Yankhiwa (yawn-kee-wah)
The "yan" is both for "yandi" (Flame Emperor, a title that has been assigned by both the Chinese and the Koreans to the one credited with discovering tea) and "myaku" (an alternate Japanese reading for the kanji that can also be read as "Baku"/tapir).
The "khi" is for the Vietnamese word for "Qi" (spiritual energy).
The "khiwa" is also for the the Thai word "khwaam fan" (dream).
(Haha! 5 Asian cultures mixed into the word!)
And it also starts with a Y, since people want to fill in the letter gap.
If one believes in the path before him, he follows it. As this is human nature.
I combined some Japanese words together for some hybrid, Asian-inspired name suggestions. c:
Let's see...
Thank you for letting us participate! I am so excited to see this new critter! (:

I like ESPIRIDIÓN. It's the Spanish form of Greek Spiridion, meaning "little spirit."
I don't know if someone suggested this one already: Chazo (or Chazou)
Cha = Tea Zo = Elephant
I don't get much more creative than that. DX
Geneshku
A play on words for Ganesha and a Baku.
Ganesha is the Hindu Elephant pantheon; he is the remover of obstacles and the patron saint of arts and sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom. [ source ]
A Baku is a supernatural Japanese being that devours nightmares.
