others with no problems all the time.

And I like that Subeta staff pretty much have total freedom to come up with whatever they want with the new items and site events and stuff. Instead of just following orders from some business executive who only cares about making money. And that also helps them be able to take a lot of user suggestions as well, in fact a lot of the Melody and other winter items so far have been based on requests from users.

totally understand! I remember it wasn't fun letting go but it was worth it in the end! I wish I had found Subeta long before I did XD . Which also reminds me how paranoid I was trying to protect my account from hackers, so much stress for a young teen LOL!

Yay that is great! I am doing my big food shopping tomorrow. If I get stuff too early I will eat it lol!

Posting, posting, posting. Got 1 gift box this morning. But I sure don't need any fairies. FYI for anyone who does, I will be throwing a bunch of fairies into the donation center along with lots of scratch cards on Xmas eve and Xmas. I will post here when I do the first one. Yeah I'd rather have the gift boxes, the fairies are now kinda like the dwarves during Morostide. ;) There should be a fragging fairies achievement. Only here for a few minutes on lunch break so hope I can post more over the weekend. But the forums will probably go crazy with junk posts because of this.
