Today was my 6 year subeta anniversary, too! :D I'm glad you're able to get some help around the house. Congrats on the new job!
"You've unlocked the Lace Skin! Earn the Lace Skin, which can be earned randomly while buying something from the Subeautique!" Wow, I didn't even know about this. Cool. Giving up on the snowball achievement. I just don't have time to sit & buy/throw 24/7 so it will take years to get it, so will just throw snowballs whenever I have time. I still like the Icy Snowballs on my HA. :) Added more CWs to my shop. ;)

Congrats on the lace skin! That's pretty cool! :o Now I might shop there sometimes to try and get it, too. XD
That's great you've been allotted the most help you can get for the cleaning and such. Tough financial situations are def the best time to practice prioritizing and it sounds like you've got the right idea. I'm also glad you showed up prepared to the party! I have tummy troubles a lot so any food involvement away from home is scary. D:

Thanks. I wasn't trying to get it, I didn't even know you could. Will probably never use it but now I have all the skins except several zombie skins I don't like.

splashes back down Woohoo, the Secret Santa Shark is almost ready... we will be sending out the messages from Santa Shark over the next few days (owing to real life bits) so everyone will have their Shark partner/s before MONDAY 11.59pm.
Happy Gifting!
Well, I could have done with you helping, but we are partway down the gift wrapping stack - we have family in different areas so some stuff needs to be ready earlier than others!
Aww, congrats on future niece! Our latest niece addition to the family hits 3 months this week, and seems to like growing... xD
I have been hit and miss online too, due to technology issues - sad I missed the spring/summertime fun, but so glad I didn't miss all of Morostide or Lumi. :)
Hopefully your Xmas/New Year period will be fun and not just busy.
Thanks - I am really looking forward to finding a new pet in the adoption centre - I have a harvest and storm potion saved up, so I'll see which is best for the pet.
Oh, congrats for the new job! Well done you. :)
Hope you can settle into the groove and have a calmer time for the new year.
Aside from aching typing fingers from all this Lumi empty tree admin (giggles), it's going well. But I am going to be busy next week, that's my friend list Lumi shopping week!
That will be a more fun kind of busy, though.
Yeah, I just remember how helpful and supportive people were towards me when I had just started on this site, and if I can give that to someone else, it makes it worthwhile. Who knows what THEY can do for someone down the line!
:)
Glad you were able to make the most of the party and doughnut power to you!
🍩
Ooh, congrats on the skin! I hope there'll be more achievements like that in the future - it's fun when they randomly happen.
joins the year 6 buddy parade
We hit year 6 and all is well
The Shark Tank's full and we can tell
There's more fun on the site to find
With Shark love & support in mind!
😎
Yeah, I guess it's important to be as organised as you can - no one wants a load of school work hanging over them during holiday times. I think my niece's school closes for the holidays on Tuesday so I will probably be doing a bit more baby sitting then.
No worries at all, you have important things to focus on there.
I'm glad to hear Chris has a little money coming in from the odd jobs, and best of luck to him for the online interview. Fingers crossed.
The old boss sounds like a piece of work, no one should have to put up with poor management behaviour like that. If people are entitled to things - honour that. It's quite simple.
I hope you can unravel yourself and the headaches and pains ease up.
Reminds me, I still have a list of Xmas cards that needs sorting. I think I have enough for this time round, but I'll try the 'shop a year ahead' technique. I guess there will be a lack of choice though, as you say! Have to see if I get lucky with that.
Yeah, it's annoying when you are feeling industrious and the list of what you need for an achievement won't open or just spins. I don't get so many of those moments, so it seems a shame to waste them waiting and refreshing. xD
Knees can be a pain, I have 2 family members with knee problems, both have had physiotherapy but neither are great. My other half got banned from jogging by his doctor as the stress was too much for his knee.
