Srs suggestion: Yanshen
Wiki tells me according to popular legend, tea was discovered by the Chinese Emperor Shennong. It also tells me that there is debate over Shennong being the same as the Yan Emperor. So put the two together and you get Yanshen!
Yanshennong seemed too long, and the same for Yanshennon.
Not creative at all, but I'm suggesting Yaka. Or Iaka.
Cheveyo Evenk Fravardin Phasmatis

I'm going with Olorsule, which I got by smushing the Elvish words for dream and spirit together (and getting rid of a u from the last part).
Bless you for speaking <3
I actually REALLY like that suggestion! It rolls off the tongue and the way the "sh" sound is, makes it sound fluffy ^^

I second phantasma and phantus!

[/font]Since there's already a pet named after tea, I'll avoid direct tea names. Here are some of my thoughts
'Yugodi' or 'Yugoji' - combination of 'Gode' and 'Yume' (and slightly Yunnan - a chinese black tea) maybe 'Yunangi'
'Gode' - Apache for 'shadow spirit who haunts dreams' and 'Yume' - Japanese for 'dream'
Ohh, that color range is everything. I'm very much looking forward to this new thing. I have a feeling I'll be concepting a new Monk-related character very soon. That said, I have been spending tons of time on Overwatch and WoW recently, which both have strong zen-like characters... so maybe I'm a bit biased. Pls no hate if rough translation in my etymology is totally wrong. I researched this on Wiki, regardless of my knowledge that not everything on the internet is true...
As far as names go, I feel that this is going to be heavily culturally influenced by Chinese Buddhist monks? Am I wrong? Too bad the name 'Chai' is already used for our fun-loving panda bear companion of old.

Third name: [u
DAOJIAO[/u] & etymology]
Fourth name: [u

Navaan (after this adorable ele: https://www.facebook.com/BabyNavann/)
TeaTeas (Tits - comes from the American word meaning breastesses)
Yuchashin
It is the combination of the Japanese words for Dream which is Yume. The Japanese word for tea which is Ocha. Lastly the Japanese word for spirit which is seishin. Since this creature is connected to tea, dreams, and has spirit energy, the name would be perfect for it.
Tuskun?
I can't really name something I can't see.
Not to be a party pooper, but those of you coming up with Japanese names for this pet do realize it&;s a Chinese-themed area it&;s from, right..? ;u;
Bless you for speaking <3
-shrugs-
I based my names on a few stories I read about elephants in African mythology. This is Subeta, not real world Earth. We can draw inspiration from anywhere!
