Lol I love you how you say Thursday already. I've been looking forward to the weekend since Sunday night!
Long week at work, probably going to turn into a long month. Hopefully I still have time to give out some sharky kisses!
Awe sorry you are having such a tough week. We were just excited for our show to be back on! ❤ Oh yeah Vday is coming up soon. I almost forgot about that lol.
Hugs a wild . at work. out there in the snow. leaves a sweet orange residue
LOL sweet and orange? Code words for sticky haha
It's all good. I'm just looking forward to the weekend!
I am sweet on you~ :3
rolls away leaving a trail of the same orange goodness

Same! Emily is too :D We will probably have my great niece over again. If we do, then we will spend the weekend watching movies and playing games ❤ that is always fun!
Are we doing anything for Vday? A secret Valentine maybe? Nothing major. I was thinking about just tossing our names into a hat and picking someone to send a sweet valentine to on the 14th. Like some flowers and candy.
Depends on when survival starts. With that happening around VDay every year, I probably won't plan anything, but feel free to if you'd like to!
hey guys! I'm alive and well and things are. looking up kinda. If y'all wanna plan something for the survival season (totally it's own season really) im totally down to pitch in what i can for some cool contests or what ever
- Good to see you!~ ^_^
And yes, so excited for Survival this year, please keep me in the loop sharkies!!
Home sick today after toughing it out at work yesterday.I was so low on energy that I took a 2 hour nap after work yesterday. I woke up at noon today, so I got some much needed rest. I'm hoping I just have a cold and I'm not getting a severe sore throat again. I haven't had any issues with any of the DS's that I've owned. My mom bought one on eBay that had a broken trigger. I think she ended up sending it back to the seller and getting a refund because they didn't list that it was broken. I rarely use the camera on the 3DS, its mostly by accident, and most of the time I have the volume turned down on the system. I used to play LOTR Online everyday. I loved that it was mostly a game that you could play by yourself and didn't require that you had to work with other people to complete quests. I still have the game on my old laptop, but I haven't logged on in at least a year.
I typically end up leaving the area or I circle back for the enemies that respawn.
Once I get used to a controller, it takes me awhile to adjust to the controller of a different system. I could not remember which buttons were which on the Xbox controller when I played Halo with friends.
In Destiny, I hate playing with random people, because either I'm going to be the terrible teammate or be stuck with terrible teammates. And I like to try and collect everything I can or search everything in the area and collect all the achievements for the game. No Man's Sky is a great game for me to kill time on because I can spend hours exploring a planet to discover every plant and creature that lives there.
I might :) it depends on how motivated I feel then lol.
Hey Hun hugs I am sure we can come up with something special for the event.
In Kingdom Hearts I always love leveling up the characters. If it says I should be level 30 then I want to be level 40 and really kick butt lol. Right now Emily and I are playing the Lego Star Wars game. It is really cute, but sometimes the whole split screen thing gets confusing. I have never played Destiny. I am an explorer too. I hate rushing through a game. If I am going to spend $60 on a game I want to get my moneys worth out of it! If I am going to rush through it in 3 days I could have just rented it.
I like to level up my characters a lot too. Right now in Fallout 4, I'm level 50 and I haven't done much of the main story yet, I've just been exploring.I'm playing Skyrim right now and I'm pretty much focusing on leveling up my character so i can actually go anywhere i want and not have to carry 50+ health potions. Destiny tells you the minimum level you should be for a misson or strike and I always try to be at least 5 level above that.
I've got some Lego games, Harry Potter, LOTR, and the Hobbit. The split screen feature gets really annoying, especially on some levels where you have to stay close to the other player in order to see anything on the screen. And the dividing line moves around as you move around the screen, which annoys me, as it sometimes hides something I was looking at. Borderlands has two different screen division orientations, horizontal or vertical, and it gives you that half of the screen all the time. I still get mixed up sometimes and look at the wrong side.
