Absolutely LOVE this Subeta!!!! Perfect! Well thought-out and researched!
Pureverie
pure-every
A play on the words "pure" and "reverie" (reverie meaning dream)
Hmmm... thinking it must be similar to a Baku? So make something like... Bakura or Yumera?
I'm not good at naming things, but can't wait to see the new pet reveal regardless!
I love your suggestion, Youkabai sounds so pretty!
Chaxiang (Tea aroma/Tea Elephant) Etheroam Youlong(A play on Oolong, You = ? (Quietness)) Gajvoi
Umaizo
(it literally just means wise elephant or supposed to)

Yenela
Yen for tranquility, and el from elephant.
The Noble Surya (sur-ee-ya) is also lovely for a new species.
Baku, because DUH. It comes from the Asian based world, and Bakus are the elephant critter.
Though I like Youkabai too.
Something like Yumekami? Yume = 'dream' in Japanese, and kami = 'god', although it is also sometimes used for what westerners usually understand to be spirits rather than gods.

Bakurus
Qi
Look up the meaning in Chinese. Nuff said. Ok fine. It means 'energy' and suchlike. Wikipedia: Qi literally translates as "breath", "air", or "gas", and figuratively as "material energy", "life force", or "energy flow".Qi is the central underlying principle in traditional Chinese medicine and martial arts.
Variations thereof can include: Qipo (daring or bold spirit)
Sources: I'm Chinese and damnit Qi is an awesome name for a spiritual elephant thing from Subeta's Asia-land
As I have 5 different Native American tribes in my blood, I decided to go with names from some of the tribes languages.
Kamali; which means "Spirit Guide"
or
Yatokya; which means "Sun" (since Shengui is quite a peaceful-sunny place.)
That's all I have for now, if I can find any others, I'll be sure to post them. c:
I. I dont know. Rather hard to name something we can't really see? o.O
I like the name Mengku. It takes from the Chinese word for "dream", as well as the Japanese name "baku"
Chasen - chasen is the bamboo whisk used to swoosh japanese tea. (yes, swoosh is a technical term lol) maybe the spelling could be altered to hint at the pronunciation more? so that people know that instead of "chase N" it's pronounced like "chah sen"
Yaolan - which means cradle in chinese. literally, rocking basket.
Weimeng - wei means something that hasn't happened yet, meng means dream.
Bludo (I just like the sound of it)
Butang (pronouced Boo-tang), this was a name my younger cousin and I gave to our sand Bunyip, again...I like the sound of it
Woggle- an Aboriginal Dreamtime word
Yaga- I dunno, it sounds fun
Qwerty- (It starts with 'Q')
I hadn't read the post the whole way through and the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the silhouette was Phanty.
