Uslong (or Yuslong) (pronounced "you-slong") - the Russian word for elephant is pronounced 'slon' and I mean I'm a sucker for tea. And oolong in particular is fun to say, so I combined those two, a bit. (Plus, gotta get dat U or Y name.)
I know it doesn't particularly fit in with the Eastern Asian themed names, but hey shrugs gotta go with what you know best, and I know Russian, haha.browse my spare lifelike dolls

Yueluca
"Yue" is a branch of chinese from South China. "Luca" comes from the Roman "Luca Bos" for elephant. Could also be spelled "Yulueca"
Or maybe "Yusenca" to combine "Sencha" in the name as well, which is a type of Japanese tea.
I made a few deriving them from different words, here goes: Odaki -(Gentle energy) Yasaki (gentle energy) Waizuki (wise energy) Hayume (leaves dreams) Zouki (elephant energy) Yumeki (dreams energy)

Phanku! A mash of 'elephant' and 'baku'. Also kinda sounds like 'thank you', which seems to fit this pet's gentle and wise nature.

Maybe something close to Oolong. A type of tea. Or a combination of Elephant and Oolong. Phulong?
This in all honesty makes me kind of think "Baku" However, I like the name Mimphy
What about Ru-Bai. Ru meaning scholar I believe and Bai meaning pure/white and Ru-bai being similar to Ruby which is the birthstone of July (assuming that's when it's hopeful this is coming out?) ((nevermind just realized that's probably too far away xP but I still like it)) My attempt at something creative. you should have ideas, you're good at this.
Or Botan, like the Rice candy/currently blooming peony so called in Japan. Basically I like the rice candy. I want some now.
