I'm thinking they probably will bring them back next time. Most of the prizes were old ones that they re-released, the only new things were the two for being top 10 in each tier.

I honestly never used them before, but they have a higher average icons than most weapons.

Jealous of your blade. xD Paintbrushes, really? I kind of forget all about mine because I seem to do more damage in general with my trident/rift staff. Guess it depends on who you're hitting...

I use those normally. The paintbrush blades are just kind of sitting in my armory waiting for me to use them!

They do seem really useful for battles like this one. I definitely hope they change the boss battle format, but just in case I'll be in a better position next year.

they're 36-44 with 4 mod slots oooooh trident is 39-44 icons, I'll switch my set to that next boss. I didn't realize they had such a high average.

40-42 icons for rift staff but 3 mod slots so that hurts it.

Me too. The paintbrushes just sit there, usually, and only come in handy if the opponent steals one of my other offensive weapons.

I...kind of don't want to level up. I am intimidated by the crazy talent in level T12 and 13. LOL

Yeah, I forget about mod slots and honestly, I prefer seeing visible damage than a chance for blessings (I know, it should be the other way around). I have no strategy except fling myself at the enemy and tank through it.

they're pretty nice for a cheaper weapon though.

singed baguettes add 5 icons + a curse chance. then there's crit tears too.

Oh dude. I forgot there were baguettes. I've been using singed tears since...man, level 6. I gotta start replacing some mods. Crit and parched I definitely do have, so there's that.

parched are nice, pretty necessary because of the 4 extra icons + freeze immunity blessing.

I used my trident + rift staff for the boss battle as well. It gave me the most consistent amount of average damage per round.

Would you recommend critical + parched + singed on everything? Because that's what I have on my stuff, so hopefully I'm doing something right.

for bosses or for normal battles? for normal battles I do this:

3 mod slots: 2 parched 1 crit

4 mod slots: 2 parched 1 singed 1 crit

Yeah just for like regular everyday kind of battles. I haven't worried about mods too much yet, but I'll need better weapons eventually anyway.

some people do it differently and mod different weapons differently. I like having mine all the same.