Ooh, dizzy biking sounds awful. Are there many places locally for flat biking where you can have a more enjoyable ride? Where I live is quite hilly, but there are a few 'family friendly' bike routes which are easier for all.
Currently I am under a blanket trying to do my typing as it's dropped very chilly! Less practical than layering but more warm and snuggly. Let us know if you do get any crazy weather. (And Xmas snow, that's always fun) Though hopeully the weather won't interfere with any travel plans - that's always a concern this time of year.
Oh, my, I remember when my wishlist was one huge thing! Breaking it down took ages, but at least I can find things a little easier now.
Good luck with sorting the crating things eventually.
Weekends, well, I understand completely. I don't think we have a free one either until the new year, and maybe not many then! Hopefully things will be a little more stable for you by that time, so you can relax with the crafting.
Yeah, we have family with a birthday on the 23rd, so we make the effort to keep that separate from Xmas things. The best way is just treat it like the birthday was in another month and buy what you'd get them then!
Dropped in lucky with the wrapping paper so far, 12 metres of wrap for 99p isn't too bad! Vintage style sounds nice, I think nutcraker and nature styles seem popular this time round here.
Hooray for the cheesecake success! Are there an dairy free chesecake recipes that work well? Then you can have more of a treat! You can market the fudge to friends and family as extra sweet, and no one will tell! xD
I have some gluten free breakfast cereals leftover from earlier in the year, so am thinking something like rocky road or krispie cakes with those might be nice to share around the family over the festive season.
Have fun with the baking! We have a family birthday tomorrow, but other people are doing the food. As the token vegetarian I have been warned it may be mostly cheese for me. Good job I like cheese...
Have a good time at your party. :)
I think you're right, some places are failing at being proper thrift stores! We have a lot of antiques stores locally here too, and the prices are such that it's really only tourists or those with money can afford to shop at them. No good for the locals!
My niece found this issue with her larger dolls, there isn't much (locally and cheaply!) for the larger dolls that isn't baby clothing - she really wants stuff like the Americen Girl lines with more 'grown up' doll fashions, but they are too expensive.
Home made patterns may be incoming...
We certainly had to home make the tiny clothes if I have time I'll make a couple of little dresses for the 'doll Xmas tree'.
Well, hopefully the whole Xmas thing will be sorted easil for next year once everone gets things organised. We often do the main food for parties - of about 12-16 or so - and get everyone else to bring the chips & dips and snacks to save us that cost!
Oh, yes, some little bird ornaments would be a nice all year round decoration! If there are nice local flowers or plants with good leaves, ou might be able to dry some of these to use as well, with the other seasonal bits you have. Or check the craft box scraps, there will be something you can use!
The pickle here is pride of place, he looks very happy in his Xmas hat! xD
Sometimes it's handy to check the freebie places, and you can drop in luc ky there.
Jersey knits are great for the little doll crafting projects, I often find T shirts and cut them up for the smaller patterns - easy to sew to fit!
I think 2nd hand electricals sold here (through shops, not from person to person) have to have tests to show they work, otherwise the shop can be liable if they cause accident or injury - at least that's what I was told when trying to donate some stuff. So, only a few bigger shops can afford to pay for that.
Happy Xmas film watching! Let us know what you picked.
A food diary will definitely give you a better idea of what trips you food-wise, but remember to add things about your other triggers too, eg. if there's a big weather change and so on. It can be useful to narrow down what may be the cause.
Still not seeing the image! :( It's a shame photobucket messed with the setings, but hopefully it may work at some point. I'll look forward to seeing it at some time.
Look after yourself.
All Sharks on my friends list please remember to keep your wish lists updated. Thanks. ;) (by the way I tend to put small stocking stuffer type stuff under trees and send the good stuff as wrapped presents) :D

