I watched the second episode last night of Unfortunate Events. It was better but still cringe-worthy, especially when children are told the 'you have a guardian now, your life isn't going to be like it was before'. Hubby again said we don't have to finish watching the rest of the season, but I told him we can keep watching it since we've started it (I don't abandon a show unless its really bad/annoying - i.e. CSI: Miami's 'is Horatio dead or alive' that spanned 3+ episodes). I read about half of the series in grade school, then I had a really weird/scary dream of something from one of the books so I stopped reading them. I honestly wouldn't mind giving them another go/re-read before watching the rest of the series, but new books aren't cheap. I noticed some of the HIMYM cast members that have popped up.

I watched part of one episode of the Cumberbatch Sherlock and didn't really get into it. I'll give it another go later. In high school I watched Miss Marple on PBS every Sunday until they changed the actress who portrays Miss Marple, then the show just didn't feel the same. I watched Cold Case as well, along with Criminal Minds (currently rewatching), NCIS, and CSI: New York. I enjoy watching crime shows, but it seems like a lot of them now have added drama into the shows as well. I watched Psych for a bit, but it was on a channel that didn't come in consistently on our TV out in the country. Another show I watched when it was on was Eleventh Hour. From what I remember it was a good show, but I need to re-watch it.

I rented Star Wars Battlefront for the PS4 last night. It was sooooo boring!!! Why did Star Wars betray me?!?! Why oh why?!?! Waaaahhhhhh At least I didn't buy it before I tried it lol.

Feels like I'm trying to cram a full week worth of work into part time hours! head/desk I did get some good news though. My garage door arrived and they are coming to install it on Tuesday!!!

Been a busy day. I drove 2 hours to a baby shower this afternoon and it was very low key & chill. :) My cousin's wife is having a boy in March. Now it's bedtime & bath time for my 8 yr old and then some quiet time for me.

Think of me - we have a very bad virus going round in my retirement castle - all but 4 of my senior citizens are ill plus 9/17 people who work with me are lso seriously sick (vomiting and such).

My husband had pre-ordered Star Wars Battlefront and paid $60 for it. I think he had the game for about 2 or 3 months before he traded it in at Gamestop. He played it every day for about a week, after that he only played if his brother was playing. He got me to try it out once, but I got very bored with it, and I don't like online multiplayer FPS games. My husband was disappointed that it didn't live up to his expectations or what had been advertised.

I'm sad that Hastings went out of business because that's where I rented games from. I could find a game at Gamestop, then go rent it from Hastings to decide if it was worth buying. Now we just have Redbox, but I don''t know if they are going to have older games avaiable for rent (unless they are popular).

Hey all. Only a few more weeks until Survival. Not one of my fav Subeta holidays. But interested to see Zombie Sharks. :) But then comes Masquerade, which is one of the best. Anxious to see new stuff in the steam shop. :D

I like Survival enough. The new wears are fun, but I don't really care about the skins though the new strains are fun to keep track of.

I guess I don't really care for Survival much because I don't like zombies and most of the skins are just ugly. Waiting for next Morostide to use the zapper because I never got the skin I really wanted.

Yeah the ads for it made it look amazing. Plus just putting Star Wars on it is enough to get fans excited. Real let down :( my daughter and I are hyped for the new Kingdom Hearts game coming out next week :D hopefully that will live up to the hype. I love our video store! I don't know what I would do without it. I have a half card so everything is half off and kids movies are free to rent :D I hate red box. I love being able to walk around and look at everything. Especially when I see a movie I had forgotten all about lol. I don't have to rush to get a movie back by 9. I have until midnight and I can rent stuff for 3 - 5 days.

I think my husband also had expectations that it would have similar features of previous games in the series, but also add to the game series. His family are all Star Wars lovers, so much of the excitement for the game was that it was another new Star Wars thing.

