I love beef but not too big on swiss. Emily is a cheese fanatic. She loves pretty much all cheese lol.
yeah kids can be real jerks some times :(. Thankfully she really does not let them get to her. The worst bully she had lived down the street from us, and she finally moved away a couple of years ago. We were not sad to see her go lol. We avoid a lot of "normal" teenage stuff. Emily is not into any of that. She just wants to play on her computer, watch Supernatural (she has a crush on Dean) and watch Disney channel. She loves all the cartoons like Sophia the first. I personally try to avoid the news and everything else. Especially this close to election day. Ugh the worst! I think I want to move to Alaska and escape lmao! I am already dragging tonight. Brain is getting mushy. I am just going to veg and watch Supernatural. We are marathoning it until the new season starts.
The beef and cheese was good, but both times I ate today I felt "still hungry" afterward. I can't believe I've talked about eating TWICE today on this forum, but I DID start commenting here about 8 hrs ago, lol, so that spans two meals easily. It's after 9:30 PM and I've just had my "lunch" more or less. I love cheese, too, but it doesn't love me. I was diagnosed as allergic to dairy as a newborn, but in the 50's they had a notion that babies "outgrew" milk allergies. I gave it up on my own, again, when I was 40, but I DO eat a bit of cheese now and then.
I would just like to move back to Wisconsin--or if I could go anywhere? I would leave this country, but I'm on soc sec so I can't leave unless I'm rich, and I'm certainly not.
I forgot about Supernatural. Someone told me about it a couple yrs ago, and I watched one episode, not sure why it didn't catch my eye. I guess I could try it again. I was watching it on a tiny TV screen and couldn't see well, but now I have my roku (streaming the netflix) hooked up to a flat screen, not a huge one, only 38 inches, but much bigger than the other TV I had.
Well I hope you and Emily are enjoying your evening, and your marathon viewing! Take care and sweet dreams when you get there.
I figure that Alaska is far enough away without having to go through the hassle of moving to another country lol. Supernatural is awesome! We have all 11 seasons on DVD and watch them every day. We just started season 1 over again :D
my brain only wants to retain the most useless information.
OTPs, memes, Subeta... :) so the kid wants more cheese and bread with her cheese and bread... good, good evil pizza hut execs plotting
People love their bread and butter. Pizza is so expensive for bread and cheese. I'm a fatty, a slice is an appetizer, a pie is a meal. I've only had blue cheese in the butter pecan salad at Outback Steakhouse and liked it a lot. It's a shame I wasted a lot of cheese and cracker snack packs (with the red stick) when I was younger, my mother wasted money on them when I only ate the crackers :C
I internalize ALL of my anger about the stupidity of the human race
I feel the same way, I was smart when I was young and can still see things unfold a certain way that other people could not or just let happen by being as terrible as they feel. I faced spite rather than bullying when I was younger, the type that were only resentful of people being right rather than finding a ways to better themselves. These jerks grew up and are still challenging people with poor behaviors because they think they're done learning. It's clear it upsets them more to be seen wrong than it does to go around intentionally hurting their fellow human beings. In their minds people should just take it because they are already experiencing a better version of themselves. How they're good in their own eyes is baffling because they started life with tearing people down and (their attitude and self esteem) never got better than that. It takes awareness and consideration to hold back the idea of raising kids when it's no secret what the world, environment, people around and even under the same roof have to offer to future generations. The whole "be seen and not heard, and do everything for everyone" is just people being pressured into settling for things when they deserve better.
I stay inside and keep to myself now, too. I'm only getting into my late 20s. The world is filled with socially inept people forcing their unwanted inappropriate opinions and they intersect with people who live their life on display and on the outside and force other people's lives to be as public as theirs. Humans are universally lonely but ever notice the disruptive attention seeking ones that are too scared to be left alone with themselves? Ever notice cliques who are just miserable and boring enough with each other's company that they'd rather talk about independent individuals rather than share about themselves? I've found that the weakest link is always the unhappy one making the rest of the group be as intolerant as they are towards someone outside of their group. Picking on someone brave enough to be alone is a form of entertainment for them, and they're always bored enough to go look for someone to pick on. "Socializing" like that (bullying) is parasitic at best.