That is awesome! Just missing some zombie skins has to be pretty cool. I am missing a good mix of both zombie and special event. But I did zap myself a lot over Morostide and I even got 1 of the 2 that I really wanted. Of course... I like to collect the skins but I almost never use them. XD I just want the option! Lol.
I think you're the first person I've met who actually likes wrapping presents. XD My mom is actually relieved she doesn't feel well enough to do it and I said I would wrap for her. D: Shiiiiiiiit.... lol. She's making me earn my keep this holiday, but I guess that's fair. XD
Your little snowman avi is looking so cute. <3
Congrats to those that hit 6 years!!! cheers and throws confetti I think I am coming up on the 3 year mark, lol. I was a bit late to the party! But I blame Neo for that, I didn't get frustrated enough to really commit elsewhere until that point.

Yeah get all the stuff finished and then veg out for a couple of weeks :D
I have some fairy trades set up for you :)
I don't use the skins either except at Morostide really. Just wanted to see how many I could get. I'm sure there will be new ones next year. I don't like or want any of the ugly zombies skins that I don't have yet any way.

Thank you! Next year should be nice - we're getting an in-ground pool so thats my summer planned lmao.
I'm pretty excited for shark secret santa, hopefully there's a lot of people that signed up.
Same here! We do our family gift exchanges on Christmas Eve so gotta have those ready a little earlier than usual and then I try to keep those presents to the front and home presents in the back so they'll be easier to pack up. I think my Christmas week will be a lot of fun! I bought myself a perler bead kit (the little beads you iron together?) and I am excited to make some fun designs as stocking stuffers! Awww ^___^ 3 months old, gosh so many fun months ahead! It sure is fun to be able to play with them and send them back home! I have another niece that just turned 1 but she lives a ways away and I've only gotten to see her twice, but my brother did bring her last month and she was a lot of fun! The new addition coming will live just down the road - I am fully ready to spoil the heck out of her. Dang technology issues! I hope they are fully resolved now cause of course it is wonderful to see you :D
Hehe yeah I don't like going out to shop but I sure love wrapping them up and making them pretty ^_^ Muaha, well I hate that your Mom still isn't feeling well but yeah I'm sure she's okay with the perk of having you gift wrap this year :P Congrats to those hitting 6 years! I'm in the same boat with Kupy, but I'm really glad we joined - we didn't know how much fun it would be! Lots of good memories from Neo but with them so many frustrations that got worse and not better.
- Thanks for the reminder to update my wishlist! It has been a while and while it's still up to date in a way.. a lot of the things on there will forever be on there because they are too expensive or just not available.. so it'd be good to find some new things to add.
- I just saw your name on your tree - that is really cool!! :o
Thanks! I thought it needed a little extra pizzazz lmao. Also: aaaay same tree type, I like your nice refined style of decorating.
That's cool, I noticed it also. I have my name on my tree. ;)
CWs for Sale or Trade https://subeta.net/user_shops.php/shop/24266
Oh man and that's such a cute idea to have your names like that! cheers
Does the incoming niece have a name picked out already or are they keeping that under wraps? Hee hee, it'll be nice to get some baby fun through her! Play and send them away, it's a good plan. XD
I really need to stop procrastinating until Sunday to do my schoolwork... ROFL. But all I have left is one project and the article to write in it is like 500 words, which isn't super bad. shakes fist 2 more weeks after this!!! Then job hunting... and then I'll have to go for a bachelor's at some point probably... cries uncontrollably Lol

& We can have a 3 year party in the Tank too, just tell us when, I'll bring a poem! xD
This time of year should be all about the vegging out - the weather is too bad to go out in anyway!
I have 2x Xmas parties this week, better check I have enough spending money!
Ooh, sounds like you have the pool party sorted! Hope the weather's good for it. :)
Too rainy and grey here to think about summer times.
The Xmas lights in town were looking nice today though - there was a market/carnival at the park so I think they made extra effort.
Santa Shark is hard at work, I'm sure! ;)
By Xmas eve? My, that's very organised! Are you making any things for yourself with the bead kit?
Yeah, my little niece is fun; we have a decoration, a small, colour-change santa (now named 'shiny santa) that she likes to look at and babble-talks to me. For about 30 mins non stop last time!
It's so nice your little 'un will be local, lots of fun to have.
I am still working on saving for a new laptop or something, but this one is hanging on for now.
Fingers x-ed!
Secret Santa Shark can confirm the messages are sent for Baby Sharks & Hammerheads.
Secret Santa Shark would like to apologies for any typos, as they were very tired and full of potato wedges at the time of admin. xD
If you believe you have been missed, please ping me immediately.
❤
- Ooo start writing that poem! I expect to be moved to tears at least once! Your niece sounds absolutely adorable! :3 Bead projects are being made for my husband and kids as stocking stuffers! Got the first set done and ran out of black so I'll pick some up tomorrow at lunch. I'll mentally duct tape your current laptop until a new one can come along.
Ooooo secret Santa shark has begun, yay!
Yeah not too long ago they posted her name will be Layla so that's good to have some time to get used to it! Apparently my in-laws have been over there a lot lately - muahahaha. XD Now they have somewhere else to randomly show up to!
- High five for matching tree types! :D Hehe thank you, normally I'm all about the crazy colors and wacky ornaments but this year I wanted something simple yet pretty.
Just wanted to let everyone know that all the Secret Santa Shark messages should have been sent out today. If you believe you have been missed, please smail me or ASAP!
If you forgot to sign up but wanted to participate, perhaps we'll have a Lumi in July to look forward to... ;)
Got all my messages, woohoo! It's time to get sharky up in here.
I'm sorry I didn't participate in the Santa Shark, but with working full time I barely have time to do hourlies, dailies, some quests and Lumi stuff. Good luck to you all and hope you have fun. (added more CWs to my shop for Luminaire shopping) ;)
