One bulletin board is covered in cards and pictures and mementos, so I suppose that one can't technically count towards "ways I constantly try to remind myself of things", but I'm counting the side of my desk top tower, so it evens out.

I've considered the sticky note apps, but am SO PICKY about desktop clutter that I hide them all and it's just. Between setting alarms and alerts on my phone, the wall of post-its on my computer tower, my whiteboards (one for official, important adult-business stuff; one for creative ideas; one for quick notes and etc), and the bulletin board where things like concert tickets I can't lose, my most recent pay stub, and anything else like that gets pinned, I'm almost able to keep myself together.

My "to watch" list on Netflix keeps getting bigger. Eric and I cut cable and only have Netflix when we feel like watching anything. It's nice that a lot of the major tv channels have their own apps to catch up on current seasons. I'm currently on season 11 of NCIS on netflix.

If the item is themed for this holiday then it's Keel Haul. It's not the normal prize that you'd see every day. Just be on the look out for pirate type items or anything that has to do with the ocean.

Changed my HA. Is the hat too much? Kinda iffy on it.

My guess is the iffiness is from the hair and hat being more solid in color than the rest of the scene. A safe gray would've put your HA in the background, don't worry it works. Hats like shoes are meant to be bolder than the rest of the outfit. Is it me or are the flowers purplish?

I keep staring at them now lol. It is hard to tell color on my monitor sometimes. I think they are a little on the purplish side. I think I will keep the hat on :) never had a chance to wear it before. I just got the earrings and ring and wanted to make an HA that could show them off a little ❤ yay for new stuff! lol

The HA outfit is very classy. If there's purple in the hat, a purple brooch, necklace, belt, etc would theme that with the rest of the clothes, perhaps? (On the kindle, seeing images clearly is tough!)

Really like the choppy waves and subtle shark fin. Not sure if the foreground would benefit from being plain? That would allow for layering of other items and add versatility. Can't advise on actual art as non-artist!

There's something to be said for simplicity. I still like the fact that people can't contact me 24/7. I still like to write my poems with (shocker) pencil and paper. I knit and sew. Real world stuff!

But there's time for technology too. Otherwise I wouldn't have met the lovely folks on here! :)

I manged 2 items out of the shop at 1:30am and I went to bed right after. Just woke up and it's already 9am haha.

Oh, I can cross stitch pretty good. I have a pattern that I bought a few years ago that I want to work on, but never get around to it haha. I've made quilts with my mom and grandmother, they are the real deal of the family. My grandmother had been quilting and such since she was a teenager, she had to "retire" from it when her eye sight when bad. She can still see a bit, but not enough to do what she used too. My mom doesn't do quilts anymore, but cross stitches a few forgotten projects. I learned enough from them both and now I need some room for a sewing machine, so I can start up with quilting :)

Those bandannas are really pretty. I want all of them lol.

Good luck motivating yourself for the stitching project! I find doing little projects helps me - just finished a full sized skirt, so back to barbie-clothes-making for my niece's dolls!

Big projects all the time gets a bit daunting.

There are a lot of pictures of her, my mom, and myself working on quilts together. My mom helped me put together my own quilt when I was kid. She kept telling me, "if you want it done, then you have to take time out to do it." Being a kid, I got antsy from sitting down a lot haha.

I totally think age is a construct (now that I'm also getting older, ha) except in how the body starts breaking in various new interesting ways. The game is interesting, but certainly not for everyone - it helps to be a little overly obsessive and good at repetitive tasks! But yeah, I use it to get out and exercise. My plantar faciitis doesn't always approve but I try anyway. The parks are a lot of fun, for sure, and I've definitely seen nooks and crannies of my city that I never even knew were there before playing this game!

So the expense is worth it! Totally understand. I'd get one if I weren't a cheapskate and too lazy to research it, especially for games like No Man's Sky that look so interesting, but then....laziness.

Two whiteboards as well? Wow. Maybe someday you'll have the whole room whiteboarded (nah that might be a little overly). But someday, I'd like to find out how to be less forgetful, but I suspect that day will never come. I'm just not that organized.

Because that is usually the outcome, otherwise. And I have a fear of screwing up something important because of my poor memory. Extra worth it lol but I also definitely got a little misty when I ordered it, because. that was a lot of money dropped in one swoop. Still the most expensive thing I have ever personally purchased so far. Were it not such an expense, I would totally recommend it (but that would also require it being something you would get a lot of use out of~)!

I would never whiteboard a whole room, but sometimes it feels like it XD I'm also hoping to one day be a person who remembers things without needing to be reminded 80 times, but I am also not the most optimistic that that will ever be an outcome I have. Because despite the organizational system that does seem to work, I'm still completely scattered all over the place. Ridiculous.
