This is correct! While Shengui Guo was influenced primarily from China, we also included several design and culture aspects from other parts of East Asia.

Really, we are going to try to avoid using whole words that already mean something in another language when naming this pet. A translation to 'Dream of Flowers' might be fine with some letters moved around, but another languages word for 'Dream' would not be.

But honestly - you can draw inspiration from anywhere. If it feels right to us, then it feels right!

I'm going to add some notes to the first post just to try to stop some repeat names happening. There are some lovely names suggested in here, and I'm loving some of the ways you've created these names by blending other words and concepts together.

Definitely one name in particular is sticking out to me right now. I was hoping not to fall in love with anything just yet!
