This is correct! While Shengui Guo was influenced primarily from China, we also included several design and culture aspects from other parts of East Asia.
Really, we are going to try to avoid using whole words that already mean something in another language when naming this pet. A translation to 'Dream of Flowers' might be fine with some letters moved around, but another languages word for 'Dream' would not be.
But honestly - you can draw inspiration from anywhere. If it feels right to us, then it feels right!

Okay so I figured it couldn't hurt to add my own suggestion to the list.
Qiangxi (pronounced chiang-shi) Alternative Qianxi
My train of thought was basically 'Qiang' or ? is chinese for mighty/strong, symbolism is frequently associated with elephants Xi comes from the first two letters of 'xiang' ? which means elephant (haha sooo creative I know) And I was trying to think of names beginning with Q soooo here we are! :)

It is still a baku so it's hard to not use that in the name so here are my choices..
Japanese based: "Original baku" - Moto Baku "Large baku" - Dai Baku
Or..
"Spirit" - Seishin "Ghost" - Yurei
Chinese based: "Large baku" - Da baku
"Ghost" - Gui
Non-Japanese/Chinese based suggestions: -Legionnaire -Gargan/Gargantuan
