It's interesting, every time I've seen someone comment who said they'd donated, they always said a donation was a donation and they wanted a raffle or contest or for the sP to be kept for the next event, and yet lots of people who say they didn't donate are commenting saying we should give the sP back.

ETA: Either way, I think we settle on a few detailed plans (e.g. specific contest/raffle ideas, hashed-out plot plans, etc.) and then have a(nother) vote.

I donated 20 mil to the group. My feeling is that, if people are able to request their donations back (if there was some way to track that), I would perhaps request half back. But I see the point that there's no way to confirm donation claims, and the potential for abuse. I'm also okay with a raffle or contest. I think it comes down to how much sP is leftover. If it's only a small amount, then it doesn't really matter. If it's hundreds of millions, then, sure, it would be nice to have some of my donation back. If we don't have a ton extra, though, then I'd say it got used for its intended purpose, and to do a small contest or something with the rest.

I'm intrigued by the idea of saving it for the next event. But I agree that we don't know what that might be and people shouldn't feel they have to join the Team Blake-chosen side just because it will have a fund starting out. Personally, I wouldn't mind, but I can understand some people not liking it.

Everyone seems very worried about this, but I would suggest that a group of people who got outraged over "spies" in their midsts is probably a decent and honest group of people. We could always have everyone submit their numbers to the admins and then see whether those numbers add up. :)

Are we going to do a raffle with the leftover sP? I have 5 copies of that people have donated to be raffled off, so I thought it would be nice to do a raffle all together if that's what's going to happen with the sP. I'd be happy to run the raffle for the sP as well.

- Ideally I'd like to refund the money to the donators. It's currently being looked in to whether we can find a log for donators. My plan B would be to split the sPs between everyone. Even if people didn't take money from the group during the plot they will still have spent sPs for team blake's benefit. The kind users who donated sPs for the events did it to help team blake so I figure this is the closest we'd get to that ideal.

I have a list of the current team members (sadly 10 have already left) and everyone knew the situation with the bank sPs was undecided. If you chose to leave before it is decided then I can't guarantee you a cut of the sPs but that is your choice.

What if you ask everyone to leave the group except those that donated. It would have to be on the honor system. But then the remaining group members would be your donators.

And then there's still the OTT group, which I have no idea who donated for that. If you decide to split it between group members, I suppose I could just add the OTT amount to that as well. Since I'm sure anyone in the OTT group was also in the Team Blake group.

I did have a 'random idea' the other day for what to do with some of it...Buy a bunch of things like 2pt Wizard Tokens or Scratchcards and sometime in December, put them in the Donation Center for people to have at? Ive been gathering scratchcards for the past 2 days for gift-giving purposes, but not sure if for Luminaire, or birthday type things.

I wish I had a good suggestion :( I took donations from people who couldn't give their time during that step and also used a significant amount of my own funds (and time!) to help out as did most everyone else who was Team Blake :D If there ends up being a way to find the donators like you were thinking, I think that will be the fairest way. Otherwise, I agree with your other suggestion of splitting it up. suggestion also seems good and if that ends up happening, I will leave the group so we can narrow it down to the donators hopefully ^_^