Destiny isn't too bad. My husband bought the game because a friend of ours plays and recommended it. I haven't been playing it as much as I used too, though. My husband and I both play Skyrim and Fallout. He almost always plays through the main story and barely does any side quests. I focus on side quests and exploring when I play, so I always find things that he doesn't. Then he gets jealous and I just tell him he needs to explore more. I think there are people that want to see how fast they can finish the game (just the main story) so they can say that they completed the game. Gamestop always has used copies of new games one to two days after the release date. I don't undertand how people can drop money on a game to own it for less than a week, and then take it back. I guess it gives them store credit for another game.
The split screen is especially annoying when you are playing with someone that insists on running ahead!!!! I look at the wrong side all the time. I have walked off so many cliffs from not paying attention lol. Buy back prices at Gamestop are insane. I had turned in 3 of my daughters games and they told me they would only give me $6 for all of them.
I always play with my husband and he always runs ahead. We played Lego Harry Potter last night, he was constantly running ahead and moving us to the next area before I had time to break everything. The split screen on Lego games dances around so much, I end up watching the wrong character and then I'm usually stuck in a corner or running off a ledge. I can't wait until I have the red brick that saves you from falls.
Gamestop is pretty stingy with buy back prices, DS and Wii games always have a low buy back. I have a Gamestop Pro card, so that gives me a bonus on each game I trade in, but that bonus might be an extra $0.15 to a couple dollars. The best time to trade in games are when they have a trade-in bonus week. They had one maybe 3 years ago in July or August, I traded in enough games to pay for my pre-order on Dragon Age Inquisition on PS3. I think they may have had another one two years ago, because my husband and I purged our game collection and ended up with over $80 of store credit.
~Hello sharks I mostly lurk here. Just dropped by to say Happy Lunar New Year~~~
I was trying to play the Lego Star Wars game, but it got annoying having to switch between characters so much to get things done. I just got a pro card in December. We usually don't buy that many games. I only bought the PS4 because Emily wanted the new Kingdom Hearts and the Attack on Titan game.
Hey and Hi! Happy Lunar New Year ❤
It gets annoying when you have to play through the same level over and over again to collect everything. In Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4, I have 1 more gold brick to collect and 5 or 6 more characters to find, and I have no clue where they are. I've completed all the levels so it has to be in the castle somewhere. The pro card is worth it in the long run, I've saved about $250 in the 3 years that I've had mine. I primarily buy used games and the pro card saves me a few dollars on them. I can never justify spending $60 all the time on a new game, unless its from a series that I love. You get points for everything you purchase at Gamestop too. I racked up over 12,000 points (twice) and redeemed them for a coupon for $15 off a used game, so I got Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas for the price of one almost. I still need to decide if I'm going to pre-order Mass Effect Andromeda, or wait until its been out for a bit before buying it. I'm sure I could find some games to trade in to reduce the cost a bit.
I want to try the Harry Potter game. I will probably rent it next time.
I don't buy a lot of games. Last year I think I bought 3 new games and 4 used ones as Christmas presents for my daughter. I am hoping to get her the Galaxy 3DS XL for her birthday. So far they are still not for sale at our Gamestop. Hopefully they will get more in soon.
The Lego Harry Potter game is fun and enjoyable but does have parts that are annoying. But I love anything Harry Potter,so this game was one that I had to have.
I don't buy as many games as I used to, that's mainly due to the prices of games (new and used) and having other priorities. My husband and I are slowly starting to replace PS3 games with their PS4 versions. I've got 4 games that in that I'll get for the PS4 in the future. I traded in 10 games today at Gamestop, then used the trade-in credit to pre-order Mass effect Andromeda. That will be my birthday present to myself as the game releases 4 days after my birthday, but I think my husband will have to pick the game up for me as I will be out of town.
The lego games always make me laugh. They throw in such cute extras lol. I loved it in the Star Wars game when the red guards were crying over Vader sacraficing himself for Luke lmao! Yay Bday presents are always great! Even if you have to get it for yourself :D
