So, I'm terrible and fell off the face of the planet. I really want to participate, but with working as much as I have been it is hard to keep pace. Wouldn't mind jumping in where I can, but I don't want to upset anyone by messing up continuity. x.x; I miss you guys so bad!!!!

Despite the fact that Magnus had had the end of the term bonfire, he realised he could cover another creature or two. It had taken him awhile though, to make preparations. By the time the club members got their letters to arrive at the quidditch pitch, the pitch was completely altered to look like a garden. There were trees, shrubs, flowers—you name it. His llama, Freddy was wandering around happily munching on foliage and grass. He had a very very large sign that said, PLEASE WATCH YOUR STEP. He had sent the letters to warn everyone to wear good shoes and to please watch your step as there will be holes everywhere. And holes there were, lots of little “gopher” holes… though they weren’t made by gophers. A tiny creature was running and giggling as Kippers the cat chased after it. “Gnomes,” Magnus said, “don’t look like Father Christmas, as muggles fink. They look more like us just really tiny. In fact, most aren’t taller than a pair of Wellies. But even though they look like us, they ain’t got a lot o’ speech. You can ‘ear ‘em saying things like geroff me and such but not gonna get much else out ‘o them. Some people fink gnome bites are good fer you as they can make you more creative. I let meself get bit, but so far ain’t seen any bursts o’ creativity. Now I thought we could ‘ave a degnoming party. Whatcha do, is grab a gnome, pick it up, give it a twirl and chuck it over those shrubs. It might sound cruel but they seem to find it amusing and it don’t ‘urt ‘em. You can watch ‘em come back through the shrubs. They are daft, and will all start coming up from their holes to see what’s going on. And don’t worry, these gnomes belong to me family garden so they’ll ‘ave a nice place to go back to.”

He had missed much of the club activities due to extended study sessions and having to complete makeup exams in time for the holiday. His eyes lit up when he spotted Magnus () and Kippers and waved a hello. “Hey there.” Glancing past his friend he grinned at the llama. “It’s cool they let you keep him here. How have you guys been?” Crouching beside one of the numerous holes in the ground he peered curiously into one and was greeted by a mischievous squelching sound. Gnomes it seemed were a part of every wizards garden. Even though his mother hadn’t told him she was a witch, he recognized the little buggers from glimpses of his childhood. “Rude little things aren’t they.” He grinned.

"'Ey," he said smiling, "Yeah it is! I fink is cos Sam and the Syltherin girls Potty trained him. He goes on a pad and I just use the cleaning charm afterwards. Dad sent me a spell to make fences so when I'm in Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures, I use the spell and 'e can stay outside safe in 'is pen." Magnus watched as Fade inspected the gnome holes. "Ain't they?" he chuckled, "I quite like 'em. Mum and dad do too, though they said the degnoming is good exersice for 'em. "

Millie had been feeling a little weird since she finished exams and didn't have anything else to do. She had opted to remain at Hogwarts for the break and when she received word about a meeting with the Care of Magical Creatures club, she felt better. She got changed as directed by the note and went down to the pitch where she was taken back by the change. She joined the group and said, "Wow. Gnomes."

She saw Mangus's llama, Freddy, walking around. "Hey Freddy" she said as she waved to everyone already there.

“Exercise for them, or us?” Fade had quite the de-gnoming experience while visiting Gaia’s family farm last holiday, and was happy to have another pass at it. Spotting one of the braver gnomes peeking out of it’s hole, trying to keep an eye on Kippers, Fade made his move. “Ouch!” Bitten again. He shook his hand and plunged it down the hole after the offending biter. Dirt flew into the air as he plucked the little devil from it’s burrow by both it’s back legs. Lucky grab. Not wasting any time he spun it in a circle and released, almost losing his balance as he let go. Squinting into the sky Fade was pleased to see the little guy clear the top of one of the farther bushes. “Wonder where Chase got off to, he would love this.” Turning back he noticed Millie coming to join in. “Hey, how goes it?” He grinned.

Gaia took a long stroll before heading to Care of Magical Creatures with a smile on her face. Today was going to be a fun day for sure. She had laced her boots and grabbed some of her Quidditch gear just in case. Someone would need it, she was sure of it.

She made it in time to see Fade struggle with a gnome. "I thought I taught you better than that!" Gaia giggled and walked towards Magnus "I was sure I wasn't going to see you till we got back!" Gaia hugged her friend and carefully walked to her left "Now you should know better. Come here please. Don't try anything funny. I will know before you try and your landing will be a lot harsher than it could be." Gaia was talking to a gnome that seemed to understand the tone. The gnome decided to run anyways. Gaia watched him go with a sparkle in her eye "He really shouldn't have done that." Gaia sat on the ground humming to herself. It was a beautiful day.
