Sorry to hear about your mum's kidney stone troubles, a friend of my other half had similar issues and it's quite tough to deal with. Good job you channelled your super Sharky powers to be able to help out. :)
My niece (the 6 yr one) has just rediscovered Animal Crossing on her 2DS and insists on visiting my town for the hairdressers as she hasn't one yet! My phone is old, so no gaming on that. :(

Lol, I am glad you like calming and cute games, too! Have you tried the phone version of Animal Crossing? It's free and they actually are pretty generous with giving the "real money" currency out for rewards. If you do play, and I have been addicted and I would totally wanna add you two. XD I'm gonna see if my mom is into it when she gets her new tablet for Xmas. =) But yea, it's addictive and cute, and it makes SO MUCH SENSE to have this game on a phone considering it's focus on real-time.

Agreed , I am loving all the items so far! Pretty wearables, collection items like beanbags and plushies, books for Utinni, food for Chewing Bacca... it's lovely. Minions for the zoo, too! *dances in the gifts *

Both the Melody items and other winter releases have been superb - I had to get the Gingerbread background /foreground from the Quest shop immediately. Luckily I had some points stored up!

True! I really love the cocoa gift items (wearing one currently), and of course I had to get all of the new Quest Shop items as well. I'll get the MC items too eventually, at least we have 3 months to do it because I need to save some more first.

The 'mug and hug' style jumpers are lovely - I haven't dared try buying any yet though, as I am a rubbish restocker and the prices are crazy high at the moment.

Yeah, funds are certainly depleted at this time of year!

This one was actually a gift from a friend, I usually don't have the patience for restocking either. I'm hoping they'll make Get Mugged the Mystery Box shop at some point during the winter, that will give people a chance to get some of them and lower the prices a bit possibly.

And I haven't heard anything specific about it, but I know has mentioned about putting certain items in there in some of the news comments. So I'm pretty sure they're still planning to open it later this month or early January or so.

Yeah I don't understand why people don't like the snowballs since some of them are beautiful, like icy and tiara, or cute like the santa hat, owl, etc., and they only last for a couple minutes max anyway. Wish there was a way to make them stay on the HA longer. I've given up on the achievement so will just throw them in between doing other stuff.

I will just breathe easier when I get it all finished :D

Spicy can be an acquired taste. I had not had anything spicy growing up, but friends who love some really hot things have shared and I am now really happy to eat all sorts of spicy things (although I am never going to eat some of the things a few of those friends can enjoy :-) ). I also have a few friends that can't eat anything even a little spicy. Like so many things, you need to do what works for you. :-)