I've never played any of the Kingdom Hearts games. I've been interested in them, but I've never tried them out. I'm looking forward to the release of Mass Effect:Andromeda. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to preorder the game or wait a while to get it. I really want a remaster of the Mass Effect trilogy for PS4. There was some talk that it might happen, but now its uncertain. I also want to get Rise of the Tomb Raider, but I'm waiting until I can get a cheap used copy of the game. I'm still miffed that it took a year for the game to be released for PS4, yet Xbox One had the early release deal.

Gamestop is the only game store here now since Hastings went out of business in October. I have a Gamestop Pro card, so I get discounts on all used games as well as monthly deals. I loved Hastings because you could rent a game for a week, which gives you plenty of time to try it out. They has rental games for all next-gen and previous gen consoles. Hastings also had a decent selection of used games too. My husband and I were in there quite frequently during their going out of business sale, and I think out movie collection doubled in size.

I am a huge Star Wars fan! I always have been. This is the first game I have ever tried, so I have nothing to compare it to. I am not a really big gamer really. I mostly enjoy playing the cutesy type games like Little Big Planet 3. The Kingdom Hearts series is really good. We loved all the Disney characters and the fighting parts we could handle except for Sephiroth. We never got past him in Kingdom Hearts 2, but he was really pretty to look at lol. Beautiful art and all but dangitt he refused to die!!!!! Emily is obsessed with lions and Simba. In the game she traveled to Simba's world and her character was transformed into a lion and she was able to run around with Simba. She loved it! The 2.8 is coming out tomorrow and she has been reminding every day for over 3 months now. Last year my daughter got a WiiU for Christmas and then soon after we found out they basically gave up on making games for it :( This year I got her a PS4 and an Attack on Titan game. She beat the game in about 4 days lol. I just hope they make more cutesy type games for it. At least a few :D I love being able to rent games. I just rented Plants Vs Zombies, but we can't get it to work :( it said we had to be connected to a network, but then said it didn't work. WTH? I miss the days when you put in a disc/cartridge and just played the game! No connecting to the internet or some network. You just played the game and had fun. Simple! I guess I am just old :P

I'm not a big Star Wars fan. I can name characters and maybe some of the planets but that's about it. I think I've heard my husband talk about two other Battlefront games and that one of those may have had space battles, but it was last year that he was talking about it (before the new game came out). I have Epic Mickey 2, first on the wii, then on the PS3. I enjoy it on the PS3 more because the controls are easier, but its a pretty fun game. I'm a fairly big gamer. I started out playing Mario on the NES. There are quite a few series that I love and replay, like Dragon Age and Mass Effect. Right now I'm replaying Fallout 4, since mods were released back in November. I've logged 100's of hours on Skyrim, and I'm starting over with the Ultimate Edition. I've got 9 systems, 3 of them are handheld (3DS, Orginal Gameboy, and Sega GameGear) and some of the systems are older, but I don't consistently play on all of them like I'd like to. I had read somewhere that Nintendo dropped support for the WiiU. I wasn't too impressed with the system when it first came out, but I think my husband and I are going to buy one sometime later this year or next year. There are a few games on the system that we want and the Wii is always a great system for party games.

I would love to be able to rent games again, but I don't want to do it through Redbox. The one thing i don't really like about the PS4 is that you have to have a Playstation+ account in order to play online games. I liked it better when you could play multiplayer without a subscription on the PS3. Granted I don't really play multiplatey games much, only Destiny and sometimes Elder Scrolls Online.

I have never played any online games like that. I love Disney games and Mario games. Especially Yoshi games. We only have a PS3, PS4 WiiU and a Nintendo 3DS. Emily wants the new Galaxy 3DS. I was going to get her one for Christmas, but they were completely sold out :( I personally think they should keep that whole playing online thing optional. If I buy or rent a disk, I should be able to play the game without signing in to anything. I have never rented a game from Redbox. How long do you get to keep them?

Yay!!!! It's in and installed!!! I have a new garage door so at least now if we get a bunch of snow I can actually get to and use my snowblower!!!

Lol I don't blame ya! A young teen went into a coma at around 13 and woke up 12 years later with strange powers and weird things going on all around him. I don't want to give away anything :P You should deff check it out!
