Thats where I was from! I say San Diego, but it was really Chula Vista. Time before last when I lived in California (about...11 years or so ago now) I lived in Carlsbad, which is really close to San Diego

I sort of know where that is! One of the grad students from our lab recently took a post-doc position in the San Diego area and they're renting in Chula Vista :)

Beautiful area overall. It's weird that the only season is 70 degrees and sunny. Being raised in New England has made me very partial to the changing seasons. I love spring and fall. Winter is fine as long as I don't have to shovel too much. I'm planning on getting a car in the next few months before I start a new job which means that I, unfortunately, will have to defrost the car and scrape off ice, and possibly some shoveling to get the car out of the parking spot... I'm hoping to eventually upgrade to somewhere with a covered garage!

bad quality upload Ok, so while I really suck at anything that needs lineart painting seems to work. It's very incomplete obviously, but I think about submitting this as a CW sometime. I would love some feedback from fellow sharkies, mainly on the water and shark for now, but also on the overall composition. Did this with gimp and my mouse. I usually hate digital drawings, I'm much more comfortable with watercolours and pencils, so I have no clue what needs to be changed if at all?

That game sounds very interesting, and something I would have loved when I was out in the world. i've become a recluse, for a number of reasons. Age truly IS a relative thing. My sister and I both have ED-S so she understands that we have always felt MUCH older than our chronological ages.

That's really cool that you are encouraged to get out and walk by playing the game. I used to walk several miles a week. I had a great park to walk in, those were the days.

Are you SURE thats bad quality? Doesn't look like it to me :D. The water and shark look really good, and the deck is good too, but a bit...off at the same time.

AFTER the upload it suddenly had a lot of stray pixels and is blurry here and there. Yes, bad quality upload. That's not referring to the art, I'm pretty happy with the water myself. Just don't have a clue if that would meet subeta standards. The planks are just a sketch for now, partly because I'm really unsure if they need the starfish and barnackles or would better stay plain? (Partly because I should be asleep. Pff, worldly needs. :P)

I think the water would, but the deck area...I suppose it all depends on who is doing the approvals or denials at the time if theres different ones?

he retired after the XL-M series, XL is a revamp after they went through the whole alphabet once. I've been following that show, because of trivia and the comedian guest stars. I'm not British or European, just love UK panel shows and comedies. They've already recorded XL-N and it actually took a while to replace him because BBC is still challenged about the idea of letting the show continue with a female host. You can find a lot on Youtube, if not "watchseries" :)

It was so, so expensive T^T but it was money well spent. I sometimes forget that my laptop isn't as powerful and fantastic as it, and I'll go to play one of the heftier games I have and wonder why it's not working XD I've crashed my laptop a couple times doing that, which sucks.

I have three whiteboards and two bulletin boards to also try to help me keep my crap organized and help negate just how constantly forgetful I am. They. do not help...

Well that sounds interesting, thanks for the tip. Awhile back I discovered a way to stream youtube to my TV (using the Roku, which is what I use to get the Netflix there) so I need to go and find that again, if I want to watch youtube. There is SO much available on Netflix that I never get bored. I can barely keep up with shows I like. I'll have to check that out, though. Thanks.