I feel like I'm going to burst like you have one day because I have a lot to pour out and too many ignorant people to correct or silence their hate entirely. I live in a packed neighborhood and the view is all apartments and residential parks so it's a lot of joyless noise pollution apart from when someone in the park plays music over the fools who yell. Literally, the only people who make noise in + out their door + running out the street are belligerent drunks or just plain ignorant foul mouths in broad daylight. I'm just not foolish enough to believe they're happy with their lives since a major part of it is invested in screaming abuse and making their kids or other people's kids they shouldn't be allowed near scream the same abuse. One of my enlightened neighbor's kids was still up and being obscene exactly an hour and 7 minutes ago, Subeta time. Earlier 2 people knocked on Apt C's door to have a racist misogynistic conversation no one needed to eavesdrop to even hear them. I already rant to myself because I don't know how civil I could stay if I have to confront disgusting persons. I'm still a friendly person unless people give me a reason to make them face their mess. Conscientious posts are heavy and it feels like I've said too much on a game forum :l
She deff loves her pizza! Pizza hut is too expensive, but I would rather have that than little caesers. I have never eaten at Outback. I have been meaning to, but haven't quite made it there yet. OMC I remember those! My daughter is a cheese fanatic, but even she wont eat that cheese lmao! She just eats the crackers too :D
like applying glue x) it took a few years before I cared for dairy that wasn't ice cream. cafeteria school milk smell did not help. Now I love cheesecake and stringcheese way too much. I'd probably be Vitamin D deficient without cream cheese with my indoors nightowl lifestyle. I can't stand cheddar but it's amazing on that Smartfood's white cheddar popcorn. Camembert's a pretty safe and mild cheese. If you ever do Outback make sure to get the sandwich instead of the steak because the sandwich comes with a dipping cup of the gravy when the steak comes dry. Ate with 7 bros, what are the odds that they all complained about the same dish? xD
I love cheesecake!!! I really like that popcorn too. Not a huge cheddar fan, and that pizza crust had a really strong cheddar taste. The crust itself wasn't bad, but the cheese made it so that I could only eat a little bit of it. Emily and I are both nightowls. That is why it has been hard to get back into the swing of school hours again lol. If a steak house can't make a decent steak, I worry about it :P
"This steakhouse makes a mean salad!"
LMAO! I am running out of good places to eat out :( I hate fast food. Food prices go up and quality goes downhill! It is getting to the point where I have to cook every day :o that is not allowed! When you are a kid, playing house is fun. When you are a grown doing it for real....not so much.
uhhuh have you seen all the viral cooking videos? cooking a meal has become make-your-own-fast-food-with-the-brands-you-love. Tasty for sure, just people can't live off of only cheese, canned biscuits and oreos and cheetos crumbled over everything.
I really like checking out recipes on the Kraft website :) I have found some really great recipes on there.
Gotta love the veggies ❤ I am finally heading to bed. I am going to be dragging today!
goodnight LOL that was a fun package. sends one for the morning
UK contingent rolls out of bed on a Sunday morning Argh, getting up after a pizza party is tough. But, step son needs new trousers/pants so to the shops!
Good party though a lot of guests just lay on the sofas digesting the food rather than doing anything! Most relaxing...
It's fine until she runs off with yarn I had planned to use for a project. The tangles, oh, so many tangles!
Careful with that over cheesy crust!
Sorry to hear about the schooling issues you & your family were having. You can pass this on, if you like.
Sometimes the days can turn out tough You wonder if it's all enough But that's the time to take a stand Step out, be proud, and hand in hand Take on the world by being bold We all have stories, yet untold Sometimes it's hard to be yourself But you cannot be someone else!
Halloween in the UK still isn't as big as other places, so we sometimes don't see any trick or treaters! But we have a yearly party for all ages and horror films for the grown ups. Always decorate for your enjoyment. :)
Self care is something too many people neglect. Those choices can be tough, but necessary.
Yes, England calling here. :) And in the countryside, so wobbly internet. You would think we were back on dial up some days!
Took a recent holiday to another place in the UK with no internet at all. We are in the wilds round here...
Oh goodness, you're right! Too much excitement, I am genuinely missing out the seasonal holidays. Some of the rreign stuff last year (I think) was very nice.
Right, to the clothing store to replace these hole-riddled pants!
Good morning! Just woke up about 30 mins ago and it's been raining before I woke up. I had a break in the weather to take the dog out and it's pouring again! Maybe it will lighten up because I have to drive somewhere about 10.
That's the only thing you can do after eating pizza. Lay around and let it all digest :)
Hey and Hi everyone! My day is off to a bleh start. I was going to take my niece costume shopping today, but the poor baby hurt her foot at gymnastics last night :( I feel so bad for her.
Yeah I am deff going to pass on that pizza from now on lol. Thanks for the lovely poem ❤ A yearly party sounds like a lot of fun!
Fingers crossed your weather behaved, we got rained off from a football/soccer game at the local park. But did get the shopping done.
And celebrated with baked potato. Ideal on a chilly, rainy day.
Oh no, injuries! Hope she is feeling a little better now. Hopefully you can get a nice outfit once walking is working!
Oh, we do like a good party, I confess. One year, we did a summertime grown-ups 'kids party' where all the guests dressed as if their mum/dad had picked their party outfit from childhood. And we did kid's party games and had ice cream. Very silly, but everyone loved it.
It's been raining off and on so far. I had to drive while it was pouring a bit ago and it wasn't fun. Oh, that grownup "kids" party sounds like fun. I like themed parties sometimes.
Hmm, not so good for the weather then. Hope it doesn't get in the way too much.
Oh, I completely recommend theme parties. Watching your adult family/friends playing pass the parcel is very good fun. :)
Not bad with Carl items today:
Never going to get all wishlist things, but we're chipping away at the list!
