Hello everyone! Hope everybody has a great new year!

How is everyone? I'm trying to have a nice relaxing day at home. I took the day off from work so that I could take my pickup to the service department at the dealership to figure out why it's been having a hard time starting. They cleaned a corroded battery cable, as that was all they could find. I'll find out later this evening if it starts like normal when I run some errands.

Not really looking forward to this weekend, either. Supposed to have an ice storm move in Friday evening and stick around until late Sunday.

I haven't heard from starlesswinter for about a week and half. I miss her too.

I'm doing okay. I've been busy planning my youngest son's 6th birthday for this Saturday. He was born on Christmas, but he gets to celebrate with his friends after the holidays. I found it's easier that way because my birthday is the 29th of December. He is having an Inside Out themed party and my husband created Anger (his favorite character) out of Legos as the party favor.

I was thinking of sending starlesswinter a zombiephug with a quick note hoping she is well.

I am frustrated. I have a bronchitis and have to stay home til the 18th I just found out we're on the last season of Grimm

and I just LOVE that series Actually I laugh so hard, when they try to speak German giggles

Good luck with the party planning! Inside Out is such a great movie! I'm sure celebrating his birthday later makes it special for him. I know some people whose birthdays are on Christmas Eve or Christmas day and it just got lumped in with Christmas. I sent her some dandybunnies and wished her a happy holidays.

I honestly thought my pickup wasn't going to start Tuesday morning. This is only the second major issue I've had in the 5 years I've had it, and its a 2010 model. Being sick sucks. Last year, I had a sore throat that got worse each day and eventually drained any energy I had. The doctor was surprised I could still swallow, and was shocked that it wasn't strep or mono. So far I haven't gotten a cold yet this winter, I have no clue how I've been this lucky because my house is freezing and the outside temps keeps changing. It felt like spring yesterday morning, then quick change back to winter. I've never watched Grimm, but I have been watching Murdock Mysteries on Netflix (and last Saturday I may have binged watched until 4 am O.o) I heard rumors that Hawaii Five-0 might be nearing its end. I'll be sad when that show is done.

I liked that show, since it's based on fairy tales (okay spooky fairytales) bu I always loved fairytales.... It's okay though. I will just buy a complete collectors box later on to wathc all my favourite parts again...

Some are really scary, but the make up artists are doing an amazing job!

It's always sucks if a show you like ends. but not the end of the world

When Grimm first aired, I thought it looked like a pretty interesting show. But at the time I was trying to keep up with so many other shows, I couldn't really add another one to the list.

I am not really following any shows - just Game of thrones and Grimm (and big bang theorie)

I usually do not have the time - I watch them online and I try to wait until a season is nearly finished so I can watch it in a go XD

But with job and fmily I haardly have any time left. And I spend time on ehre, too

I typically catch up on my shows online or on Netflix. Right now I'm not keeping up with too many, may 4 or so. I'm waiting until the latest season of Hawaii Five-0 is completed and added to Netflix, so I'll be watching that this summer, most likely. I've got two shows on Netflix that I'm currently trying to get caught up on, Murdock Mysteries and Penny Dreadful. The other show is Ghost Adventures, I try to keep up with that show the most, but sometimes I fall behind.

I work during the day so I've got most of my evenings free, however that free time gets split between watching Netflix, playing a game on the PS4 or doing something crafty. I know in the future that free time will dwindle down.

I'm majorly lurking. Been ridiculously tired this week/starting to feel a bit run down. Fortunately we have Monday off for MLK Day which is really nice.

Grimm is DVD only aww and I was looking forward to another binge. I put off Game of Thrones because of

A Series of Unfortunate Events is out but I'm waiting a bit to get better streaming quality (when bajillion members aren't streaming at the same time). I wish they didn't make it goofy like the movie. Look at all the Grimm's Fairy Tales like Once Upon a Time 8]

In their defense, college students are not really adults lol. I just binge watched the Magicians. I'm on a sci-fi kick at the moment. Recently caught up on The Expanse. SO good and I can't wait for the next season!

OA wasn't bad, I'm curious to see what happens in the next season. Same with Stranger Things. I'm currently watching Travelers (also on Netflix). Not sure if I like it or not, but it's good noise.

The GoT books were way better than the show, but the show is now further ahead than the books. My boyfriend likes it, so I watch it with him. I liked Westworld, but I got some serious Dollhouse vibes and I want to rewatch that after I finish Travelers.

I share your opinion about Games of Thrones for Stardust movie vs Stardust (movie) book, even though I saw the movie before reading the book. The Game of Thrones audiobooks are up on YT.

I think I favor books more because with books you choose your own pace of adventure. Show dictates you have to fast-forward to the same part as everyone else. The work is automatically shorter so you end up missing a lot of detail/build up.

Everytime someone mentions dollhouse I'm tempted to get carried back to building Sims' homes x]

Grimm is an awesome show! I was disappointed to hear this will be it's last season! Great make-up and love the different chemistries between all the characters both good and bad!

as a German coughs looking it in english it's always funnyto see native english speaking actors try to speak German and sometimes I was os happy that they had undertitles

the same if they pronounce some of the names of the Wesen - who seem to be based on German words - like the Steinadler (which would simple be an eagle) or the Seltenvogel (actually two words selten - rare and Vogel - bird)

it's funny.

But I love the idea - since I have always loved the Grimm stories as a kid

I think has had some spotty internet in the past, so maybe she just hasn't had the opportunity to come online for a while? I still hope she's doing alright ~
