I donated to the bank (team blake and the OTT bank) and I think this is a neat idea! Otherwise I am happy with whatever we decide to do whether that's a raffle, battle items, luminaire gifts etc. :)

I donated a bit, but my vote is on Luminaire gifting :) If you're gonna divvy it back out, I don't need a share, I think it best to give it to those that need it.

- I think it is better for you to go ahead with a raffle for the just the cws. Please only ping the group one at the beginning and once at the end as some people are having problems with the number of pings ;)

I don't really like the idea of a raffle for the sPs (or items bought with them) as it means only some people would benefit.

- Who lost their sPs? Do you know if they got them back? If it was a glitch they should be able to get it back with a ticket.

I really like the idea of an opt-in raffle - like ping the group and have people post to enter. That way you're only including people who are actively interested in receiving something (there are numerous people here who posted they would not want anything back, which makes it very challenging to distribute to all members equally when you don't know who wants what) and still doing something fun.

I can't remember their name, other more active users may remember, the user put all their sP in a cult they made so they could do all the quests, but when they went to get the sP back and delete the cult, they lost it. I assume they got it back after asking staff as it was a glitch, but I don't know what happened. I wouldn't be surprised if it was all sorted, I just thought that if they didn't get it back, donating to them might be a nice thing to do.

It seems like a lot of people that donated their sP do not want it back. Some people also do not want to be included in any giveaways. I think it makes more sense to do what suggested, an opt-in raffle. We've been a really great group and I don't think anyone is going to pout if they happen not to win a big raffle prize (if fact we could do 20pt wiz tokens for everyone as an entry prize and then raffle off the big prizes/cws in addition) when the raffle is just meant to be in good fun.

I only donated 10mil to the TeamBlake bank. I knew at the time that the sp would not be given back. I just wanted to help out the team :D Just let me know when you decide what you are going to do!

When I donated, I never really expected my money back. Nor do I recall what I donated. I think a raffle or gifting would be more fun then just dealing out equal shares. So I guess I'm on Team Party Raffle instead of Team Equal Dibs

Personallly, I would like to see the group stay and have a chat thread somewhere on the forum (and get together again to finish out the cliff hanger whenever it finally happens?), but if most of the group is not interested, then, obviously that won't work. I only mention that because if we have everyone leave the group except for donors, then there won't be anyone for the chat group. (Maybe the donors could stay/join OTT and everyone else could leave there, then that group could be disbanded after distributing the sP???) Oops, I'm reading my pings in reverse order and just read your post about the Team Blake Social Club, so you already have this covered. I'll just go join there then.

In any case, I do not need to be part of any distribution and would like to see the sP go elsewhere. I did not personally donate to the group bank but chose instead to supply my own supplies and GA medal for the questing, but I did not use anything expecting any return except to participate in the plot and help out our team. I have already received the best reward which was just being a member of Team Steele and working with all of my friendly, generous, helpful and hard working team mates.

If the decision is to put things in the donation corner, or otherwise distribute widely, then , in my opinion, it would be better to do that now, rather than wait for Luminaire where it is already being done by so many others. I think it would make more people happy to be really surprised by something exciting now when it doesn't usually happen. Who knows, you might really make someone's day just when they really needed it.

I have a couple of thoughts on the matter. Distributing the funds back to all the current users seems quite silly as that would only net each person about 278k sp (if you include the funds in the OTT ping group) which is a lot of work for one of the admins with very little payoff for each individual user considering how much sp we all dumped into the event.

A log of donors does not necessarily solve the problem as a number of the donors do not expect their sp back, as evidenced by some of the posts in this thread. I didn't donate to the Team Blake forum group, but I spent a LOT of my own sp helping out users directly (e.g. by buying Iku fruit and setting up trades). I know at least with the OTT forum group, a large portion of the funds were distributed to users. By the time other admins were appointed to the Team Blake forum group, I believe some was distributed, I'm not sure how much. In my opinion, returning the sp to donors seems kind of silly. They donated to the bank fully knowing they wouldn't get it back, and it seems like a lot of work to track down the donors and then ask each individual one if they want their sp back and if so how much?

If this ping group is to be used in the continuation of the plot, it does make sense to just let the sp rot for the time being in the bank, but that's assuming that the next plot is also team-based and that we all join the same team.

I like the idea of an opt-in raffle with an entry prize as well, like a 20-50 point wiz token for each user that enters. Considering how much we vended during this event, I think the tokens would be really appreciated! It seems like the best way to spread the love from the team. The donation corner is iffy, so I do like the idea of a private raffle much more. A raffle is fun, and I think that all the members of Team Blake who participate will really appreciate it. The raffle seems like a really popular idea with the members of Team Blake based on this forum thread as well as the general plot one when that was being discussed between obstacles. Our team put in a lot of hard work in the event, lost sleep over it, and spent exorbitant amounts of sp on the various steps.

TL;DR I vote for a raffle.

If you need help organizing the raffle, I'd be glad to offer my time in any way it is needed. I strongly feel that it is the best choice for the team now that the event is almost over, especially since the ending was really unsatisfying!

I know Magician said they lost 50 million SPs, so I gave them 50 million to replace it. But then they got their SPs back and I told her to just keep it as a gift. I didn't donate to the banks but did spend a lot buying stuff during the event. I don't expect it back but the raffle idea sounds good and fun.

I agree, I think at least some of the pot should go towards a battle shop for novice battlers to get pylonics, scrolls, etc. so they can find all they need if they don't know what weapons to look for, something like that.
