I think you need finger protectors - sort of like a smartphone case. You keep bashing them on things. Ouch!

Eight to ten feet up should be safe - wow - your garage has a high ceiling! But you never know. I was sure that four feet up was safe from puppies who were only about a foot tall themselves at the time. I think I was lucky that the dogs were okay - especially since that was before I had any idea that chocolate is harmful to dogs.

Teething puppies are going to chew. Not much you can do about that except give her things she's supposed to chew on and hope she likes them ... and, of course, put her where she can't get at other stuff. Thank goodness they eventually outgrow that.

- glad to hear that you got all of Charity's items. I actually have no idea whether I did or not. The only items I really try to track are books - and now with four battle pets, I will need more of many of those. LOL. Still, for now I don't really have a lot of scrolls either, so AP and scroll library can grow slowly together.

- I'm totally hopeless when it comes to anything wardrobe related, but I thought I had seen some sort of fireplace in a background not too long ago. Unfortunately, I can't think of any good way to search for it. Tried a few keywords on SL but no luck. I did find this though - which doesn't seem to be available any more, but thought you might be interested to see it.

And yeah that's what I meant, there are CWs with fireplaces in them, but I can't think of any non-CW items like it at least that I'm aware of.

Because there's also this background which is really nice, but again it's a CW.

I am always hoping to get referral points from there. I need a ton of items from that shop!!!

I made that pet planning it to be a reborn mahar then discovered that species didn't come in reborn. So had a potion stashed in my vault for years waiting. Not sure I like this reborn pet better than the reborn endeavor he had been though. Hmm. I used to buy stuff in the black friday sale to sell later, like lots of trunks. But last year and again this year I just don't have the CSC so only got a gold medal and a couple WL CWs in the pawn shop. Saving what CSC I have left for the December collections. :)

Personally, my favorite potion-ed pet has to be the Glade Bovyne. I have no desire to have a bovyne ... or to have another pet of any sort ... I just want all that Sunflower art somehow on the pets I already have. :-) I LOVE Sunflowers!

also hi everyone sorry I haven't been around much, but ilu all.

I put the Melody widget on but it was a nuisance to have to delete almost everything so as to move it to the top then re-add them again. Wish we could just move them around to change the order. Also wish we got snowball alerts like we used to so I know who hit me with a snowball. And having to buy the snowballs 1 at a time instead of in batches like we could before will take forever to buy/throw enough for the achievement.

Are you talking about the one where you have to release a ton of fairies? I can help out if you need fairies. Just let me know and I will set up trades for you when I find enough of them floating around. I will help you out too if you need the theme.

Erm, I don't know where to find tree(s). How do I decorate? I've been reading about these trees for a long time and oh goodness wants to hide under a blanket. cough can't even find an embarrassed emo lol

I am lost too lol. Maybe my memory is failing me today! I thought we still had floating fairies (found around the site like the pumpkins) and you had to release a bunch of them to get the Luminaire theme.

The trees are not available yet. They usually announce it in the news. Then you can pick a tree to put on your profile and start decorating it :D

The trees actually are available! If you check the right side of the News page, there are links to all of the event stuff. There's one for the Luminaire Trees, you can go there to pick your tree and set it up. Some users (if you use Chrome) have reported their tree not showing up, but clearing your browser's cache should fix that if it happens to you.

Then you can get some ornaments and add them to your ornament collection from your inventory, to be able to use them to decorate your tree. Melody sells boxes of random ornaments after you visit her for the day, so you can go back and get some from her if you want.

Also the Fairies actually aren't floating items, you can get them through random events. So you'll need to refresh a lot of pages, or you can just buy some from other users. They're usually not super expensive.

Maybe it's Neopets you were thinking of for visiting every day to get a theme? I know there's one like that over there.

The Luminaire theme here is unlocked, as said, as the achievement prize for freeing 1,000 Fairies.

I managed to get a tree and set it up (yay) Now I'm trying to figure out how to make wagons for a train... would be really nice to have a train set at the bottom of the tree.

A train set would be cute! I don't know if there's anything like that, but on the page to decorate your tree there is a link that lists all of the ornaments on the site. You can look through that and see if there's anything that might work for you.

I'll have to see about adjusting some more, but I got a basic train, I have to get ready to leave in RL & haven't eaten lunch yet, eek!
