So basically there are three tiers of spending limits for the Secret Santa Shark. (I'll re-ping the group probably tonight or tomorrow since I think the last ping was pretty close to the downtime, and I needed to clarify a few more things) This is ONLY for the Secret Santa and doesn't affect whatever you want to put underneath other shark's trees or send out via the gift center.

So for the Baby Sharks (1-1.5 mil), you'd send out a gift or several gifts who's total user shop value on the day you send it out is within that range. Same for the Hammerheads (1.5-3 mil) and the SHARKNADO (3-5 mil) tiers, but for those you just are opting to spend more sp. It's up to you how much you want to spend within that range, but you must meet the minimum.

Additionally, when you sign up for the Secret Santa Shark (SSS), just let me or know a few WL categories you'd like your SSS to buy from or other items you'd like (e.g. specific boosters or miscellaneous items you may collect), so that way your SSS doesn't have to go too crazy trying to figure out what you want!

Hopefully that makes a little more sense :) (and again, I'll reping the group later with that information as well as other bits and pieces I think of that might make things more clear for everyone)

Pretty sure that Santa Shark is likely to eat the whole plate of cookies (plate included) and milk with glass. Hard to be picky with those jaws...

Xmas shopping round 1 is complete, though 2 of the shops I went to were out of stock, so I have to go to another branch in a different town next week.

My niece has a cold and is feeling very sorry for herself, and apparently digging more holes than usual on AC and burying anything she can find - clothes, shoes and furniture - is the new 'most fun thing'. Ain't no one visiting my town right now... 😊

I signed up for the MM last night. I sent out some really cute themed items. I got a couple of random items in return and that was it. I sent some more out earlier, but haven't heard anything since then. I am just going to go back to tossing presents under trees and anon gifting on the boards. I have spent over 300mil so far lol! It is worth it though. I saved up all year for this :D I love gifting ❤

Yeah, as I say, not sure I want to take the risk with the MM, rather just send out what I can directly to people's trees.

Shame the 504/502s are still with us, I am starting to work on my gifting, but keep having to wait for the site to come back!

I tried to do some Christmas shopping yesterday, but had no luck finding anything for the people I still need gifts for. I ended up buying some more wrapping paper and gift labels and a few things for myself. Off to do some more shopping later today. Hopefully I can find something for the husband (or he gives some better hints--it is really sweet though when he says he has me and that's all he needs). I'm working on making him a gift right now, but I'm a bit stumped on what I want to do next.

I've been sending a lot of letters in AC. I can now finally start saving bells, unless I start another public works project. I've only visited one town, but I don't think friend plays AC much. I've opened the gate in my town, but I hardly have any friends registered on my 3DS to come visit.

I used to save up a bunch of items and then dump them into the DC, but then I decided that anon gifting was way more fun :D

I am quickly getting there lol. I will be broke after in Jan., but it is worth it!

Errors are driving me crazy too! I am so afraid it will happen while I am gifting and the item will just go poof

Home made gifts are a thing of greatness, so that is always a good idea. I have made a number of knitted critters and sewn up sock monsters over the years...!

What are you doing about people who have not set up a tree yet? For a couple of people I sent them through the gift center, but then I started thinking that maybe they wont be around for a long time. Do I really want to gift people who are not on the site? I wanted to do my friends list first before I started random gifting.

For me, if someone has been active - posted recently or bought something from my shop, I am happy to gift, even if the tree's not up yet. I'll check again later in the month to see if any of those not-active folk have been active, and send a little something then.

My problem is I would never remember to go back. That is why I had to go down my list and once I started I kept going until I was done. I have such a lousy memory lol.
